Anyone can be given a moveset, even a tetris block as all it takes is some creativity. I am more likely to believe that Sakurai most likely opted for Simon than Bomberman for a second Konami rep than refusing B-Man for a lack of moveset options.

I believe its most likely fake, but up until the last section it all makes good enough sense and has some research put into it.

The waluigi part really kills things though imo. The Paper Mario and Bandanna dee part also drag it down imo.

I started liking Bakugo after the All Might fight, then he just kept growing more and more on me as he developed.

Well I mean, he mostly likes villains from his favorite list. Funny thing is that Dabi is a Stain fan.

I like Stain a lot, but we know he's mostly full of crap when we see the type of man Iida's brother is, he does the right thing and doesn't do it for the fame and glory. He has a point that many heroes are vain and care about fame and money, but his standards are also unreasonably high for a ****ing murderer.

I want to see Iida get his salty runback later on in the series. I mean, he won the last time, with help. But you get what I mean.

Because despite the fact that many people had given up on him(me included to some extent), Ridley was still a really popular character. The fact that he seemed unlikely would bring some attention if it turned out to be true.

Or somehow, footage not used for promotion was seen by someone who wasn't suppose to see it, and it contained Ridley.

Duck Hunt also had a Duck, and was a Light Gun representative. He had more than "bombs" to go on. He didn't have a great lot, sure, but it's not a good comparison. Little Mac would be a better one, really.

I'd like Bomberman to be playable too, but making him feel fun is not super easy. Also, doesn't Super Smash Flash 2 have a lot less attacks than the regular Smash series?

Since the project is so big with so many people to confer with outside of the project, we were very cautious about what information we gave out. We took a number of precautionary measures: we opted against setting up displays, and we avoided printed materials. All we had was an enormous screen that showed nothing until the day of the announcement.


Even if the words “Everyone is Here” had leaked, everything would have been ruined. The reason those Nintendo staff members were cheering is because they had no idea what was coming. Even within the company, many people didn’t know about the project: Smash was of the utmost secrecy.


That’s why I felt so relieved once the presentation went live: it was one less thing for me to worry about.

Of course then again there was the MasterofHyrule leak of Battlefield and the Smash props at E3 that turned out to be true so there's a possibility Verg could have heard from that same source.
