I will just say this.

Book III's reveal better knock my socks off.

Like they have to fly right out the window, to the point I have to go outside to go and find them.

Because saving for the last day of Laegjarn's banner, and the prospect of Book III and potentially a big new feature or two to go with it, are all that's keeping me playing this game at the moment.

It's one thing to have a drought in game content and events because we're in a transitional period, but the Armour epidemic has been a thing for months and the worst part about it is that it's not even original characters, it's just alts of characters who mostly already have alts. The only original armour character we've had in the past few months is Hardin, off the top of my head.

I don't even care about Arena much, the problem with all of these armour units is that they're just making the game boring and predictable, and they usually don't even offer Skill fodder because their fancy new skills are armour exclusive.

Like I can't defend that. I love the game at its core but they need to get their finger out.

Seriously though, very interesting banner. Adore the lot of them for various reasons.

They've gone deep into special screw territory, which seems odd to me, and I'm genuinely unsure what the implications will be long-term. We'll see.

Will say that Myrrh's breath weapon doesn't excite me a smidge. Trading the ever-present DC for a mostly guaranteed follow up might be alright on an infantry, but Armors have so many better options for that in Fighters that they'd rather keep the A slot available for something fun, like a Breath skill. But she's probably going to share in L!Tiki's 180 BST business and be a monster no matter what.

Red pool's ****ing stuffed though. If I thought it was a pain to make Smol Tiki come home, turns out that **** was just Lunatic difficulty.

I both am and am not looking forward to it.

Yeah, because it was nowhere near the actual worst.
Any dice block that makes you potentially lose coins is automatically in the trash, because you got **** like Rosalina rewarding you for picking the OP dice. But my boi Waluigi (and also Boo and other people I'm currently forgetting) have to get a cost reduction for literally the same type of dice.

Well, psychopath and sociopath are just alternative(and not official) terms for people with antisocial personality disorder. Which isn't the same as being an introvert. It's more like being actively deceitful and hostile towards other people. They also disregard any consequences for their actions.

I mean, I don't know if I've actually met someone with ASPD. But I swear our current US president seems to have it now that I think about it.

Went into The Walking Dead's season premiere tonight hoping to see some improvements over the last season, and also hoping to regain the eagerness and higher expectations for the rest of the season that I used to feel for most of it's prior seasons.

Instead the season premiere is hardly even on my mind right now because it's ending was followed up with a tribute I didn't expect to see: just then did my family and I find out that Scott Wilson (portraying Hershel Greene on the show) had passed away.

...I'm kind of at a loss for words...

I feel bad for those with such a mental disorder as it means they can't form the emotional connections like empathy as a a healthy minded person would. I couldn't imagine myself as someone that primilary decieves and manipulates with no regard for others.

If you want to think that long term, you'll find eventually every console generation will become emulatable on PC.

The problem is I don't really use my PC for gaming, rather for editorial work. Literally, the Switch is practically God's grace for me, considering I also go out a lot, too. And normally unless if it'll come down the road later on, and it isn't a game like Mario Odyssey or Smash Ultimate, I'd rather wait and also balance out my finances.

For example, I knew OKAMI HD came out a while ago, but it came out on the Switch, and I much rather prefer 1080p/Handheld+Home-only rather than 4K/Home-only. The fact that the whole $39.99 9-Game Kingdom Hearts collection is coming out especially with now the PS5 being backwards compatible just renders me getting it on the PS4 completely useless.
