At the very least, it's a more rude way of saying it IIRC. In Japanese, there are multiple words that technically mean the same thing, but some are more rude than others. Like when Japanese say "Teme" and it often gets translated to "You *******!" when in reality, it's basically saying, "You!" in a more rude and aggressive way.

re Forging Bonds: If I want the support conversations I can just look them up on the internet. The only really valuable reward to me is the 16,000 feathers you get from it, but that requires getting close to max scores with all four characters, and the randomness of which character you gain points for makes it hard to get your score that high. And you only get a single orb for actually managing to max out a character's score? If they just let you choose which character to put the score for that battle towards, it wouldn't be that bad.

I do think the setup of offering just three difficulty levels, and the battles adapting to the strength of the team you put out, is a good idea, though. I think they should replace the current format of the Training Tower with something similar, or just replace the Training Tower with Forging Bonds permanently - the Training Tower as it is now is just a useless UX mess that's almost completely invalidated by stuff like the Special Training maps.

Three more days until the Nindie direct - what do you want to see?

I'm hoping for updates on No More Heroes and the King Knight DLC for Shovel Knight - maybe even release dates? I wouldn't mind seeing a Metroidvania either, whether it's brand new or being ported to the Switch. (ex. Guacamelee)

Tomorrow I'm trading my GTX 1080 Desktop PC for a GTX 1070 Laptop that has G-Sync and a 120hz screen.

Less power, but being able to have lewds Dolphin Emulator and games wherever I go will more than make up for it.

Heh heh! I am really skilled at these kind of things so don't blame yourself. Not everyone has the raw talent for perception like Smash Nerd does. He must be some kind of prodigy...
