I see the /s but it got me thinking anyway.

Just us'd be weird, obviously, but if we could somehow organize something like a NZ Chili's meetup...

Don't see it ever happening but what the hell, that sounds alright.
Man that would be awkward as hell if I met any of you guys IRL.

"Hey aren't you that Ura guy from Smash boards?"

*sweats nervously*

R.Kelly made a 19 MINUTE song about the sexual allegations that were made on him.

It's called "I Admit It". If you've ever watched the Boondocks, you know rappers snitch on themselves all the time.

The more I stare at Ura's avatar, the more it unsettles me.
Why would I walk to Florida?
Just pretend. -_-
Unless you were nuts or liked hiking a lot, than usually people would drive or take a plane to Florida.

I mean, a NZ would be super impossible because we all live in different points of the globe.
It's sad, I miss you

It would be pretty funny though

I bet the first thing people would say to me at a NZ meet up is "wow Ura you don't look anything like I envisioned you to be".

I know Squids taste better than Octopuses
They actually are lol.

And here's Pearl's Splatfest victory dance:

This is gonna be nice for edit.

And the Splatoon 2 Octo Album has that Pearl mansion interview, now with translate:
Q10:Tell us about something that annoys you.

Pearl:You know the automatic doors at The Shoal never opens when it's just me? What's up with that, do they know who I am?

Dude man Pearl, man dude... that often happens to me as well.

And Pearl's best gift is the chance to meet Marina, ok.
My older sister called me the biggest weeb.
....I do not know how I feel about this....
That's probably because she doesn't even know what exactly is a weeb lol.

And that's okay, my two sis are weebs as well. One of them even cosplay Thraja and other hot anime girls that I might know or not know, and play Fate Grand Order daily, man what a nightmare.
Just got back from Ant-Man and The Wasp. It's alright, had plenty of laughs and had some moments I cried.
Even though not likely, bu I kind of want to watch Ant-man and the Wasp tomorrow...
Crunchii does these cool 3D edits of some songs
[Headphones reccomended]
Some of the 3D edit were meh... while some I'm really feelin it, no pun intended.
Malos is Blue Hunter Z
No Malos is Malos lol.
Rocket Raccoon is based off Rocket Raccoon from Marvel. :p
Space Stranger is definitely the Dirty Dan of Smash Bros. and he is a big Toy Story fan.
Malos had a swole avatar with DESPACITO on it.

Man... I really hate how the update removed so much of the colors.
Speaking of despacito...

Can they just stop making Madarin version of almost every fad/popular songs?
Actually not really... most popular Korean songs often have Mandarin version, like Nobody.

But nevertheless, there was a Chinese song called Xiao-ping-kuo (Little Apple) that was extremely popular that there was Korean version, it was actually better in my opinion.

Bought Splatoon 2 having a hard time with motion controls even after an hour...

But I know if I get used to y and X axis being split between 2 inputs ( why the hell is this a thing?) It would be better than just using the control stick.

"The chance to meet Marina"

MY HEART IS MELTING SO MUCH >_<
Pearl is the best girl confirmed lol.
And you can notice Marina is just sitting in the background like an old granny... hm...
In Splatoon 2 who uses motion controls and who doesn't?

Which one should I use?
Depends on which that suits you best lol.

Now this is just getting silly

Have you ever seen Monolithsoft issuing apologies when XC2 becomes the best selling Xenoblade game?lol Then again, I'm expecting Octopath Traveler to outsell XC2 very soon.

This just shows how Square Enix often underestimated their games that are not Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest.

Welp, finally back from that gaming convention I went. I'm preparing a post about my experience in it, but decided to post more Smash thoughts separately.

I played Smash Ultimate! (Part 2)

Saturday was rough, there were lots of people so I had to wait really long to play. Either way, I played with Pika on a doubles match and we got bodied. Even though Pika nair and dair looks super strong, the opponents were Link and Zelda, and both of them seemed to outrange Pika, making it rather difficult to get into. And my teammate (Ice Climbers) killed me with their final Smash lol.

I played another doubles match, this time with Snake. He was so much fun, I could feel the power on every hit! F-Smash was kinda useless though, so damn slow, f-tilt was the way to go always. But down-b shenanigans were awesome, and his down throw was great for my partner to punish. Really enjoyed him.

On Sunday played a couple more matches. Tried Pokémon trainer (just to play Squirtle lol) and he was great! Really fast, and there were lots of moves that felt different from Brawl. Sadly I didn't enjoy Ivysaur at all, I got killed due to his lackluster recovery. Couldn't care less about Charizard so I didn't use him hahahaha.

Next I tried Ridley! He didn't feel like a heavy weight at all, and that side-b is so damn satisfying. I got comboed a lot, but he was powerful enough to fight back easily, specially in the air I felt. Sadly down B seems useless in 4 player Smash, too much nonsense to try it lol.

The following match I used Ice Climbers. I... didn't like them. Nana feels rather useless now, and they got separated stupidly easy. Grabs now are nearly useless due to Nana just taunting when you grab lol. Don't think I'll use them in the final game.

And one thing I thought I wouldn't ever do, I picked Zelda next game because she's so damn CUTE! And she also feels so much better compared to her other iterations (not saying much since she's one of my least favourite characters to play as). Din's fire felt actually useful now! Really fast, and didn't leave her on free fall state! New jab is awesome, and the new phantom was also rather interesting. Very pleasantly surprised with her.

My last Smash game was with none other than the blue blur himself, Sonic the hedgehog. He's still stupid good, so damn fast both in the air and in the ground, and his aerials feel better than ever. That match had a funny moment when I picked a slow-time clock, so I was going so fast hitting everyone while they just scrambled trying to avoid me hahaha.

Overall I think it's definitely an improvement over Smash 4, at least on the way it feels, so much smoother and fast. My biggest issue with the game was the 4 player madness. I'm not the kind of guy going everywhere "NO ITEMS FOX ONLY FINAL DESTINATION", I do enjoy some casual games every now and then. However this Smash seemed that it had way too much. It's not good when in all of the games I had to ask "Where the hell am I" due to all the items and explosions on screen. That's why the 1 on 1 match I played was the most enjoyable because it was more manageable. Of course when I get the game I'm sure I will be able to turn the item drop rate, so this is a non-issue, but it's frustrating that the experience could have been better if they toned down the items.

The Nintendo Staff was rather fun too. I had some cool moments talking with them, asking for clues for potential newcomers (I even got to play with two of them, and I bodied them lol).

That's my Smash Ultimate experience! Now that I'm finally back I should be decently available here now, since I've missed the last 30 pages or so. As I said before, I'll post my thoughts on the whole event later, because it might end up being rather long.

Those free 20 orbs went smoothly down the drain.

I have 180. None of those are spent using real money and I was at 0 after the Tempest Trials banner because I wanted Hardin.
Now I have 148 from Tempest Trails.
I have been saving my orbs for Hardin as well. :p

Well I am glad you are having fun with the game!
Ultimate definitely looks better than Smash 4.
The first three I am going to try is Ridley, Marth and Sonic if I ever find a demo somewhere.

Well, I'm happy to know you enjoyed playing the game! :)

Is Ivysaur's recovery really that lackluster to use, even with the removal of edge hogging? I really do want him to be better this time around (and I feel he is in most places, it's just the recovery that we have to question).

As for the Ice Climbers... why do I have a feeling they might be low tier this time around because of the changes to Nana? Of course, I understand why they did it as people (including me) hated wobbling and chain grabbing in Melee and Brawl respectively, but I'm sure there's a way to balance around it.

Edge hogging or not doesn't matter when your recovery has no range.

Low tier is a bit much.

If desynching them is still possible, they'll remain a notable threat.

I could of sworn Vine Whip got a range increase... maybe it's just me then.

I do have to wonder if Sakurai would allow the Ice Climbers to desynch at this point...

I am so happy that defensive play got nerfed in Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Like spamming roll is worse which is really nice.

Air dodges are hugely nerfed and they make recovery worse, so that is really good.

Also everyone's recovery is slightly worse now. That is better.
