Man can it be the 7th already?
It has Metroid, Zelda, all the Mario games you didn't want to replay, Zelda again but with cheats, a bunch of useless garbage, Soccer and Dodgeball

Incredible how realistic Fallout 76 depicts what would happen if the same amount of nukes went off in real life
Gosh fricking darnit how dare you steal my snark before it even occurs to me

Shadow Temple has been defeated!

After giving it a third shot, I was able to catch onto the boss' pattern very quickly, and it was a cinch to defeat him.

Onto Gerudo Valley (aka the best Smash 4 3DS stage :p )
Spirit Temple theme is awesome, really love that whole area.

That's why I feel the NES service was such a stupid idea. Why bother giving us a good set of NES games when they already sold the NES classic? It makes no ****in' sense. And since the Switch has no traditional Z button, that's the point of doing N64 up either?

Just make a Virtual Console and call it a day instead of this nonsense. 3 games a month when you can beat them in 3 hours tops? Ludicrous.

The Shadow Temple is one of my favorite dungeons to go back and explore imo. I'd say it's right up there alongside the likes of the Tower of the Gods and Snowpeak Ruins.

Maybe I should also try The Messenger sometime. I think that was the first suggestion praline praline gave me, I'm pretty certain.
It's really good and it's getting a new update next week that includes New Game+, an in-game Jukebox and some other improvements (including a massive buff to a certain weapon)

Coincidentally, those are two more of my favorite dungeons. Both highlights of their respective games, imo. It's fun revisit dungeons like those ones. There's a lot to see, they're fun to traverse and explore.

Speaking of Snowpeak, I want to see the Chilfos appear in another Zelda game someday. Anyone with me on this?

For a common mook in the dungeon, these guys seriously had class.

Some mix of the Zelda talk and VR dabbling kind of makes me want a VR Zelda remake now.

I think OoT would probably be the cleanest adaptation. Standing design, movement options largely limited to relatively well-paced walking/running or setpiece-esque movements like iron boots/hookshot/diving in place/horse, spacious but not enormous areas - you could probably get away with a texture upgrade and sliding movement and call it a day.

BotW would be fun (freeclimbing especially), and MM would be a personal wish (Stone. Tower. Temple.), but both have mechanics that would be very difficult to translate to VR (most of Link's regular movement options in the former and Goron/Zora Mask in the latter).

I have learned the final Ocarina song and have also gained Nayru's love. Next playing session, I will take on the Spirit Temple. I've been playing OOT for about 3 hours now, so I need a break lol

Yeah there's that. Hence why sliding movement would probably be the way to go. Rolls dip out entirely.

Given hand tracking (making the stick tricks inside the Deku Tree no longer require rolling) you could replace rolling into things with dashing into them for the remaining two or three puzzles that insist.

I did some cleaning in my room and I found my old Tom and Huckleberry Fin anime dub.

It's definitely a thing.

I also found my Wii but my sensor bar has a snapped cord so there's no hope in playing it. It has all my wiiware games in it too, so I definitely just can't trash it.

Do you have a Wii U so we can duke it out in Smash Bros.?

I would like to do so on Wednesday. :V

Also, howdy everyone! My sibling has Pikachu and of course a shiny is found in there while I actually try and do not get one.

Been looking over some buffs/nerfs of some of the characters I play, overall things are looking decently optimistic
:ultlink:-buffed (recovery slightly nerfed since no tether recovery, remote bombs look fun to use, a normal grab which is apparently one of the fastest in the game will be huge for Link, he's also gotten huge buffs to his aerials which were already either good or decent)
:ultzss:-nerfed (can't get rage kills with ladder combos anymore but still will likely be a good character, being a rushdown fighter she will benefit from Ultimate's mechanics changes and her grab is slightly better it seems)
:ultcloud:-nerfed (Limit Break timer makes him less reliant on getting limit break since it will be less useful, but will still likely be a solid character but not near the top)
:ultroy:-buffed (noticed how much faster he seems in Ultimate and is one character that benefits a lot from the game's new mechanics)
:ultsamus:-kinda nerfed? (her dash attack doesn't lead to combos anymore but a lot of her attacks and aerials have been buffed A LOT, charging in midair is also a useful buff, Will be interesting to see what else she can do, but she does still needs some buffs, like her FREAKING JAB WHAT THE HECK!!! WHY'S IT STILL BAD!!!?!?)
:ultzelda:-buffed (SHE DOESN'T GO INTO FREEFALL WITH HER SIDE B ANYMORE ABOUT FREAKIN TIME!!!! Her Phantom looks a lot more useful)
:ultike:-buffed (better uair, overall buffs to his kit will make him more of threat overall, still got great kill power)

I heard Young Link has great potential and could be the best out of the Links.

Nice track record. Me personally, I'm thinking about trying Link in the new game :)
Here is how my characters are looking:

Strong buffs: :ultpichu:
Slight buffs: :ultness::ultfalco:
Neutral: :ultwolf::ultwario:
Slight nerfs: :ultmario:
Strong nerfs: :ultfox:

So.

I played Deltarune today.

I am sure you will enjoy it. It seems you are going pacifist mode.

Young Link does have great potential. I'm probably going to play him a fair bit tbh.

He's definitely going to benefit a lot from Ultimate's new mechanics since he's very quick.

Have Bayo and Shiek got big nerfs? I expect them to.
Sheik is pretty much the same as she is in the present Smash 4 meta: strong but not a key character in the meta.

Bayo got solid nerfs. She'll still be a high tier at least, but she's far from oppressive. She only seemed oppressive in the Invitational back during the summer because 1.) SDI wasn't placed into the demo, and 2.) Spanish players have been taking notes since they are one of the nations playing the demo the most, and Bayo's confirmed to have nerfs on all of her specials and is significantly weaker compared to her Smash 4 self. I think she'll still be in the top 1/3rd at least, but #1? No. Not for now at least. It's looking like Pikachu has the title of #1 for now.

I am so glad they nerfed Luigi, because he was busted.

Like he can kill a handful of characters at zero percent with that cyclone in Smash 4.

I'm gonna miss Toon Link's F-Smash...but hopefully this new one will still get the job done.

Among some of my veteran mains, I'm really looking forward to trying him, King Dedede and Mewtwo out. Dedede in particular is shaping up to be much better than he was in Smash 4.
