Smash 4 only added placeholders as they went along, never more than just a couple unaccounted for at a time, which is why Ultimate having way more from the start than Smash 4 ever did is such an eyebrow raiser. While DBFZ is far from the first modern fighting game to have multiple waves of DLC, it's further proof that Bamco is all for it with games they develop or are at least involved with, and so they'd (probably) have no objections on their end to Ultimate following suit.Smash 4 had place holders too and DBFZ isn't the first game to have multiple seasons as SFV and Tekken 7 both have had multiple seasons already
By the way Z25 , where'd you hear about World of Light itself having up to 16 placeholder spots? I haven't heard of that before. Are you sure it isn't just hearsay?
