If DBFZ gets a season 2, Videl, Roshi, and Janemba are the characters I'm hoping for. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Jiren/Kefla/Toppo were added as well.

Great Saiyaman would be cool too, so I can stay posing on these ******. Not to mention the meme teams you could make.

I still can’t believe base Goku and base Vegeta are being added to FighterZ.
I remember when it was leaked, back when the game first came out, I was little disappointed because, it would've been nice to give some more characters some love, like it would be hilarious if Hercule got in, for instance. Though its not all sour, the spirit bomb attack is nice and if you remember from the leak...
We are getting Cooler and Android 17 after this. 17 is the best after all.

Saw that earlier, should have mentioned it. I'm guessing it's his level 1, but like Gohan's install, it can potentially use multiple meters to get the version you want. Maybe? I wonder if he'll still have a Kamehameha? I mean he should at least. Wouldn't mind a ton of normals from his fight with Piccolo.
He indeed does have it as a level 1.

It's so weird that Arcsys just spams DLC up the *** with most of their recent titles. Not really a problem, but it's offputting to me.
I look at it like this: At least they're not doing full $60 disc updates to their games that only amounted to 3 characters + some balance changes anymore.

True, but there's a lot of padder filling you could use to make DLC. I mean you got uhhh

ginyu goku
goku from journey to the west

Was ****ing around with some picture editing software and made this. I’m pretty proud of it.

A part of me wants to replay Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 in preparation for Kingdom Hearts 3. The other part knows that I don't have the time or drive to replay the games, especially 2. For as much of a great game it is, it has a lot of pacing problems, not to mention its when the series jumps the shark and becomes a pain to remember the details.

Maybe I should just watch a playthrough on youtube and enjoy someone's commentary along with it.

bosses that get pissed and go all out when they are. about to die need to go away from rpgs
I'm assuming you're are talking about the Warmaster boss, I hate than final rush of attacks, you're already a tough cookie already, you don't need to slice and dice me to oblivion!
I also hate bosses in other Jrpgs like Dragon Quest that clears all status affects. "I spent 5 turns buffing up, and debuffing you, and you're just going to throw out a disruptive wave?!"

Still deciding which controller I'll use on the Switch's DBFZ open beta: Either the Switch Pro Controller or the Pokkén Fight Pad.
  • I absolutely love the Pro Controller but I sometimes I think I like fight pads better for fighting games
  • Pokkén Fight Pad felt great when I tried that BlazBlue beta awhile back but said controller lacks Home and Capture buttons
  • What I'd really like to use is my Mortal Kombat X fight pad (shown below) that I use on Xbox fighting games but I'm on the fence of getting an adapter to get it to work on the Switch

Hmm...

Yeah, both are based off their appearance from the Saiyan Saga.

Oh! That change things a bit; in makes sense in hindsight; but he'll probably have a lot of funny dialogue with his gigantic ego

I am speechless...

The third Knight of the Round Table fight is against Tristan, the Archer of the group. His grail buff is that all classes do half damage against him except for Sabers, and he does super effective damage against all the classes. This basically means he turns your Saber servants into a double-edged sword, or to put in Fate series terms, your Sabers become Berserkers.

This was the fight I was dreading the most because of the high risk in this fight, but it turned out to be the easiest of the Knight of the Round Table fights thus far.

The first fight against him has you battle three Archer Enforcer Knights before facing Tristan. The Enforcer Knights are the usual Archers, so obviously, you don't want to start with Sabers. Rather, you want to use a Lancer or two to sweep them all away while putting your Sabers in the backup slot to preserve them for their battle with Tristan. Ideally, you want to use a Lancer servant that can quickly fire off an AoE NP on the Archer Enforcer Knights so that you can quickly get to Tristan and then let your Saber servants take it from there.

Unfortunately, I did not have an AoE Lancer, so I had to resort to using both my Cu Chulainn and my Scathach for the first part of the fight. Waver was my support unit, while Mash, Caesar (because he is the only Saber on my party that as a single-target NP), and Mordred were my backup units.

The first part of the battle involved firing Scathach's NP from the get-go to kill one of the Enforcer Knights, then have her heavily damage another with her other attacks. She and Cu Chulainn made quick work on the rest of the Enforcer Knights.

Then it was time to face Tristan. And you won't believe I'm saying this, but it's true: I managed to beat Tristan in this fight without having to use any of my Sabers.

Yep, you heard that right. Scathach and Cu Chulainn were my main attackers for this fight. I didn't have to resort to using Caesar and Mordred at all.

Scathach fired her NP on Tristan early on for some decent damage. When Tristan heavily damaged Waver, I used the Battle Suit to switch him with Mash as the substitute support unit while withstanding Tristan's attacks. Mash even managed to pull off her NP to give the Defense buffs to Cu Chulainn and Scathach. She also gave Cu Chulainn Invincibility for a turn, and it just so happened Tristan attacked him with his NP. It was there I learned Tristan's NP has Sure Hit, so Cu Chulainn wouldn't have survived even with his Evasion: the Invincibility from Mash did the trick.

There came a critical point in the battle where Tristan used his Evasion skill right before the turn he would fire his NP again. With my Stun skill from the Battle suit already used and no way to grant Invincibility, I had to use Scathach's NP again just to stun him instead just so I could give Cu Chulainn an extra turn to build up his NP meter. The plan worked as Scathach's skills were restored next turn and Waver returned after Mash went down prior. Scathach boosted Cu Chulainn's Quick performance with her 2nd skill, and Waver boosted Cu Chulainn's NP meter to max. Cu Chulainn then fired his NP and delivered 110,881 damage despite Tristan being resistant to Lancers and still having about 100,000 HP left, finishing Tristan off. Holy cow, that was such an amazing moment!

After that, there was a second battle with Tristan. This time, it's just one fight with him alone, and it doesn't have two phases either (which the 2nd Mordred battle had). He also has about 420,000 HP for this fight compared to the first battle where he had about 270,000 HP.

Now that I didn't have to worry about any Archer Enforcer Knights this time, I switched back to my Saber team (it has Siegfried, Caesar, and Waver in the main slot with Mordred, Mash, and Heracles as the back units) that didn't need to start with any Lancers. I initially went into the fight forgetting to equip Kaleidoscope to Caesar, so I had to restart just to do it. On the first turn, Caesar fired his NP with the help of Waver's support and Kaleidoscope to deal some hefty damage onto Tristan while accumulating lots of Critical Stars because of the other two Quick cards he used as well. Unfortunately, Tristan immediately used his Evade skill after, so hitting Tristan with critical hits went nowhere. However, I did manage to quickly wrack up Caesar's NP meter again thanks to the criticals. Sadly, Caesar went down very quickly to Tristan despite the help from Waver's buffs.

Mordred then arrived into the fight, and Siegfried damaged Tristan with four attacks. Mordred was also able to fire her NP rather quickly thanks to her Imaginary Element equipped along with the combination of Secreet of Pedigree and Waver's first skill. This allowed her to wear down Tristan quite a bit. When Tristan fired his NP again, I switched Waver with Mash so that she could absorb it with her Taunt and Invincibility buffs combined. She managed to fire her NP the turn after with the help of several attacks prior to Tristan's NP. Now with hefty Defense buffs, Siegfried also fired his NP along with the help of two Busters attacks to really beat Tristan down. On the next turn, I stunned Tristan with the battle suit while Mordred followed up with four attacks. She then finished the battle with a few more attacks.

In all, this turned out to be the easiest out of all the Knight of the Round Table battles thus far despite me thinking this would be the hardest going into it. I am still yet to fight Sir Lancelot though, but I have a feeling that's coming up very soon.

And RIP Arash. Damn that scene when he fired his self-sacrificial NP shortly after the Tristan battle was both awesome and sad to watch, and having this audio play in the background only added to the scene. He was such a bro too!:(

I just now noticed Dabi in One's Justice has his season 2 clothes instead of his long coat from the Training Camp arc and onwards and that bothers me because hmm long coat badass and hot
There’s one thing you can spoil for me. Can eventually you remove your protagonist from your active party? If yes when is it?
You can after finishing their story

Don't forget to watch/play the non-numbered KH games, like Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, Re:Coded, and Dream Drop Distance. You'll be confused if you don't.

Man, Forging Bonds is such a lame event, the rewards are only slightly better than grinding the Hard levels of the Training Tower.

It's been said before but the handheld KH games being canon is the worst thing about the franchise's lore. They're not even that good of games either, ranging from mediocre to just bad.
Looking at you, Birth by Sleep.
