Not gonna lie, it honestly seems like you're inventing reasons as to why Decidueye isn't a worthy pick in an attempt to praise Incineroar.

And yet I don't even think Incineroar is the most likely option. I feel Marshadow, Tapu Koko, and Mimikyu still have higher chances. And if Necrozma shows up in the film like the upcoming TCG packs seem to imply? Then it will be higher on my list as well!
Hell, the only time I even mentioned Incineroar this entire conversation was listing it among many others that Decidueye has serious competition with.

Also, not even saying Decidueye isn't worthy. Not once have I mentioned anything about "worthiness". For any of the Pokémon I listed. Because honestly? "Worthiness" or a lack thereof doesn't mean a damn thing in the long run for the Pokémon choice. I'm only applying logic and reasoning in terms of their chances.

Watch ProJared's video. It's honestly a mediocre game, really. It's basically Dragon Warrior 1 in 3D that's more focused on magic, but has no equipment or money. On the other hand, it has very unique enemy designs(and not that many palette swaps compared to some rpg's), a very robust battle system(strategy wins way more than powerhousing), and good music. The graphics are a bit low polygon-wise, but do their job overall. Game has only one playable character, so balance can be an issue at times. If you have an n64, it's fairly cheap to buy(less than a normal VC price).

If you do play it, key suggestion is to get Water to 7 for Healing Level 1 and go from there. If you have any questions(assuming you try it out), just give me a tagging. Or if you want to talk again on Discord, contact me there. And hey, if you don't feel like trying it out? Nothing wrong with that either.

As a fan of it, I criticize the game's issues too. I can understand why some disliked it. I think some are a little unfair to it, but even I barely give it a 3/10 myself.

You're just being overly pedantic at this point if you're getting hung up on "worthy." I think it was pretty clear what I meant considering you listed Decidueye after like ten other Alola Pokémon...

I'm not part of some "Decidueye Defense Squad." Decidueye doesn't need one. You're honestly the only person I've seen who takes issue with Decidueye being seen as a viable contender.

I'm sorry, what? Do you play Overwatch, you wouldn't be saying any of this if you did. You don't need to be good to unlock cosmetics, you just need to play, becoming a top 500 player isn't going to net you any more points than being the lowest in bronze. Blizzard made sure to design the game so that everyone could enjoy it at every skill level.

I do have to give credit that you get more level faster if you receive more medals.

You do level up faster if you do better though, that's what I meant.

You get the stuff faster if you play well, which is an incentive to some. Again, feedback loop.

Besides, we're only using Overwatch as an example because you brought it up. I myself am not that interested in Overwatch either and haven't bought it yet because I also don't want it at full price (though I'd pay more for it than ARMS), but if you want my examples, there is the likes of Uncharted 4 for shooters, or for a more direct comparison for ARMS, Dissidia: Final Fantasy (which is also a 3D arena brawler with customisation mechanics).

Not saying that you are wrong, but playing better doesn't mean getting more eliminations, but also doing things you should do. Such as staying objective point, push payload, and how many damage you give or heal.
With that said you can receive lootboxes faster if you level up faster (Otherwise just use real cash to buy one, or use your in game currency). What kind of stuff you get is completely random. You might have a very small chances to get lootboxes with all Legendary skins. Or if you might just get all sprays or duplicates... Which you will get currency by getting duplicates, but it won't be a lot.
By the way, I do have the game, and it is obviously addictive and I really hope it will come to Switch even though it is unlikely.

Meaningful is a very subjective term when it comes to content that doesn't really do anything. Sure they are cool to look at, but really, what real purpose do they have? They certainly aren't in the same vein as Achievements/Trophies, but they are far from meaningful. I could argue that Gachas and their whole random junk deal is far more meaningful than Overwatch's cosmetics.

It really depends on the cosmetics themselves. Some Overwatch Legendary skins are awesome and popular, whereas some are just plain dumb.

This is why the game is started to become more well known, notably. It's become a bit of a cult classic at this point(not entirely, but it won't really hit that status until it is released officially again in some capacity)

I'll probably try it out, eventually. I've got a bunch of old games I need to try out, and a lot of them are RPGs. You actually move around in the battlefield to dodge enemy attacks, set up perfect positions to launch an attack, so it's still action-based. I've noticed that if you attack from the right angle of the battlefield, it's possible to increase damage, but I can't confirm why it works officially. I remember hitting for over 100 when my usual damage is 90. What's notable(at least in the version I'm playing) is that it wasn't a Critical Hit. If you become experienced enough with Quest, you can play the Japanese version easily. On the other hand, if you know Japanese, that's even easier to do so(I somewhat know it).

It really depends on how well your team did. If you team are all newbies and not doing anything, that is possible. But I don't think that happens a lot.

If you want proof, during the Uprising event, I didn't play the event at all due to busy schedule during April. I just simply bought 23 lootboxes hoping to get all the legendary skins I want. Sadly I only got one of Torb 's skin... And many sprays...
So you can get more stuff by leveling up faster, not really.

For all the Fire Emblem fans here, Ghast Station uploaded a new Support Science video. This one features Eliwood from Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword.

Knowing Ghast, potential language warning.

I'm most likely not going to play Blazing Sword until I beat Echoes and Sacred Stones, so I'm probably not going to watch the whole video right now, but considering there is a good number of people here that played Blazing Sword, I think a lot of you will like this one.

So it seems that Eliwood is commonly criticized for being a bland and generic lord and often overshadowed by Hector and Lyn, so in this video, Ghast argues that Eliwood is under-appreciated and is a very well-written character.

Just curious, what is your opinion of Eliwood prior to watching this video, and did Ghast's analysis changed your opinion of the character in any way?

I will admit, I was one of the people who overlooked him as I just never really paid attention to his story. I did like him enough, and I did enjoy his relationship with Ninian, but ultimately he just ended up being on the pile of "Eh, he's OK" and I never really gave him much thought past that. So after watching this video, I do have to say I appreciate the character a lot more then I gave him credit for. In particular, I do like how much he emphasized how strong the relationship he has with Hector as those two probably have one of the strongest bonds in the franchise in terms of lords, and seeing how it plays off in both the supports and the story itself really does show how much thought was put into them. Same with how he describes his building relationship with Ninian, which I already liked to begin with, but now I'm completely behind their pairing.

So all in all, while he's still probably not my favorite lord, he's more likeable to me now. I already decided I'd play FE7 again later down the road, and this has given me more incentive to do so since it'll give me a chance to see what other little details I've missed about him and the other characters when playing in the past.

Having knowledge of the original(or even a Player's Guide) does well enough. That said, Eltail Monsters is both visually better and has very nice gameplay changes. Vastly better, imo.

Regardless, the game takes a while to start either way, which can be bothersome. I do wish it had a bit more story(like the Gameboy remake, which while still not a super huge story, has way more nonetheless, even with cutscenes).

But yeah, have fun. Kick some bass(there are fish monsters), and blow away enemies with your almighty Wind spells.
