Ahhh... I really miss spending all afternoon and all the way into the next morning being a complete and utter psychopath back in highschool. Still have the character sheet and everything saved.

Eventually we incorporated a Saiyan-Gnoll lore element and I was able to use Kaioken which is why I had a power level lmao. Plus I ended up acquiring an army that is documented down to the monster. And the ridiculous amount of items is from all of my stealing, and a lot of it was "literally" shoved up my character's ass loooool. Wow those games were just ridiculous...

Also pardon the incredibly bad handwriting, it's painful to look at even for me. And I erased my current hit points so much I rubbed a hole into the paper. ...I died a few times I think. Our DM was a merciful god, even to someone whose alignment is "Greedy *******".

I have a hard time taking a stance against emulators. While I think piracy hurts companies and is a scummy way to play the stuff you like, I have pirated games before and will not deny it.

Hell, I pirated Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga and loved it. I pirated SF3rd Strike because there was no Japanese Arcade machine for me to buy.

At least with that last on I can buy it for the Switch.

But anyway, my point is if I were to say "don't pirate that you rapscallion!" I'd be a hypocrite. So I just shut up and don't download stuff I can buy.

I don't know, kind of a gray area, if only because some games don't get re-releases. I think it makes sense if its an older game too. I haven't emulated anything yet myself though.

That said, if the game you are emulating is something you already paid for, I don't think its a big deal. Like, I own Shantae on the Virtual Console on my 3DS, so emulating it wouldn't be too weird as I already paid for it.
