Ain't laziness anymore, it's just a lot of haphazardly scattered Starbound lore to unpack.

Probably have to bull**** my way through it for now and rewrite it later.

well your goal was to just get thoughts down on paper, hell my first week entry was techincally a bull, as i stretched 500 words to 1760 thanks to my massive derp, took an hour so just give a little dedication, i'm just here to help and remind it cause ya need a little push :3

It's been a fun ride, but I am here to announce that within the next month (~before E3 hits most likely) the site will be going through a new upgrade that will eliminate the Social Group section of Smashboards.

Every thread within the various Groups will be sent to the archive boards so that no one's posting data will be deleted. If there are threads one would like to be saved please tag/PM me so that I may move them to the proper board.

Despite being dead, I'd imagine moving some of the threads from the Leak/Rumor Group to the Wii U/3DS board for easy access would make the most sense.

Heh. Of course I'd learn how to use it a month before its demise.

Well then. I'm guessing the writing challenge and its associated threads would probably merge into Creative Minds.

even had our nice little community calle dbombers, made a nice discord thread thats still used today

fourm games is a pretty alright place, most of the bombers there are kinda dead nowadays though, moved elsewhere or just been to busy, so we should get plenty of peace and quiet

unless ya mean decisive games witch is different not sure how that'll work out

Was about to post my final record for Punch Out wii but it didnt save when i took the photo with my phone for some reason. . . i guess that's what i get for constantly cheating by resetting.


Oh well. Punch Out Wii rocketed up the list of my favorite wii games. May be my favorite non-smash wii game. Was an amazing playthrough.

On to replaying Bayonetta 1 in the hopes if liking it this time.

Nintendo's Switch Online info just went up on their Japanese website.

Still waiting on the English translation but from what I've gathered, it makes mention of cloud saves and 10 free NES games.

... I'm starting to think the Virtual Console isn't coming back.

Hey so I just watched the two new Steven Universe episodes and the first one is neat it has Lapis after all but the second one had me like

I'm just like, so ****ing perplexed
Because this was a huge theory in the past but got dismissed for being too obvious and not really making any sense due to the info we had but **** they actually pulled it perfectly, I didn't feel cheated at all, which is a problem a lot of plot twists like this can fall into, the whole talk with Pearl and Rose before she changed her form back was just so good and a perfect setup for what we were about to see

This is why Pearl doesn't like shapeshifting
This is why Steven had those visions
This is why Rose's shield could protect them from the Diamond's light

This is so ****ing game changing though, like, you can't really look at past episodes the same way with this knowledge.

I can’t believe they pulled off that twist either, but it was also a theory that could have definitely worked but a lot was put forth against it.

I always found it to be a good theory and I really like how they pulled off this outcome.

Pearl sending Steven there was great and made for a nice moment that she was willing to trust Steven enough to let him know the truth.

How convient for Garnet and amethyst to be there lol.

I wonder why sapphire feels betrayed though. And where will they go from here? This changes blue and yellow diamonds roles as well as changing bismuth, jasper and probably a lot more . I’m also guessing Steven can’t turn into pink anymore so I wonder what will happen.

It was a great episode though. I liked the lapis one but am pretty angry she still ran after all that and that Steven didn’t realize the vision was in the past and tell her. Also how will she react I wonder to the fact he’s pink diamond technically. Or even peridot who wasn’t here at the end.

The show is about to get very interesting.

OOT:
1. The time traveling was interesting.
2. I like that it exists.
3. The music is memorable.
4. I like some of the characters.
5. Ganondorf has a mullet.


MM:
1. The time mechanic was interesting.
2. I enjoyed collecting the masks.
3. I like how there was (essentially) 4 playable characters.
4. I like the creepy atmosphere of the entire game.
5. The master sword not being in was nice.

WW:
1. The islands are all great and I love exploring everything
2. Sailing through the Great Sea is the most enjoyable transportation in a Zelda game.
3. This game introduced ****ing Tetra and Medli.
4. The game is gorgeous and still looks fantastic.
5. The music is easily the best

TP:
1. I liked playing as Wolf Link.
2. I liked that they tried making a darker game.
3. Midna was kinda cool.
4. The dungeons were cool.
5. I liked the ball and chain weapon and spinner

SS:
1. I liked that they tried something different with the game.
2. I like some of the monster designs.
3. I liked some of the boss fights
4. I liked some of the characters.
5. I liked Zelda’s design.

BOTW:
1. I like how different it is from the older Zelda games.
2. I like the new characters characters introduced with it.
3. I enjoyed the lore of the game.
4. I love how much development Zelda gets.
5. I enjoyed the part where you get into the robot things.

Basically wanted to work out a fanfic and realized I knew next to nothing about the biology, history, or culture of the non-human races.

Worked my way through codecs and storyline and wikis and forums and still knew next to nothing.

Some of that's Chucklefish's fault as playability has always been their focus over lore. I don't fault that, it just really ****s me right now.

So my choice, such as it is, looks to be one of the following:

• Play one character of each race for something like 20 hours of heavy exploration a pop and take every note I can get.
• Slowly work my way through the unpacked assets or find a script that'll extract all the examination quips from all the objects, compile it together with all the dialogue, and take every note I can get
• Bull**** bull**** bull**** bull**** bull**** cow patties bull****.

And of the three I know which one would happen tonight.

ah, well honestly, starbound lore is extremely workable, they give you a blank idea of background, and then from there, you work with anything :V

its honestly flexible, in my opinion just spend like 15-30 minutes top understanding the idea and background between the races, then make up your own **** about them, because there isn't anything really sediment there

and they expand universe wide, not all have the same history

its made to make up your own **** dude

At the end of the episode garnet gets angry and says that she lied and betrayed us and infused. Ruby seemed to understand but sapphire runs off into the teleporter and vanishes.

Which if those big leaks are anything to go by then we have a slight idea where that’s going

Also: thank arceus that cartoonetwork didn’t put he show on another damn hiatus. New episodes arrive in the summer thankfully
