The new Fire Emblem Heroes banner has been revealed. The focus for this Seasonal is the Japanese Summer Festival (or in Fire Emblem's case, the Hoshidan Summer Festival), and it features Ryoma (no surprise), Xander (no surprise), Elincia, and Micaiah! All four of them are infantry dancers.

I also just realized something: this banner marks the debut of colored daggers! Elincia and Ryoma are our first colored dagger units, being green dagger and blue dagger respectively.

Loki also randomly shows up in one of the maps for this paralogue. What the heck is Loki doing in a seasonal paralogue?

Colored Daggers? Huh, that's an interesting choice bet one of them's going to the next Legendary Hero.

Anyway, nice to see Elincia and Micaiah get some love. Elincia is one of my favorite characters from the Radiance saga and Micaiah is pretty neat, so I'm glad they got some seasonals for themselves. Also, Xander looks hilarious dancing like that, I wouldn't mind pulling him just for that.

I am aware that the Ultimate thread is making a big deal. At the very least, it has not been majorly spoiled over here and there are some users who come to this thread only rather than the Smash Ultimate thread. So, let's try to be generous to the users that come here and don't go to the Ultimate thread and give them the bliss of not being spoiled.

At the very least, there are people who don't want to be spoiled and it hasn't even gotten to that notoriety here compared to the Smash Ultimate thread, so can we actually be a good sport here and be nice to the ones who don't want to be spoiled? Like at the very least, we can say, "If you wish to know who the leaked character is, go to the Smash Ultmate thread." I'm aware leaks get notoriety fast to everywhere, but that doesn't mean it's okay to still spread it like everybody knows it and spoil the people trying to wait their own time in anticipation.

It doesn't matter if some of the community here are/were part of a VIP group of leak discussion. The thread is no longer private and the people here are different now. If you want a place to discuss leaks with reckless abandon, you can form a private Discord or something. Which would probably be more practical considering Smashboards always ****s the bed in these situations anyway.

If y'all really want this thread to encourage spoiling things - no, making spoiling things a rule - make the thread title communicate that. Hell, have spoiler tags disabled in this thread.

Yeah, but last time I checked, not everybody who comes here is from the leaks group. And Shiny's post was deliberately intentional in response to what me and praline asked Zinith about his post. That Smilie at the end of his post does not help his case.

That would be true if the "leak" itself was genuine and straightforward in what it meant. While the fiasco 30 minutes ago was a heavy hitter, it doesn't completely, 100% prove Vergeben correct, nor does it 100% prove Simon's in the game. It only proves that Castlevania tracks are in. It could mean Castlevania is just getting a nod, it doesn't mean it'll get a substantial amount of recognition.

It's not a spoiler. It's a ****ing leak, and a Smash one at that. We have no idea if it's truly what we think it means, or something else entirely.

B.) It's not even confirmed true, and the instant someone is confirmed tomorrow this thread would be talking about it without spoilering it.

Don't try to twist definitions.

A leak is information revealed before it was intended (or information that was never intended to be revealed). Finding out about something before you had the chance to experience it yourself is being spoiled on the surprise it may have had. Leaks are spoilers.

Regardless of what the leak amounts to (the music leak, I'm not talking about specific forum "leaks" here or anything), it's still not fair to spoil it especially before it's even officially revealed. At least give people a chance to discover it themselves.
