Saying Syrian refugees, the ones who'd GENUINELY need help, should get out of America and go back to Syria is actually pretty racist. If he's talking about freeloaders, then he wouldn't be. But the freeloaders usually go to Europe, demand free televisions, whine that our food isn't spicy enough and text their friends that it's **** here*

*This actually happened in the Netherlands alone. And they're all from the countries without problems

I recommend not throwing around names and labels, in general but also especially regarding people you don't know and because of topics that are incredibly complex with a wide range of various sources of information and experiences that could enlighten you or mislead them. It is this exact culture that has created this supposed "alt-right" movement, and how Trump got where he is. So far, many Americans, other than learning their mistake, have ramped this up now that he's the president. This is a huge misstep, in my opinion of course.

btw, at work there was an article on the wall for Mexico in the newspaper. I saw the 20% import tax which was ****ing stupid as
A: It harmed the healthy business relationship, on top of the planned 'foreign product tax'
B: The products would be more expensive, meaning some people would buy them less often, hurting the companies
C: The 20% import tax is added to the price tag. Meaning in reality, Americans were planned to pay for the bloody wall

Perhaps. I've always seen OW to be more Pixar-esque than anime though. Although, their 2D portraits are very anime. I suppose it just depends on if it's 3D or 2D.

Kinda, Pixar takes from Disney, and Disney is what inspired the modern anime style. In fact, you can often see the two of then influencing each other a lot. Draw Elsa in 2D and she can very well be in an anime of the season.

I've also always felt like between the two arcsys fighters, Guilty Gear was the least weeby. I'm not entirely sure what it is though.

Guilty Gear used to parody 90s anime and had strong heavy metal influences in visual design, with chains, and demons and stuff like that everywhere. Hell, Baiken is a reference to Himura Kenshin, and you have the obligatory effeminate villain typical of the 90s in the form of Testament.

Blazblue is meant to parody modern anime, that's why half the cast is waifus with Ragna in a sort of harem almost.

Modern GG kinda changed its design a lot though. It's become very blended with the BB style for some reason and has lost a lot of its edge. I still like it, but it's not the same.

It's funny you mention that Trigun character being the inspiration for the first design, he's the one I first thought of with his look and being a priest. It's hard to rate the character without a more detailed design like the other have, both of which I really like. Especially the concept of the fused red riding hood. In fact, I'd suggest potentially doing more twists or opposites of well known stories without, as you said with the girl, actually using that story--just as a homage in design, which will go a long way to make them memorable and interesting while also leaving room for you to bring in your own ideas. I'll have to sit on that concept myself some time. As an aside, I like your futuristic Link clone lol. Don't be too afraid to have a character look similar to a popular video game character. So long as he doesn't come off as a knock-off or straight rip-off, it can actually serve in your favor in my opinion, for the same reason that paying homage can, except even better because the associated media is relevant.

Yeah, I do want him to hark back to Link a bit, but no so much where it feels like a Sonic OC level of rip off, lol. I'll have to do some tweaking with his face. His clothes and concept are fine. It's just the face needs some changes. Perhaps the skin tone? We'll see. I'll play around with it some. He's got a Twin sister btw, who's kind of a stand user summoner/duo character of sorts. Kinda like Bayonetta's Wicked Weaves blended with Rosa and Luma. However, I gotta totally rework her design, as I've decided I wanted her to have a more Hindu-inspired look to her. Especially since I also decided I want her stand-thing to be inspired by the Avalokitesvara, like Netero in HxH. But yeah, I'll have to work on the two in tandem a bit.

Yeah, I'm trying to think of notable folklore that would make cool characters. I'm certainly doing the Ice Queen, for the same reasons you already said. Plus, in concept, a character with Ice powers could be pretty cool.

-A 9 tailed Kitsune (think of the greek myth of the wolf and the fox. Fox needs to have white fur? Probably a magical fox girl btw.

-Quadrupedal Dog-Beast thing (think the Beast Trio in Pokemon)

Concept behind her is that she's a beatdown character like C.Falcon. Hits hard, hits fast. The idea was the she could inflate her muscles by pumping extra blood into them a la Luffy Gear 4th (well, G4 blended with G2), for extra impact if you timed a button press right at the impact of her attack.

I need to mod her design quite a bit though, as it was originally made more cartoony like that in response to the Wavedash Games dudes. And I was trying to make it less anime to appeal to them. It was meant to be a response to their design of that one black girl they made (I forget her name.. Ashani?), to try and gain them as a client and do some character designs for them, as I didn't like their art direction. Funny thing is, I never sent this in to them as then I got busy with the Trump comic and stuff, and a few weeks later, they also came out with a yellow orc girl, but with a totally different concept, lol (great minds think alike?). Anyway, this one is quite old, and my art has improved considerably since then, and since I've decided to make this my own thing, it's high time for an update on this. Same design, but more detail, and changes to her costume

Regardless, we've got about 2 years before we take on this project. So I have plenty of time to come up with an awesome roster, and really work on my art. Sakuga is a thing I'll definitely need to pick up, as that's the key to doing what Murata does in OPM. Really, the Trump comic helps me gain not only notoriety, but also gives me time to continue to improve, as I'm not quite at the level I wanna be for TS. But with 2 years of drawing 8-12 hours a day every day... I think I'll get there. And if TS has One Punch Man tier art, with the concept of what it is, it'll catch fire, I'm sure of it. And if does... well, there's the Smash game. That's how I see it. Build the brand first, then the game. People will wanna play the game of the game in the manga, especially if it's a Smash-like.

I didn't watch the whole 5 hours of the stream he was in, so I could be wrong about this, but from my understanding he was trying to say that Syria's government and their citizens should work to make their country a better place to live in, and not "get dem foreigners out muh damn country".

There is a difference between groups and Europe has been FLOODED with refugees. It's a fact that the people who complained about not having free TVs came from countries in which there IS no war, no crisis, anything. Refugee camps have also noted some things which were off. One group of people they had, Marrokan and Tunesian people being in there, weren't happy with the food, to which they said they didn't like it and threw it away. Every other group wolfed it down kept thanking the staff, while some even cleaned their refugee camps out of gratitude. Granted, this is one specific camp from the Netherlands and even then, the story is a few years old, but that IS remarkable

I think I see the issue. When I say 'group' I mean a group of like 20 people, maximum. In Dutch, words have an added prefix of sorts to indicate a very small amount
