Man I used 14 cores on Zeke and got 14 commons... I had to use 2 overdrives so he’d have 3 rare blades...

Funnily enough, the first time I pulled for Blades on Zeke, I managed to get 2 rare blades in only 4 or 5 common core crystals (specifically Agate and Percival, although I later used an overdrive protocol on the latter and moved them to Morag since tanks work better on her than on Zeke).

So it appears that our luck was opposite when it comes to Zeke.

Yeah the one you get in chapter 2... I think... and his quest is probably the best overall in my opinion. Both story and objectives wise, a bit bumped is that it is in Tantal... Also Dahlia's quest is also mostly involved in this area/kingdom, but her quest is slightly annoying to complete.

I don't watch MHA but it doesn't change the fact this puts a huge smile on my face. Mechanica is one of two of my most fave ARMS characters (other is Min Min) and this outfit swap with her and Uraraka works so darn well to the point it's adorable.

As for BINGO, I usually only do those for E3 with a few exceptions so don't expect one from me (plus I don't have enough time or mood if I wanted to for this Direct).

I'm very sure Sakurai's just tired. I mean, the guy hardly gets a break and has hurt himself while working. I'm pretty sure anybody working non-stop would get red eyes eventually too.

I'll give you the first two paragraphs.

Former is a result of a disjointed narrative that allows the players to do whatever at their leisure, and I feel like it'd still be served by closing in a bit on the player's heels and giving them a bit of a sense of urgency. Or, alternately, to show the world more as locked in a stasis than at eminent threat of destruction, and have Link go about freeing it. It's a pain in the **** to theorize alternate possibilities that would properly mesh, but I feel there were better options to explore that would have explained, perhaps even embraced, the generally relaxed attitude towards everything else.

Latter, I'm inclined to both agree and disagree with. I like the characters and dialogue we get, generally speaking, except for the quips in a Divine Beast. Anyone tied to the main story that we meet in person - as opposed to the Champions, from flashback - was pretty good. But even those, and leagues more the remaining characters, could have been made a great deal more three-dimensional. I think I posted some kind of alternate take for the Champions once that fleshed them a bit, would've basically swapped dialogue for the already useless notes about how many switches remain in each beast, and would've taken a similar amount of dev time. But I'm willing to acknowledge the rest of the world would've taken time away from polishing the engine, mechanics, shrines, and environments that really made BotW what it was. Wouldn't go so far as to call it a necessary sacrifice - would call it understood.

Final paragraph I disagree on. Exploration was always exciting for me through my playtime, and I was always finding interesting bits and secrets. But perhaps that's because I walked into each area expecting to see cool and new things, and triumph over the environment in interesting ways - and in those aspects, I was pleasantly rewarded nine times out of ten. If I was rewarded with goods or tools as well so be it, but the journey was in many ways enough for me. Now if you were more geared towards seeking quest rewards, yeah, you didn't get much. But that seems to have been a mostly deliberate choice, making the journey the reward rather than some chest at the end, and I'm personally fine with it. Understand where you're coming from, respect the opinion, but I don't share it myself.

Anyway. That's my two. Won't begrudge you your distaste either way; at least we seem to mostly be on the same page about areas for improvement.

Symptoms match either a cold or a minor sinus infection. Lean more towards former than latter, but it's a bit hard to say. But since chemo wrecks immune systems amongst everything else it wrecks - and hers is pretty compromised as it is - I can't afford risks.

So instead of being there with her the weekend before **** hits fan, celebrating the anniversary of a thing she's admitted has kept her going through all this...I'm stuck here in my computer chair, faffing about on the internet, cradling rolls of toilet paper and a box of Zicam swabs whose expiry date I'm pretending is an unfortunate typo, wishing I could at least be arsed to go out and grab some cough drops and Taco Bell.

I say this is the funny bit.

But I ain't what you'd call amused by it.

After watching gamexplains video , I feel an echos segment is possible. If that happens I bet we see isabelle, dark Samus and Chrom. Any 3rd party echos if they happen would be separate trailers imo

I wouldn't put much into Sakurai claiming to have red eyes from being tired. He probably is just that, tired, given Japanese work culture. Plus, Sakurai isn't Ed Boon. I doubt he'd add a cryptic hint in the form of a tweet. If this does allude to something/someone, though, the only characters I can think of would be King K. Rool, Ashley, or possibly Simon Belmont. The latter since vampires are often associated with red eyes.

As for the date, it it peculiar, but I still wouldn't put much into it. A date is a date. They could've opted for 8/8/18 because it sounded good or was easy to remember. If it did allude to something/someone, it'd be for Octolings or Heihachi. I'd be fine with the former, but wouldn't be for the latter.
