If you try to base the argument on the "rules of writing," you run into a different kind of stalemate, because based on those "rules of writing," Goku wins. That's Goku's thing. He wins.

Goku is the prototypical shounen protagonist, and every single fight he has ever been in has proceeded the same way. No matter the odds, no matter how much he gets his *** beat during or along the way, no matter what brand new powerup he needs to pull out of thin air to do it, in the end, he wins.

Same thing with Saitama, he is designed to win and be the most powerful as well.

The Falchion gave a lot of really weird powers/strengths via sealing feats, but Goddess Yune also has some weird triangle powerscaling from Ashunera. Whether it's Duma's creating a continent or Ashunera's flooding continents, it's all up to interpretation to who's stronger.

But without the plot device swords, Ike sweeps him.
