He may have almost been playable but Sakurai knew he was too strong to fully join the roster.

But he kicks ass in that spirit fight for him.

Tried my hand at deviled eggs.

Life lesson, kiddies. Anyone who tells you that shaking hardboiled eggs in a container is an excellent way to get the shells off is a liar, an idiot, or both.

Also it's difficult to make deviled eggs with no mayo. Not impossible, just difficult.

In the end, I got a tangy Triscuit dip out of it. Bit disappointed, but I'm still eating it.

I finally got around to listening to Try, Try, Try by The Smashing Pumpkins. For some reason I didn't know that was the name of that song despite also having some serious, weird, Nostalgia for it. Can definitely see how it's your #2.

Right? I understand Machina's reputation and all but people ****ing sleep on that one.

Evoking nostalgia is probably all the better, what with us somewhere in the middle of the a e s t h e t i c era.

Also, I work at an American Eagle and imagine that there's a Smashing Pumpkins song on our playlist now.

That Christmas Album doesn't seem too farfetched now...

For all that could go wrong with a SP Christmas album, I do quite enjoy that one song they made. He has that floaty voice that kind of just melds with the sleigh bells and what not.

Btw I ended up watching the new Mary Poppins Returns movie on a whim (we needed to kill time) and I had no idea that movie existed an hour before.

So I’ve been trying to play more of snake and down well o line. I espcially love setting c4 down and leaving it till they lose track of where it is and get bodied by it.

But what the hell is the point if his down throw? The enemy gets right back up and I can’t even seem to find a good move to combo with it. His smash attacks have a bit of a delay but are worth it if you pull it off, and none of his other moves seem to even be able to hit the opponent when down thrown.

I'd watch it for Emily Blunt alone. She's a joy to watch and one of the best actresses on the planet BUT I'm ****ing broke as all hell after Christmas purchasing all month.

Actually, Snake's down throw is a little bit more complex. It seems the video you showed didn't talk about it in detail. After seeing Ally and MVD play Snake I wanted to look for some stuff, and in this video of GIMR they talk about Snake's down throw in detail.

Basically, when you down throw and the enemy is at 0%, Snake has 4 frames of disadvantage, and since get up options are all frame 1 invincible, it's really hard to get anything on that percent, so you are better doing upthrow at 0 for the uptilt true combo, or fthrow/bthrow to get stage advantage in upper percents. When you start getting damage on enemies, Snake will end up having frame advantage, and you can actually act before the enemy can. So for example, at 110%, Snake has 3 frames of advantage, and since his jab is frame 3, he can combo that easily. The most important it's 160%, because Snake has 6 frames of advantage, same as his uptilt, and since it's a kill move, it means that grabbing someone at 160% is a free kill.

I've been having a lot of fun with Snake, setting up ledge traps is something I didn't know I liked until now. Specially in doubles where there's so much chaos.

That is true, like rice with actual taste or pizza with flavors other than pepperoni or cheese.

I mean I'm Asian so I can eat rice however and be satisfied (lol, that's a generalization but it's true for me at least) but if I'm eating certain styles of cooking then the rice better be seasoned. Nothing like going to a Mexican restaurant and having the rice be incredibly bland

I really don't know how people can live with rice so bland. When I was in Canada, I had to drown that **** in ketchup in hopes of tasting SOMETHING.

I'll admit it was easier before I decided I want to expand my palate
It also depends on if what it's being served with is flavorful enough anyway (so, in hindsight, my rice was rarely ever untouched so... my bad).

Recently when I make rice I at least butter and salt it if I'm feeling lazy. The other night I made some Mexican food so it had lime and cilantro too.

Cilantro's great and I feel bad for the people genetically predisposed to having it taste like soap.
