Echo Fighters can't have completely different moves, though they can have different taunts, Final Smashes, and idle animations. Not sure on running animations). On the other hand, having a second Charizard(like Mega Charizard X) could be interesting to capture his old moveset.

I don't think Fyre Festival can ever be topped tbh. You know about people stealing each other's food, forced to camp, raiding each other, etc.? I think Crash would be dlc at this point.
I've pretty much always gathered he'd be best saved for DLC. I will be very surprised if Crash makes the main roster for Smash.

Sakurai wanted to put him in Brawl, he got a mii costume in 4 Ultimate is gonna probably only add characters fans want and Sakurai has acknowledged that fans want him in.
Because he considered him since Brawl, perhaps?
1: Because Sakurai has wanted/considered him for Brawl and Smash 4 and at least managed to get a costume of him.
I don't know if you made a decision yet, but I just thought I'd note something Swamp, with the digital versions you have, well not having a physical copy of those games, falls into a legal grey area because you can't show proof that the digital copies are just back ups.
Sakurai noted in one of his interviews he considered Geno for Brawl, here Source Gaming has the Interview where Sakurai said it:
