This is......a strange banner. That being said, why Camilla again? I mean, quite honestly, with Mikoto there, I would've been a bit ecstatic if Sumeragi was there. Still, seeing both Corrins is a garb similar to Azura's is strange, but they look quite nice.

Oh no, I don't feel like it's "self-serving" to not vote. Like I keep saying, I used to vote ALL THE TIME, but I'm too exhausted with this cycle to do it. When the time comes, I might vote next time

Geez, 3 Alts for a regular banner is definitely overkill. They hardly ever did 2 Alt Banners, as I think the only regular Banner that did that was the Thracia Banner with Leif, Nanna, Reinhardt and Olwen. What exactly prompted them to do this Banner with 3 Alts? Not to mention, why Camilla? They easily could've done Lilith, Arete or Sumeragi.
Although ironically, besides the Easter Banner, Camilla seems to have an Alt whenever Corrin gets one. She has a Summer one for Summer Corrin(although she didn't appear on the same banner), she has a New Years one for NY!Corrin and now she's getting an Alt alongside both Corrins.

All that aside, this better be an interesting Paralogue Chapter for them to do 3 Alts. Cause the Chapter actually looks potentially interesting and Reddit is speculating that this could be a "Fallen Heroes 2" Banner. So this Chapter better blow some minds.
And I also hope it comes with a GHB Banner too. Would be interesting if they bring a GHB Battle related to the Banner and it's either Arete, Sumeragi, Lilith or Anankos.

Edit: Heh, thinking about it, I can only imagine the salt if Camilla wins the Choose Your Legends 3 Vote.

Seeing more trailers in different styles would be pretty sweet again. Palutena’s has an awesome anime style and seeing different trailers made more akin to their game series or different art styles in general would be really hype.


On a side note. Many people are saying a game awards dlc reveal is coming. I wonder if Nintendo would tease this or would let people get caught off guard and hyped

I'd imagine a CGI trailer for Piranha Plant would play similar to the trailer we got, only they'd show Luigi, the Yoshis, and maybe some other Smash characters being incapacitated differently. We'd see them all lying on the ground, with zoom-in shots of large bite marks appearing on their bodies (the first hint that it's Piranha Plant's doing). Mario's shadow is seen as he looks at Luigi, and Mario still looks just as pissed as he did in the Piranha Plant trailer we got. He walks around trying to investigate the cause until he stumbles on the Piranha Plant's pot. Mario squints at the pot, and the Piranha Plant comes out. Mario realizes the Piranha Plant was responsible, and he prepares to attack. The Piranha Plant then surprises Mario with a lunge attack as it propels itself forward, following up with a combo that finishes with a powerful chomp to send Mario flying. It then does a few chomps toward the camera until its reveal card pops up, and then cue into the gameplay footage.

The post gameplay footage would probably involve some CGI of a potential fight about to break out between Ivysaur and Piranha Plant, fitting as the two are the main plant fighters in the Smash Ultimate roster.

So this is the new banner we're getting for November, huh? Guess the beast units really won't be coming until some time later.

This banner is an easy skip for me. I'm interested in none of the units. Pretty disappointed they went for a fifth Camilla alt this soon when there were other choices they could've done for a fourth Fates character to fit the Valla theme. Since Mikoto got her time to shine in Heroes in this banner, I think Arete should've be part of that same banner since she's also Vallite AND Mikoto's sister (not to mention she'd be a fitting "Conquest" parallel to Mikoto since Arete was essentially queen of Nohr once she married Garon).

And thank god this banner is an easy skip, because that means I can save more orbs for Kaden's potential debut in Heroes with the first Beast unit banner when that arrives!

I think this video accurately sums up how the Fire Emblem community reacted to this new banner news, stemming from various factors like having another Fates banner, a fifth Camilla alt this soon, and the new banner turning out to have no beast units.
