Hey, remember that Metroid 2 fangame that was shut down by Nintendo? Yeah, I think we all remember.
Well, some fan of the game have actually find a way to change the game. One person in particular have implented the "New Games+" idea that was to be in the game in a futur update. (Basically, you can go to any area from the start, you have all power up, every door is unlocked, etc...)
You can check it out here.
'Just wanted to spread this. Because AM2R deserve to be remembered and live on in the heart of fan. (Because it's sure that Nintendo isn't going to do that)

I haven't even played the original, apparently it wasn't that great (at least, according to a friend of mine, who is otherwise a huge EO fan). I'll probably skip this one too, unless it's fixed some of the dumber stuff I've heard about in the original, like panicked allies randomly throwing away their equipment. Soundtrack should be decent, though, if the original is anything to go by.

To counterbalance it, I'll bring back up that I dumped 230 hours into BotW and mention that I thought Hyrule Warriors looked interesting but bought my Wii U too late to get around to getting it.

Of course, depending on what characters they add to Fire Emblem Warriors I might end up getting more out of it than if I'd gotten Hyrule Warriors if I buy it, but you know, if they added BotW Link as crossover FE Warriors DLC for some weird reason or something I don't think I'd complain LOL

Never played the original because I'm not a fan of the Mystery Dungeon series but was it even popular enough to warrant a sequel?

Am I the only one who finds this somewhat disturbing?

I mean, children won't find this appealing, squid kids are literally kids. And that's the boy Squid on top of that. I also don't quite see the humor in that either. There's only one group of people who I can see this sorta thing appealing to, and that's the same crowd drawing all the Squid kid porn, of which I'm certain Nintendo is well aware of. I mean, why have this outside of pandering to that crowd?

Am I alone in this sentiment? Or am I making mountains out of molehills.

And I'm sure some of you will find this ironic considering I was against the censorship of XCX and Fatal Frame, but in those games, you had girls with adult bodies being sexualized. These are literal (well virtual) kids... implied to be around 10, that's a different story, and lines are certainly being crossed here. Even if legal in Jaan, why pander to that crowd at all?

Yes and no, I mean Japan anime often get target for having sexualized child... and to some degree (NSFW) I find it disturbing as well.
And Gamexplain had already notice that poster as well in their Splatoon 2 trailer and tree house gameplay analysis.

They just describe the posters were "odd", and they also implied: "It seems strange at first, but this is an area full of boutiques afterall"
So, even though I do agree that poster is odd but I don't really think it is that inappropriate. So despite I really want to agreed with you, to some degree you are overreacted.
By the way Splatoon was rated E10+, so the sequel might be too. So it's really not much of a surprise if you see that poster and look at the ESRB rating.

Regarding Ever Oasis...the lack of marketing for the game shows that it really isn't a priority for Nintendo, despite being a new IP...but during it's reveal it had generated not a whole lot of interest (BotW could be partly to blame for this since that's mostly what Nitnendo showed during it's reveal)

I can see the appeal for some rpg gamers...even for some Zelda fans as it does give off that vibe in a way, but honestly at this point with a brand new system, new IPs on older systems are almost expected to flop...unless they make a port for the Switch (which I really doubt)...

My own opinion<<, is kind of odd that when other anime/manga does this, they can get away with it. Nintendo, sure often regard as kid-friendly, get thrown over just even a slight bit...
Again, Splatoon, a kiddy game? Yes of course, but it's E10+, I'll just leave it's description on Wikipedia:

What does that say though when all the Inklings have the proportions of kids? Moreover, how do we even know Callie and Marie are actually OLDER than the other Squids, and not just famous?

All this really tells me is that Callie and Marie might also be Squid kids if we go by appearance really.

This song has been filled with the storming feelings of "love" and "revere" from ancient times. Originally, they are cousins born from Calamari County. they sang this music in a Youth Folk-Singing Contest, and caught the eyes of Shy-Ho-Shy, one of the committees. then, they came up to Inkopolis for the dream. Their powerful voice enough to compensate the fault of holding the microphone upside down, and perfect duo although contrary personalities. That has been highly complete from these days. Their earnest hope to sing the memorial music led to make this version. Replacing the shark-skinned taiko drum with a synthesized rhythm, they made a rebirth of this today, too. This unforgettable melody has attracted people in all ages. And, it will continue from now.

"Maritime Memory", it's first time of mastering, shows a new side of them. A mellow ballad sung by them who have cheerful impression. The song can be sung during only seventeen, the time between a girl and a woman. That fragility makes the beauty. By the way, the scat in the middle of this music was sung by a weird old man broke into the recording studio with saying "Though my clothes may be tattered, my heart is pure and nothing escapes my glossy voice.". The stuff tried to drive him away in a hurry, but they realized "It's not so bad. Yes, good" since they listened again after that. So they decided to use him. The interludes making a harmony with Squid Sisters for some reason, gives great relief to their voice. We can feel the breath of Calamari County, a place full of nature through this music. Calling up our something precious.

Songs change with the times, the times change with songs. The times calls idols, then, idols make the times. Someday, we'll hear their song, and look back over the past "now". To share the times, we'll go on singing, dancing, and playing forever and ever. With Squid Sisters.

You know, while the trailer for Justice League seems good enough (then again, Snyder's films have always had good trailers...), one thing really bothers me, and it mainly stems from the fact that they were too quick to do a team up movie.

Mainly, it's the fact that it seems like Cyborg's origin story is being crammed into the film and will be inevitably rushed.

Cyborg's origin is, in my opinion, one of DC's better origin stories, and one that I think could have been a damn good film all on its own. The creation of STAR Labs, Victor's incredibly prosperous time before his accident (being a star athlete), the sheer anguish of Silas Stone at the loss of his wife/Victor's mother, as well as his strained relationship with his son, the accident which nearly killed Victor when Silas was arguably at his most vulnerable, and ending with Victor becoming Cyborg.

A story filled with loss and tragedy when life was at its best so soon beforehand, a promising future torn away before it could begin, and the struggle of Victor being unsure of whether he's more man or machine. That in itself could be great.

Instead we'll probably just get a quick montage and have all emotional impact be ruined. Thanks Snyder. :/

Luckily the only characters I want for Fire Emblem Warriors are Ike and Lyndis and since they are the most popular male and female characters respectively I don't have to worry about them getting in.
