Most of what I said a week ago still applies in regards to this case, but now that I've finished it, I can finish saying what I thought about it.
I'm a little creeped out by "Director Hotti" (or rather, the patient posing as him) and how he seems to be rather "interested" in Ini Miney.
It was kind of creepy to see Morgan talking to that picture of Misty. That's kind of when I had started to expect that she might not be as good of a person as she seemed.
Despite being the true culprit behind the case, I still feel kind of bad for Mimi Miney. She did kill Dr. Grey, but Grey wasn't that nice of a person anyways, and I do find it easy to feel sympathy for her, given everything that had happened to her.
Not going to lie, I kind of expected Morgan to play a bit of a bigger role in regards to the actual trial. I did get to cross-examine her, but only once. I expected that I might've had to dig up some dirty truth regarding something she might have done in the past, but it looks like I was wrong. I do feel like I'll see the impact of her actions later on though. I'm guessing the epilogue to the case hints at something that happens later.
I do feel sort of bad for Maya, knowing that her guardian was planning to get rid of her so that someone in her family could become the Master. It did feel nice to finally see her get to see Mia again for the first time in months (and possibly over a year(?)) though.
I do sort of notice a pattern regarding pairs of sisters in this series. So far, with every group of sisters, they are never both alive and free.
Misty and Morgan - Misty's disappeared for a long time and Morgan is currently in jail by the end of this case.
Mia and Maya - Mia is dead, but Maya is alive and free.
Ema and Lana - They are both alive, but since Lana had forged evidence during SL-9(even though she was blackmailed by Gant), she has to spend time in prison.
Ini and Mimi - Ini died in the car crash and Mimi is now arrested for the murder of Dr. Grey.
Just something I thought was interesting.
Overall, I thought that this case was really good, although I personally prefer Turnabout Sisters, as far as second cases go.
Next up is Turnabout Big Top, which I know is one of the least liked cases in the entire franchise. I'm hoping that I don't mind it too much, but I know that's generally considered the weakest point of Justice For All.
