Wow, while I knew the series was planning on bringing back Darkwing Duck, I didn't expect them to bring back Don Karnage considering unlike the former Talespin and Ducktales aren't that linked together. Still, it's good to see him and I hope it paves the way for some other well loved Disney Afternoon characters to appear in the show.

Also, good to see Magica De Spell finally making her debut, it looks like she may serve as a finale for the season.
A lot of Disney Afternoon shows were off the air by the time I started watching (and remebering) TV, so I lack familiarity with Don and Talespin (though I know it was based around Jungle Book characters) .....but I'm also at least a bit of Disney nerd, so seeing them bring back older, rather obscure characters like this is still really satisfying for me. Plus the character himself seems pretty cool; I look forward to his episode. A bit surprising to hear Jim Cummings isn't reprising him like he is for Darkwing Duck, though. DuckTales does now seem to be bringing back a lot of older characters (even the other two members of The Three Caballeros are set to appear in Season 2) especially Disney Afternoon ones so who knows? Maybe we'll see some Chip 'n Dale Rescue Ranger characters make an appearance. I did get to watch that show for a while, haha.

Magica's been around since early on, but stuck sealed in a shadow form. Her new design look awesome. They've been building her up all season, and I think she is definitely going to be the main villain of the season finale. No telling what her full power is gonna be like, though I've heard she's supposed to be immensely powerful, especially when compared to the original version of the character from the original DuckTales.

Yeah, sounds good. I fell in love with Tennant after finishing the 10th Doctor's character arc of Doctor Who, and he's a wonderful actor. I've also enjoyed potentially his 2nd most famous role, which is his role of Detective-Inspector Alec Hardy from Broadchurch. The 10th Doctor will always be his most beloved character probably, but Alec Hardy is a very, very wonderfully written character. He's also done well as Barty Crouch Jr from Harry Potter and Peter Carlisle from Blackpool, and I kinda wanna watch Jessica Jones and DuckTales as well just to see him as Purple Man and Scrooge, respectively. I know there are more roles that he's done, but Tennant...is amazing from what I've seen of him. He's definitely one of my favorite actors.

With Doctor Who, seasons 1-5 are, for the most part, amazing. Season 2 has some bumps, but overall the first five seasons of modern Who are beautiful. But, season 6 can be really...weird. If you can get past season 6 and its awkward storytelling, then seasons 7-10 should be a relative breeze. Seasons 7-10 are pretty decent, but the best chunk of seasons from Modern Who imo is seasons 1-5. I will say though, season 11 is shaping up to be really nice, since Chris Chibnall is the new show runner, and he did an excellent job with Broadchurch. All 3 seasons of Broadchurch got near-perfect critical scores when released, so I have faith that season 11 will be a top tier season for the show, or at the very least a good one.
I've seen Tennant in some episodes of Doctor Who and also the Goblet of Fire. He's definitely a great actor with a great personality. They made the right choice with casting him as Scrooge in the reboot.

I'll probably be mainly watching Modern Who, but the old interests me as well. I'm glad to hear it's going so well, lately!

I'm not completely sure why, but this post made the Jaws theme suddenly start playing in my head.

Its just the build up song to the krabby patty except a pikachu is voicing it.
Oh I was thinking more among the lines of horror music but that's a much more pleasant alternative. :)

Sorry for this seemingly stupid tag, but I am sorry for being such a jerk to you lately.

I will try really hard again like I did before that drama.

I hope my cats not sick. She's been acting funny today.

Maybe I've just been paying too much attention to her actions. IDK

Like, she keeps wanting to go into the garage. But it's boiling out there.

But she did used to do that all the time and I didn't worry about it.

I was pretty lucky with Talespin myself as while I wasn't watching TV much during their prime, it was on reruns when I was growing up, so I was able to watch it (and some other Disney Afternoon shows) before it was pulled for newer cartoons. I remember the show being a lot of fun and I have fond memories of it and Don Karnage in particular, so seeing him in the preview was like a burst of nostalgia for me. I'm also hoping they bring back Chip 'n Dale as I have similar memories for it as I do Talespin, and both shows would mesh well together thanks to their similar themes along with the size difference between the casts making for some fun scenarios for the show to play off of.

Ah, that gives me even more reason to catch up with the show as I missed those episodes. Nice to hear that they're building her up as she was a major villain in the original series, so having her positioned to be a major final villain for the season would be a perfect way to give the character her big showcase.

I know this is gonna sound a bit kiss-***, but one of the few people here who I think is actually "cool" is Fal, and that's because they were one of the few people who helped me become a better user here. Like good lord, I was a little prick back in the day.

This guy has something to say to you!
I have not been with Fal that much because I have not been here during when he was very active.
I like Drs. Fal as well, he posts some good Tweets.
And as for Fal, they're definitely cool. They know a crazy number of languages and IIRC translate Japan-only games into Hindi as a personal hobby.
Fal is best Waifu and you know it.
Awww you guys. Thank you so much. :)

I don't know if anyone has this or not, but I always get nervous every time I get quoted like I'm being taken to task. I'm like "Oh dear, what did I say this time?" Does anyone else have that feeling?

It more makes me think someone actually cared enough about my post to properly quote it. Like someone actually stopped, read it, thought up a response, and posted it.

I can't believe the Overwatch devs released a hero that is both fun and not overwhelmingly powerful.
After the disasters that were Moira and Brigitte I didn't think it was possible.

Are you going to swallow me in my sleep?
Call it a hunch but I don't think anything signaled by the Jaws theme can really eat you in your sleep, given that Jaws is a shark and all.
Unless your bed is out in the middle of the ocean, in which case you have quite a few more problems to worry about.

Or if you're dealing with one of those mystical land sharks, or worse yet, loan sharks

Am I a mean person when someone goes against me? Just curious.

Also, I forgot to show you this all.
There was a problem fetching the tweet

I usually grab for my nearest brass knuckles and my dear barbed wire baseball bat and call my fellows over to back me up for a good old fashioned thrashing. But usually I don’t have to resort to such matters when I read the quoted message as nine times out of ten; it’s usually inncocent. So my fellows and I usually head back home without any bloodshed dreaming for the day we can actually use our brass knuckles and barbed wire bats.

I may be overly concerned about my cat because my dog just died. But at the same time, I've been concerned for years because of her age.

I dunno. Maybe if she still acts funny tomorrow I'll just see if I can get a vet appointment.

I don't even know if she's acting funny or if I'm just being overly concerned.
