I did what @Shishœ told me and downloaded the second demo from Octopath traveler, and you were totally right, it does feel different, so many quality of life improvements! Time for thoughts about Octopath demo? Yep.

I started with Prim as I said and in the 3 hours I managed to get Olberic and Tressa. I got to where Cyrus is, but didn't have enough time to begin his part of the story. But so far so good! Tressa's story is the least interesting as of now, but both Prim and Olberic has some stuff I'm wondering, so no complaints on that aspect. Visual presentation is gourgeous, as everyone knows, and I'm also a fan of the voice acting. Special mention to the soundtrack, it's fantastic, already have the battle theme stuck in my head hahaha.

On terms of gameplay, they did change the stun order as Shish told me, but this actually opens many layers of strategy that I rather enjoyed. You have to decide to attack someone trying to break him so he doesn't attack, so the targets of your attacks depend on many factors that I have to consider. Do I attack now to avoid him getting his attack, should I just pass the turn to get a boost on a following turn, should I simply defend this...? And the skills are also really interesting, already found some sinergy with Prim and Olberic, since the second can provoke enemies and Prim can boost his defense I can have him tanking the hell out of everyone without worrying too much. I have little experience with RPG's so I don't know how deep it will go, but I was having fun (Sad that the 3 hours limit hit me lol).

One question I have for those who have played the demo, because I'm legit curious if this was a bug or was intentionally put in the game. The amount of experience characters receive are really low, bosses give like 40 experience or so, right? Well, I fought an enemy who was like a rat with a sack on his back, I only dealt 1 damage to him, and I was like "How the hell do I kill him?". But he died after dealing 4 damage to him. The surprise was when the result screen appeared and the level-up sound went off like crazy with me wondering what the hell was happening, just to realize I got 1000 experience points from that battle. Prim and Olberic leveled up 10 times in one combat. Has this happened to any of you guys? The rest of the demo felt really easy because those 2 did insane amounts of damage (Olberic already has more than 1000 health lol), so I'm wondering if I'm just lucky or what the hell happened.

So yeah, I was already going to buy it, but this made me even more excited! I really can't wait to have this game on my hands, it feels like one of those great games on the system, really hoping it sells well.

I only managed to do Therion, Ophilia and H'aanit so I guess the average would be 1 hours for each chapter(though I did just kind of mess around with Therion more than anyone). Though I do plan on starting new games so I at least see each character's first chapter.

And I'm not sure about that enemy, either it's a rare encounter, you accidentally stepped in a Peninsula of Power or the enemy is just straight up bugged. Maybe look it up online? I know the EXP is supposed to be on the low end, Therion is Lv10 and needs 99 exp to get to the next level.

started the day off with another artwork made by cori

which i find incredibly hilaroius, for the record coricus made a sculpture of herself, making a sculpture of the glitched out sculputre that uni traded for components, so we have a sculpture made by the sculpturer who sculputed themselves to making a sculpture of a sculpture that theyd don't even know what they sculpture, sculpture-ception and the crazy **** that happens in this game

its even masterwork which makes this even more hilarious

anyway after that continuing the same monotonous tasks that are to beseech us while we wait for us to be raided, nothing interesting to talk about as its all still underway so heres a few interesting things

whelp now we don't have to worry about overheatiing or spoiled food, we can keep the place cool and have a freezer up and running, neat

which speaking of which i actuallly checked out a few of our relationships

literallly everyone was asking out cori lol, everyone but praline myself and uni wanted to get together with coricus pawn, even further back logs show shish and shiny in there asking :V funny how things worked out as shes well liked by everyone

while cori is well liked praline absolutely hates shishoe for some reason, and its well turned back they keep insulting eachother and trying to ruin eachothers days, not sure how that rivalry formed but its not going away :V

ya thats techincally our raid, basically its self replicating bugs and hives that spawn units set to kill and take over the whole map if we don't stop it :V and the insects are basically giant radioactive and mutated bugs that can cleave off limbs and organs with ease....sooooooo.....this is a problem :x

can't deal with it right now, literally happened at sleeping time and i don't want to screw with peoples schedules, but will have to send the whole group (minus shiny) at it to deal with it, as the longer this lasts the worst it'll get, i doubt we'll lose someone here but someone could be crippled, and after we deal with this we got about a 2-5 day grace period so we can go accomplish our raiding. boring parts over guys, were about to excite into the fun and risky stuff

I'm really sure Therion is probably the best character to start with iverall, not only does stealing the enitre first Town get you stacked for early game, SP Thief is ****ing bonkers. A two-hit dagger skill when most skills just hit once that heals your own SP by 5% of damage dealt. You'd think 5% isn't much but with how high this skill's damage is, you usually end up just getting back what you spent immediatelly, so you can just spam it without end.
If an enemy is weak against daggers, it's a death sentence to them.

The Universe was fine already so Thanos did something really wrong.

Don't forget Therion is the only one that can open purple chests, so having him around means you don't have to backtrack in dungeons.

I'm going to choose someone else though, most likely Olberic, due to Patrick Seitz.

Also, red's should be the best friend, not Uni, since me and red should be pun buddies.

Also, I tried to tame a cobra. Am I going to start a Snake show? :v

could be but to be honest your probably screwed :V

well ya don't hate him either, the social points kinda decreased happens in time natural course

you've also tried to tame tortoises cause i want a turtle farm for eggs, but thats not been going so well, but ya you've been trying to tame exotic animals with little luck, alpacs are mutiplying though
