Meanwhile I finally wrapped up the bad endings today and got the full 100% on my Normal file

Getting to Chrom was some serious bull, I'm just surprised at some of the other things that are tripping people up.

Part of me is tempted to start a Hard file, but every intelligent brain cell in my body is telling me I wouldn't enjoy it so soon after beating the game and to wait until some DLC comes out to do the run with one of those characters (I mean, assuming you can play as them there).

I got a nearly untouched Classic and All-Star mode and a ton of challenges I haven't even begun to bother with, and it took me until like a week or less ago to think to start cleaning songs and Mii costume parts out of the Games and More shop, so I've got plenty to work on without it. Spirits too, but while I'm not keeping the best count the one's I've registered are past the 1k mark by a fair bit and considering there's a lot of summons/spirit shop purchases I haven't bothered with and the aforementioned Classic Mode situation the board's getting down to a semi-comfortable trickle at this point.

Also, have determination. It is better to hope. I have a feeling we are getting a new F-Zero and Mother 3 game next direct.
You never know, maybe we can get an Advance Wars game.

From what I understand, trademarking IPs like this could be indicative of an upcoming game within the series, hence the buzz and excitement.

Did you beat the two spirit battle in Gourmet Race? Not counting Dedede, there is two spirit you can fight, tho, you need to do quit poorly on the race (not eat alot of food (your score must be under 5 before you reach the goal I think)) to unlock the battle against waddle dee spirit.

I'm convinced that Tropical Freeze is the best platformer ever made.

Incredible level design, super unique and creative enemy and hazard design, perfect difficulty without being unfair, beautiful artistic direction, perfect characterization of the 5 Kongs, 5 playable characters, a harder New Game + when you thought it couldn't get any harder, lots of unlockable extras, wonderful graphics, and the single best original soundtrack to ever be made for a video game all wrapped in one beautiful bundle. Super Mario World and Rayman Legends comes close but holy hot god damn Tropical Freeze is in a whole nother league.

Tested both GameCube-styled Switch Pro Controllers I got for Christmas (pdp & PowerA). If you're wondering why two different makes is because my parents got me the PowerA one (the one I wanted) and one of my brothers got me the pdp one.

Both

• No rumble
• No amiibo reader
• Have the 6 buttons an official GameCube controller is missing (Minus, Home, Capture, ZL, left stick button, right stick button)

pdp

• Long wired cable
• Can switch the C Stick with a left stick styled stick
• Clearly designed for people with huge hands
• Plus/Minus/Capture/Home are a bit small and a little too close to each other
• Possibly the worst shoulder buttons I've ever used
• Meh D-Pad
• ABXY buttons need to be pushed deep

PowerA

• Wireless
• Requires 2 AA batteries, Will light up if in need of replacement (batteries are included in box)
• Almost identical to the official GameCube one in shape/build
• D-Pad is significantly improved compared to the official GameCube one (bigger and better designed)
• The ZL/ZR buttons (same place as GameCube's L/R) are "analog". Needs to be pressed down all the way to recognize the input
• The L/R (same as GameCube's Z) are deeper to press compared to official GC one (which I see as an improvement)
• Has gyro controls

Honestly, I would rank the PowerA controller on the same level as the Nintendo's own Pro Controller. I'm loving it that much. Easily the best third party controller I've even used, almost if Nintendo made it themselves (if it had rumble I'd call it perfect).

pdp controler is... okay. The bad shoulder buttons and the Plus/Minus/Capture/Home setup are really hurting it.

I tried the PowerA one on 4 games: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Brawlout, ARMS, & Splatoon 2

• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate & Brawlout- Works as you'd expect
• ARMS- I actually loved using the official GameCube controller on this game (after remapping the controls) but the missing Switch buttons made it a teeny bit harder to use. The PowerA just makes it better now. Might use this controller from now on for this game
• Splatoon 2- This game is actually unplayable with an official GC controller due to it missing buttons. The PowerA Switch controller having the missing buttons (and the gyro controls help it) makes it playable. However, the button layout of GameCube doesn't really fit for Splatoon

So yeah, those are my thoughts.

I may get the Power A one, but it's only downside is it's price.

I tried the HORI battle pad for Switch and it was Meh...

All 230 of my current stash of orbs were used on the Legendary Hero banner last night, and it was quite eventful!

To preface my summoning adventure, I only pulled one Summer Takumi out of all them: he was my free summon! My Summer Takumi is now at 40+2!

I pulled a whole bunch of 5 stars using the orb I gathered, so there's a lot to share for this one:

These were the five stars I got in the summoning session immediately after I got my third Summer Takumi as my free summon:

In subsequent summoning sessions, these were the other most notable full-round summons:

The total number of five stars I pulled with the orbs I used:

-4 Summer Camillas (Yes, I repeat, FOUR Summer Camillas)
-2 Helbindis
-1 Summer Takumi
-1 Fjorm
-1 Summer Young Tiki
-1 Eir
-1 Legendary Hector

All four Summer Camillas had meh IVs, and two of them have already been used as Hone Fliers fodder: one for my Myrrh, the other for my Flying Olivia. Both have been wanting Hone Fliers for a long time now, so it feels good to finally have that skill. My Flier Emblem will definitely improve in its offenses now thanks to Myrrh having the skill, while my Summer Takumi solos on my GHB, BHB, and LHB attempts will be easier now that Summer Takumi will receive the highest possible Attack and Speed boost from them. I'll be holding on to the other two Summer Camillas as future Hone Fliers fodder. Feels good to finally have some easy access to Hone Fliers atm.

The first Helbindi I pulled is +Atk -Def, while the second one I got is +HP -Def. I thought about foddering away one of them for their A-skill, but I've decided I'll merge them for the upcoming merge update to get rid of the Defense bane. The one with the Attack asset is definitely staying of course!

As for the other five stars, Fjorm and Legendary Hector had completely neutral natures, Summer Young Tiki is +HP -Res, and Eir is +Def -HP. Fjorm and Summer Young Tiki were merged with the old copies I have, Eir will be retained for skill inheritance (for either Swift Sparrow or Mystic Boost; she's also my second spare copy of her), and Legendary Hector has already passed his Distant Counter to my +Atk -Spd Sword Reinhardt I pulled a short while back. I can now finally finish building my Sword Reinhardt!

I think I'll still try pulling from the Legendary Hero banner these next few days, namely to get more Summer Takumis for merges, Legendary Hectors for DC, and a copy of Legendary Azura just to use for myself.

I think now I'm ready to do the "My Smash Ultimate Roster" thing, I've played all the characters to the best of my capabilities and understanding, and here I am. I'll post it later because this was intense, lot's of things I learned about the game and myself.

And with this I could say I've finished Ultimate. Of course the game never ends, since I'll be playing online a lot, but this was all that was to offer. Finished WoL on 100%, finished all challenges, all arcade routes, all unlockables (well, I guess I'm missing some spirits, but still) and all online characters in elite. Not too shabby huh?

So I downloaded Fortnite on my Switch, partly because it was free and partly because I wanted to see what the hype was about.

I suck at it, but it's neat. Flew a plane for a bit and shot down some other dude in a plane, shot a tomato, broke some stuff with a pick axe, and got 25th in my first 1v99 thing. The aesthetic is neat though. Won't play a ton of it, but it's far from a bad game.

I've been getting used to the new Shulk myself. Speed Monado is really fun as I can just spam NAirs and FAirs for days. Like, holy hell, his hitboxes ACTUALLY match his animations. Haven't even felt the merf to his BAir because of it.
Monado Wheel is super useful though sometimes I clearly release the button when it's at Speed but it switches to Shield. Probably a controller issue though.
