Yeah, I try not to be too negative but Ted has been becoming increasingly hard to swallow these days and I watch a lot less BrainScratch because of him. Which is sad because I like the others.

He's the perfect caricature of the hipster nerd stereotype who thinks he always knows what's right, right down to being a Nintendo-only gamer until the other guys made him play other games for commentaries.

His voice is also really grating, especially since he raises it a lot in commentaries.

I’ll defend Ted on a number of things, because at times I do think can be a little too harsh on him.

Still, there’s no arguing that Ted has his faults, and when he does get bad he does get pretty bad.

He mainly has a problem with how he presents himself and his opinions. Such as the case in the Sonic Mania Plus play through or this recent Twitter fiasco.

Wii games still work at least, as those links all lead to an external forum. Just got Mario Kart Wii myself to make sure.

Portal ROMS is a good alternative I would recommend, though you need a torrent client like uTorrent. Just got Path of Radiance off of there and I've used them in the past.

I don't honestly pick up a lot of Wii ROMs - for reasons I only half comprehend, the games I really enjoy digging into skip 7th gen, being almost entirely between 1-6 and 8+. But I had so much trouble the one time I did want one - granted, it was UFC Trainer; who besides me even owns a copy of that? - that I'll probably fire up an account and keep it in mind.

Portal I'll investigate later tonight. Got at least one in mind I'd like to locate.

Just got myself M!Grima today in FEH

Turns out he's +Atk -Spd, so I appear to have gotten one of his best natures. I'll gladly take it.

I also managed to get Octopath Traveler for my birthday yesterday and decided to buy Warioware Gold today. They're both pretty fun, but I doubt I'll get around to playing them any time soon.

He's been adapted to a Smash-esque formula more than once. So moveset potential isn't even a concern.

Sure he'd break the convention of only video game characters, but he's more iconic than the majority of characters in Smash and he fits in with Nintendo characters more obviously than someone like Snake.

Plus he would make waves and draw a lot of eyes to the game. He would do nothing but good for the game.

I'm not legit expecting him.

I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised at this point if he did show up.

So far, some of Ultimate's reveals have been about breaking expectations and giving us characters we thought would never happen (Daisy, K. Rool, Ridley, Chrom and Dark Samus) due to either lost relevance, size memes or whatever else.

Breaking the "video game only" rule as the finale would be absolute insanity, yeah, but what a way it would be to end it.

I still think it won't happen though, but if Sakura does break that one rule, the only real candidates that deserve it are Mickey Mouse and Goku.

Doing the same thing with my Jakob, mainly because

1. Blade tomes break the game when a non-infantry mage use one, and I got Armor Lyn.
2. Jakob is built with the ability to be one heck of a wall that can survive almost everything, meaning he's the most reliable one to give the buffer role to.
