But here's my wish list for Gen 8:

1) A dolphin (the fact it didn't happened in a generation that took place completely in a group of tropical islands baffled me)

2) A turkey

3) Whatever the heck the Poké Maniac trainer was cosplaying as in HeartGold & SoulSilver:


Plus that "leak" has reminded me that I want a platypus too.

It's funny.

I like cats, so Litten should have been my choice from the getgo, but the way I saw it, I was already going to have the Sun Lion God thing on my team, a flaming tiger would have been redundant.

....and then Incineroar was leaked, and the rest is history. :V

....as well as Solgaleo not being Fire type, meaning both would be fine. :p

I was on Team Popplio intially because "I usually picked the water starters" (because 3/6 = most appearantly, though Totodile might've been my favorite Johto starter back then. Lol Totodile) but then Decidueye was leaked, and the rest is history.

I was #TeamLitten day one. I'm a huge cat person and Litten resembling my current pet made it even better.

I wasn't terribly on board with Incineroar from a first glance but I love wrestling and cats so he grew on me pretty quickly.

While we're on the topic of starters, remember when we all speculated the starters would have different final evolutions based on the version because of a Corocoro mistranslation? Good times.

Off-topic, but I hate pokemon sizes.
4.5 m is actually not a lot for a mighty orca like Kyogre.
In comparison, an Orca is about 7.9 meters.

Nope. No power source, just the tracks and you have a cart you can build and use and it goes automatically

I was on team litten as well. Then when I got Sum and Moon, I wondered traded it for a Fletchling for some reason, but it turns out that the level was slightly above the average ( It did not disobey me and the game was still not that easy ).

I thought it was not good, but I got a better pokemon in return. I thought it was bad. At the same time, I feel like an idiot for removing my starter that my man gave to me as a gift.
It was kind of worth it though and I plan never to wondertrade my starter again.
Speaking of starters, anyone shiny hunting? I am shiny hunting for a shiny starter in Heart Gold and Diamond.

Hilariously, I don't even know most of the roles in Mafia and I'm already trying to think of basics for a Kid Icarus Mafia.

I should probably look through the Mafias that already occurred or something.

More leaked starters?

Well they look better than the last trio at least...
Platypus looks interesting, Water/Poison would be the obvious typing...

Rabbit could go so many ways...Fairy, Psychic, and (god forbid) fighting (some Hares are pretty damn nasty fyi) I could possibly see it evolve into a Kangaroo pokemon tend to follow different rules for evolution than real life animals, but a fire type kangaroo could make for an interesting starter...

A lot of people are calling it a lemur, but I'd actually lean closer to a Bush Baby due to its big eyes and smaller body...it sort of comes across as a grass primate version of Froakie in a way...Psychic could be an interesting second typing, though a lot of pokemon primates do end up with fightibg typing as well...

If real this could be the first starter trio that are all mammals...

The water starter has been the best looking starter every gen.

My 2 cents:
Blastoise is pretty cool.
Feraligatr is incredibly boring.
Swampert is amazing.
Empoleon is okay.
Samurott is awesome.
Greninja is the best starter period.
Primarina is pretty. but Decidueye tho.
Overall I do tend to like the water starters (There are more water starters that I like than the other 2 types), but they don't always end up being my favorites.
