I'm not a fan of the regular theme of Brawl but I like a lot of the arrangements way better. Brawl Battlefield, Brawl Final Destination and Boss Battle Song 1 go hard as hell.

I'd have to see how I feel about it in a couple months but right now I'm really high on Ultimate's theme and a lot of its arrangements. ESPECIALLY the Mob Smash theme, I like it so much I have it on the highest setting in My Music for the Menu.

FINALLY PLAYING SMASH ULTIMATE WHOO!

Started off with a few rounds of Classic. I've beaten it with Kirby, Pikachu and Samus so far.

Marx's boss fight is freaking amazing. The campaigns in general have been really fun and different this time around. Classic's never been better!

As far as unlocks go, I've gotten Ness, Villager and Inkling. I plan to begin my adventure into the World of Light tomorrow, and hopefully unlock even more characters (and helpful Spirits) along the way.

Story deets are that the Kishiryu got sealed away after fighting the Druidon back in the prehistoric days. Now they're back and tbe Kishiryu get new masters

Though maybe part of the issue is that the zords got destroyed in Mighty Morphin' and Dino Thunder? I don't know if it was in the original Japanese versions. I never saw Zyuranger, and Mesogog does not exist in Dino Thunder's Japanese version, so it had to have have a different ending.

I just finished getting all three Super Mario event Spirits.

I didn't take any chances on any of them and thankfully I got them all first try, LOL. Wasn't that bad actually, although the river rapids one probably would have been hell if I hadn't seen people flipping out over the requirements and preemptively loaded up on Support Spirits to directly counter it.

I never watched anything handled by Saban post-Disney so I couldn't tell you what that is. Then again the only Saban thing I saw was Time Force

Well, Time Force and more dimensions showed up in the Super Ninja Steel crossover episode

Santa also appears in both Christmas episodes of Ninja Steel(and Super Ninja Steel), which is canon in Power Rangers, and he's existed since Mighty Morphin. That's more or less what I mean by continuity.

Sledge is somehow alive too. Despite the idea he was destroyed in the Dino Charge world. Could be a different Sledge or an alternate timeline shenanigan. In Dino Charge's ending, the dinosaurs no longer are extinct.

The only way they could make it any better is if, after you beat all the different Classic Modes: you could have the option to play any Classic Mode as any character.

Obviously, there'd be no reward for beating every Classic Mode version as every character, the mixing and matching would be the reward in itself.

World of Light may or may not be the best Adventure Mode, depending on how much you like Character References and unique fights.

If Platforming Levels is what you're after, World of Light is clearly the worst; but that's obviously not what WoL is trying to be.

Yeah for me WoL is easily top tier, but it's not for everyone.

Also it's kinda silly that they don't allow for boss rematches.

Regardless, I still think World of Light is probably the best Adventure Mode we've had so far. Though each of the three have their own pros and cons.

Melee's has cool platforming levels, and it's short length means it's very replayable, but it kind of fizzles out near the end, becoming a series of battles.
Subspace Emissary has some great character cutscenes, but very few of the stages actually have anything to do with Nintendo's franchises (which is part of the charm of Melee's Adventure Mode).
World of Light is way more battle oriented, but it's all extremely creative and it's main mechanic, the Spirits, work outside of the mode, giving them more merit. However, it's very, very long, and the dearth of platforming levels can be a turn-off for some.

However, the game never says you have to beat the final battle on any specific difficulty, so put it on Easy and whale on the bosses with Ganondorf (which also knocks out the "Get through Part 1 of the Final Battle as Ganondorf without being KO'd" challenge as well), which is what I did.

After the slog of trying to get through the Final Battle on Hard Mode, being able to trash everything as Ganondorf was incredibly cathartic.

I still have to do the "Get Three Stocks over a L9 CPU", "Meteor Smash 3 L9 CPUs", the Ken and Wolf Century Smash Challenges, the 3 KO Cruel Smash Challenge and all the Online Challenges.

The Meteor Smash one will probably be the worst one for me, because I'm atrocious at Air Play.

I mean, I wouldn't say I like it more than 64's Race to the Finish. But I think that one was the best one anyway. This one feels short and a bit too much like the pressure is on you. I'd like to see the max possible score without a time limit(so the Black Hole removed). Would be neat.
