Finished Xenoblade 2's New Game+.

The ending is still terrible.

But now to get a certain Blade and then do all of the new stuff like getting Nia's sundress.

I wouldn't say it's terrible, I only think it's not better than XC1's ending.

Does anyone know enough about Valkyria Chronicles to tell me what's the relation between the first game and the fourth one? The prologue seems to have the same background as 1 except the PoV is on the Federation rather than Gallia so I wonder if this is either the same scenario as the original told from a different perspective or an alternate one in some different timeline or something.

I think they remember him. Considering they were brought back to life in the first place, I think the writers want the most happiest ending without any compromise.

And nah it's still a dumb ending.

VC4 takes place during the same timeframe as the first, it's just a different perspective.

Also, I got a Celica(still no +Atk Hector) so I'm wondering if I should just go and give Leon or the Reinhardt DB4

I'd use her as skill fodder. Death Blow 4 is an insanely good skill for either of those two units.

If she has a good nature though, then I'd keep her. She's about just as good as Ayra and Karla are with her high Attack and Speed with the potential to deliver OHKO blue units.

Honestly I know I'm in the minority with this but I haven't even thought about spending orbs on CYL2, I got my free Celica, fed her to Cherche, and I'm perfectly content. I think last year's CYL designs were cooler and I'm still saving for Saber anyways. I think from all my stashes I should have at least 700 orbs now.

You don't even get double the orbs, you just get the same amount of orbs but sooner. It's two orbs per day for the first week only, instead of one orb per day for the duration of the event.

I want a Celica to keep, but I'm also going to pull one to feed to Leon. Waiting to see if I get her from the banner before going for the free pull. I got Veronica too, which is cool, that's my second most wanted done with.

Forging Bonds being based on RNG and the rewards just not being worth it is what kills it for me. I really couldn't care less about those support convos.
Also, yeah, I'll just give DB4 to Leon but I'll wait until I'm sure that glitch is fixed.
