They do but they're hyping this one up because it's gonna be the last Heisei generation movie despite the last one being Heisei Generations Final. Plus there's how the cast in the winter crossover movies are more than "Current heroes and the heroes of last year" with some hinting Toei remembered what a budget was and hired some actors to reprise their roles who haven't appeared in the franchise for nearly 2 goddamn decades and some fanfavourites who were gone for a near decade. Plus the current season is an anniversary season so they're pushing this extra hard

You know where in movies the end of the second act somebody is blown up/exposed? And then they spend half of the third act showing the whole cast moping? Yeah I hate that. Having the heroes temporarily lose and then get the runback is more fun to watch.

1. Weak character knows they can't win, still tries to fight. Or stronger character on their last leg pushes beyond their limit. IT GIVES ME LIFE. Though I like it so much I would barely call it a guilty pleasure.

2. Game related, but Boss Rushes.

3. Heroes with big speeches or brooding monologues.

Becky's pretty messed up so I'll be surprised if she doesn't lose the title before 2019. Apparently her orbital bone could be ****ed and that same injury kept Austin Aries out for about a year.

As for Bryan... I'm unsure of this turn. I think it would've been better if AJ turned, but on the other hand Bryan can be a really good heel and he's been boring as **** this year. I don't think he's wrestling Shane though, especially if the rumors of heel Shane are true.

Overall I'm intrigued about the turn, I'm just annoyed that the two reasons I was kinda looking forward to Survivor Series are gone all because of a botch (thanks Nia) and WWE going for twist endings where they don't belong.

Probably harmless, but despise: Save The Princess. Rubbed me wrong for a while now, mostly due to the implications of the Standard Hero Reward. Wouldn't mind subverting it sometime.

Guilty pleasures: Evil Laugh. Heroic Comedic Sociopath. And, because I'm a hungry hungry hypocrite, Testosterone Poisoning.

The first thing that comes to my mind is when a girl's a love of interest to the male protagonist just because well she's the girl main character. I don't know what this trope is actually called because it's hard to find it because it's somewhat non descriptive. And it's weird that it's hard to find because I see it all the time in media.

Main guilty pleasure trope that comes to mind is pretty much any and almost every camp gay trope, especially Agent Peacock. That trope is my jam.(And I just noticed that the initial quote has to do with Alucard in SotN styling on his foes, because of course.) Only reason why have a hint of guilt in any of this is because it can be seen has harmful to reinforce these kinds of stereotypes. Especially in regarding villains. But to me, that's what makes a lot of them so cool in the first place. There's nothing better than beating someone with good fashion. Much like how I'm going to style on @Shishœ this Thursday by dabbing on him with Vanilla Ice.

A more so guilty one would be will they/won't they. Which I was going to put as my harmless but despised trope until I remembered that Shish and I have the ultimate will they/ won't they relationship.

The third trope would be villain monologues. I only find them bad when it's a cheap way of getting the villain beaten. A lot of the time they fill in a needed purpose or characterization, or at least the ones I can recall. Same goes for not attacking someone during their transformation.

Can't think of a trope I'd consider harmless that I despise, closest would be whatever the hell "people with superpowers suffer Fantastic Racism so they have to remain hidden to escape the government who wants to run experiments on them" because trust me, this one happens a lot and I don't hate it nor do I find it unnecessary, it just gets old after seeing it for the hundredth time.
Wait, no, I do remember, it's Power Level bull****. Why show how strong a character is when you can shout meaningless numbers at us.

As for guilty pleasures, Beyond The Impossible would be the first. It's usually handwavy but god how the hell am I gonna care about that?

And last but most importantly: The Power of Friendship.
It's such a silly trope and when it has been overused so much, it could get tiring and dumb but for me, I'm gonna eat this **** all up and scream "because my friends give me strength!" alongside that stupid protagonist.
