When looking for good fan art, you got to look everywhere you can, for gold lies at the bottom of the ocean, or whatever the hell. I go to certain r34 sites that sometimes post clean stuff to add to my collection like Gelbooru because you will find surprisingly good stuff there. But you have to learn how to tolerate porn as a result, and as a male, that's not too difficult. Depending on the tag. And some tags are more obvious than others.

I stayed up for a bit last night the moment the Merlin banner dropped in Fate/Grand Order, although I had to wait for about 30 minutes because the game server crashed during the first 30 minutes.

There's a lot to talk about, but it's really exciting! I've enclosed everything about my summoning adventure in the spoiler tag below since it's a lengthy read, and it's filled with lots of images:

Spoiler: My Merlin Banner summoning adventure

I immediately went for the banner the moment game started up and first used my 37 Summoning Tickets. I didn't get much from them other than my first Prisma Cosmos CE and my first copy of this particularly noteworthy servant!

Well well, I pulled who is arguably the best Saber in the game (at least, prior to Musashi Miyamoto's big debut in Fate/GO)! I remember seeing the golden Saber card sparkle and electrify thinking it might be my first Artoria, but I'll gladly take Saberlot! He's one of my favorite Knights of the Round Table along with Bedivere after finishing Camelot's story, and I've heard a lot about how good of a servant he is. I'm quite happy to finally pull him!

My Summoning Tickets eventually ran out with no Merlin pulled from them, so it was time to move on to the Saint Quartz. Going into it, I had 371 of them. I didn't get much in first few rounds of summonings other than another Prisma Cosmos CE, my third Chevalier d'Eon, and this:

Yep, my first Berserker Lancelot! Nice to have another Berserker useful for farming! The only other Berserker I've been using up to this point was Tamamo Cat, so he'll be a good addition too. Funny how both Lancelots in the game finally answered my summoning call last night!

But then the big one: I was starting to get worried I'd use up all of my Saint Quartz in trying to pull Merlin with no success. After 240 Saint Quartz were used, on the 8th round of summoning, on the fourth pull of that round, a golden Caster card appeared! My eyes opened wide, and I was soon greeted by a wonderful face!

AAAAHHHHH!!!!!

I PULLED MERLIN!!!

Welcome home, Merlin! I'm truly honored you answered my summoning call!

I'm really happy those last few months of saving up for him payed off! I may not have my own Waver or normal Tamamo, but at least I have my own Merlin, and I know he'll be a huge asset to my party considering that many of strongest hitting servants are Buster-oriented: Jalter, Summer Tamamo, Rama, Heracles, Francis Drake, Emiya, and Mordred to name a few. This also means I can now pull off the golden combo of Jalter + Merlin + Friend Waver for future battles, or I could even go for Merlin and Hans as my lead servants while using a friend's strong-hitting servant for future battles!

Turns out all those Golden EXP cards wasn't enough to fully level up Merlin though. I did save up plenty of other EXP cards from past battles though, so I used those and the Golden EXP card set from the Da Vinci shop. He's at Level 65 at the moment. It also turns out I'm actually short on Forbidden Pages: I only have three of them at the moment, so I can't go for his Third Ascension just yet. Thankfully, the Barbatos raid provides Forbidden Pages from what I heard, so it looks like I'll need to grind on that to get all the Forbidden Pages Merlin needs. I'll also need to grind for some more EXP cards. Hopefully, I can level up Merlin to Level 90 quickly!

I now have 131 Saint Quartz left. I'm thinking about using them for the soon-to-come King Hassan banner since, like Merlin, he's another servant I grew to like after finishing Babylonia. He also makes an extremely good single-target Assassin, and the only one that I have who's useful in that regard is Ryougi Shiki, so he'd make a nice addition to my party (not to mention he works pretty well with Merlin's Buster support).

If I don't pull King Hassan from my remaining Saint Quartz, I won't be bothered too much. The next servant that I really want to pull for Okita Souji, but she's not showing up until half a year from now when the Gudaguda Honnouji rerun shows up (I think? Correct me if I'm wrong regarding when that rerun banner shows up), so I'll have to time to stockpile on Saint Quartz.

Overall, I had a pretty great start to the day! I'm really looking forward to using Merlin!

Well, better than my experience, especially my phone account. My phone account got jack other than a 5-Star Vessel of the Saint, which would be useful for Jeanne(If I had her!) until her NP Upgrade. Not even a new 4-star Servant.
Meanwhile, my pad account got better, but still no 5-stars Servants in general. That said, I did get Frankenstein's Monster, Lancer Vlad III(which means both my accounts have Lancer Vlad III, much like Berserker Vlad III), and another Berserker Lancelot(which means more NP Damage for my best farming Servant). Also got to Max Limit my Divine Banquet.
So yeah, my pad account got better compared to my phone account. Like, I wasn't putting alot of hope into getting Merlin, but geez, what I got with the phone account was sad. Although some of my pad account's pulls made up for it.
Anyway, got to start farming Barbatos before he goes down quickly.

'just finished WoL.

Man, what a ride that was...a mixed one filled with both good and bad points.

Before anyone say or ask, no, I do not dislike WoL, in fact, there is alot of stuff that I found greats that sadly get put down by the overall pace of the mode. It was said before by others, but I say it again now: this mode is way too long for what it have and the lenght should have either been reduced or more ideas should have been put into it to justify the size of it all. I say that as someone who took breaks who where more and less long between session to not end up being tired too fast while playing WoL, and while it did help for a long time, after some times, I still felt the fatigue settling in after getting in

And while it doesn't ruin my experience, I can certainly understand why peoples would get tired by it after the 10 hours mark, and for that, I don't think I replay this mode that much that I would have liked too. (I still try to 100% tho, just to be sure I get everything)

Also, in case someone here is curious, I don't know how I would rank with Melee & Brawl Adventure mode. Because while all of them have their pro & con, I feel like every Adventure Mode become tiring after awhile, Melee Adventure Mode is personally the most boring one for me after replaying it with every characters due to how repetitif the battles get. Brawl ESS is hard to say because I have big nostalgia google on it with tons of good memories on it, but even then that said, I still remember moment while I was replaying the mode being like "Oh lord, can I skip that part? I want to get to the good stuff!", so replaying it today would probably gave me that same impression.

Overall, in term of enjoyment, I say the ranking would be like this:

1:ESS

2:WoL

3:Melee Adventure Mode (can't even get a fancy time)

And no, I won't go as to what I liked or disliked because this post is already long enough and I am tired, so yeah, maybe next time.

Using Geralt as a base cause I thought he made the most sense. It's not great though lol I hate how bulky he looks and the hair barely resembles him, but this is as good as I can do right now lol.

Oof, that sounds rough for your phone account. You have my sympathies.

Coincidentally though, Vessel of the Saint is my most wanted CE right now. It works perfectly with my Summer Tamamo since it stops the self-stun debuff from her third skill completely without having to use another servant or a master command to grant debuff immunity.

One other servant i forgot to mention that I pulled with my Saint Quartz was my fifth Carmilla. She's now my first 4-star servant aside from the welfares that reached NP5! I still haven't leveled her up though, but I think I'll do that once I finish leveling up Merlin and Lancelot.

I have like atleast 8. lol I guess they’re kinda adorable to, since they’re basically Animal Crossing characters in a Zelda type adventure game setting.

None of my OCs from when I was a kid survived because they were too damn edgy but I'm considering reviving the three villains I had since I always liked their concepts.

The oldest surviving OCs I have are from back on 2014 and, man, it's funny how much I developed them over the years and I stipl haven't stopped.
