I made a phone wallpaper for my Flier Emblem team (aka Clairlines).

Laegjarn isn't out yet but I plan to make her one of my main fliers, and I didn't want to have both Hinokas in the wallpaper.

I might make more of these for some of my other teams.

Well guys: I plan on going to my local Best Buy today to play Smash Bros Ultimate. Depending on the circumstances, I may or may not be able to record footage today via my phone, but I'll see what I can do. :p

I had plans to play Kirby and Ridley, but I'm sure praline praline still wants to see Snake footage, right?
;'3 You sure are lucky~! ^u^ Hope you have a great time with the Demo! :3 And I hope you find Rids fun to play!

So, remember the moment in TGC where you are forced to do sidequests to advance the story?

Well....it isn't as bad as I thought, sure, stopping the players to do sidequest sound really boring and I would have prefer if they didn't do that. But for what it's worth, the sidequest in this game are pretty good that I don't feel like my time is wasted. This is due for the most part that sidequest here, contrary to the main game for the most part, have the characters having actual dialogue instead of sets of generic lines, which make doing those sidequest more fun if you want to know more about the characters reaction to the world around them.

Plus, some sidequest reward you with 2,3 or more points, and you also can get some by just talking to them, again, making the system faster and easier to reach the requirement.

So really, I don't have much to complain beside that, I feel like they should have make the final lock before you can advance the adventure require you a level 3 town (or whatever it's called in English) instead of a level 4 requirement, but outside of that, I really like this system and most of the sidequests of this games.

Huh.

EDIT: oh wait ps4 has vc never mind im ****ing stupid
Don't worry, the FF7 remake isn't even gonna be on PS4 anyway.

You'll see it mid Playstation 6 probably.

But it does means that Cloud is no longer the only Smash character whose debut game isn't playable on a Nintendo console in some form.

I beat DMC4, goddamn is that a good *** game. And even though I'm a scrub I saw that Dante can shred through goddamn boss fights easier than Nero can handle some enemies
I remember Nero's gameplay getting awfully repetitious after a while. But Dante is a lot of fun.

I wanna go back to that game...

Alright guys, I’m back: I was able to play Kirby and Snake (paging praline praline ) and both were quite fun to play despite the fact the match was quite chaotic and we had to use Pro Controllers instead of the GameCube Controller I was comfortable with.

I was thinking of playing as Ridley the next time I get the chance as they only allowed up to 2 matches as a free for all (first was practice, and second was the real match). A shame I wasn’t told that you could play more matches by having a colored band, but oh well.

Yeah it's cause Nero doesn't have that many options. He had 1 sword, 1 gun and 2 Devil Breaker variants. Dante gets 3 melee weapons, 3 ranged weapons and the style system that he can switch between at will

I'm pretty sure in that game Dante also gets Yamato. You have to double tap on a specific style, say Royal Guard for example, then click on it again. It's stuck to the style button, but that's how you get to use Yamato.

I think that was Nero.

You get it near the end of his playthrough.

Well, the thing is... the footage is a bit hard to see, I'm in the shot when I didn't necessarily want that, and well... I'm not exactly a top tier Snake player.

Would you still want to see it anyway? I mainly just do a bunch of aerial attacks and smash attacks with the occasional dash attack and such thrown in. :p

If you don’t wanna post it that’s fine. You can just give me the low down of how his moves feel. That’s good enough for me.

The general run down from what I've seen is that he feels fast and quick to play and his moves do have some great KO and launching power to them. Most notably, his forward smash is good for KOs and coverage, his aerials have good range and come out pretty quickly, and he does tend to be quite fast movement wise.

I will just say now we decided to randomly let the game decide which stage to play on, which turned out to be Boxing Ring (ironically, the stage we were originally going to play on), so there wasn't any awesome spikes I could do, sadly. Plus, the general chaos of the match prevented me from doing much else other then being bombarded by items or getting chomped on by Pac-Man's Final Smash.

I'd say that about covers it.

Being honest, praline praline , I could edit the footage so the screen is zoomed in enough where I don't really appear, but I have a bad feeling Nintendo will try to take down my video as the employees at Best Buy said they can only record footage if people are present in the footage, so...

Welp, finished the Golden DLC, 19 hours total, and with almost every side quest done (I know there has to be something else but I dunno how to unlock the remaining sidequests, I'll look into it tomorrow). I also won't be discussing story related stuff because I think I'm the first to finish it here and there's no point to write stuff no one will read lol, so I'll wait until the rest finishes to discuss the ending and all that.

So, impressions about the game itself! Combat is better than regular XC2, more dynamic, and I loved the kits they gave to the main protagonists. The switching system is really good overall, but XCX combat is still better.

I don't get why you have to do so many side quests to actually finish the game, since you level up so fast you really don't need the extra experience (I didn't use it since I was consistently beating unique monsters 5 levels ahead of me, so I saw no need to use it). Either way, these sidequests were fantastic, that's why I ended up doing every single one instead of piling them up like in the regular game hahaha. I loved that you get little interactions with the main cast in every secondary mission, and that's thanks to the smaller cast compared to regular XC2.

Speaking of the cast, I loved almost all of them. Addam has such a big presence and it's such a good boy, probably my favourite. Hinoka and Alfonse were pretty good too (I loved Lora's fighting style). As for the blades, I like Mythra more now, she must be protected from bullies, and the rest of blades we already knew grew up on me, but I felt really indifferent with Minoth (his fighting style is an Elma ripoff too lol).

As for presentation, game looks as gorgeous as ever, I think it looks better on portable than the regular game, might be due to the smaller map or something? FPS were also good, except for the final part of the game, at that time it really suffered. And the little new songs that were added were also fantastic.

TLDR: bless MonolithSoft, this was definitely worth the prize. I thought it might be a little longer, but I enjoyed it a lot. Now they better bless us with a sequel in a whole different planet ;)

Alright: either way, I wanted to play Snake today because of how many times you've asked for Snake footage, which I get because of how Nintendo is doing demos this time around. Because of that, I thought I'd do that favor for you as one of my good friends on here. :)

19 hours? Wow - that's like an entire game's worth of content. (maybe not relative to the Xenoblade series, where games can take about 100 hours to complete, but my playthrough for Kingdom Hearts 1 was in the 20-30 hour range) I wasn't aware that there was so much in that DLC.

EDIT: Also, this is post 2112 for me; in honour of that, here's a relevant song.
