I don't think the Switch is getting a virtual console cause there's already a bunch of neo geo games and they were part of the vc.

I'm pretty sure I just found confirmation of BotW's timeline placement...
Unlocking Link's Reclaimed Memory #1...Link is having a knighting ceremony of sorts and Zelda says the following:
"Whether skies abound, adrift in time, or steeped in the burning embers of twilight..."

This quote, at least to me, quite obviously references three Zelda games being Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess...
Which would indeed place BotW in the Child Timeline sometime after Twilight Princess...specifically I'm thinking after Four Swords Adventures at the end of the timeline...

I still want to do more exploring especially in Gerudo Desert (to see if there's any remains or mention of the Arbiter's Grounds and/or the Mirror of Twilight) before I can say for sure but to me this does serve as a confirmation of sorts...

I am trying to figure it out on my own, however, so I have been heavily avoiding any spoilers in this regards, so hold off on telling me any more information that wasn't revealed yet...but to me this does pretty confirm its placement, along with all the similar architecture found resembling that of Twilight Princess....

Love how Crenel Mountain, Trillby highlands and I think Minish Woods from the Minish Cap (sort of) returned in this game for example.

Why would that mean there's no VC? It just means Neo-Geo won't be one of the systems

The process of making a book cover is hard.
Tough pick between Nowi and Gregor. Questionable design aside, I enjoyed Nori's character as someone who loves to play but does so because she wants to enjoy as much as she can with those that she will outlive, and she has the fear of outliving everyone. Also helps that she's a monstrous unit and did really well for me in both of my playthroughs. Then there's Grego, who was one of the most lovable personalities in the game and some awesome support conversations.

I'll just go with Nowi for now.

And my boy Vaike won? Heck yeah, Teach is ready to roll!

I heard something about another Injustice character or two might be shown off next week. I think there's a good chance that'll be either Green Arrow or Flash if they plan on showing characters that were confirmed but not seen totally playable.

Though it could be another two unknown fighters though. Either way, that leak list from a while ago seems more and more legit.

Here's a smash related question, since we're a smash forum and we're finally talking about smash again...

What character would you want in smash, what would they be like and what content would they have?

These are the rules
1. It can be anyone, as long as they have appeared in a video game or at least be video game related.(Like R.O.B. or Wreck it Ralph.) And yes, I do mean any person/character to appear in a game. So Goldberg would be fine, but Whoopi Goldber wouldn't. :p

2. The character has to have a full smash moveset, no characters with one move or anything like that. Be creative if you have to.

3. Don't worry about balance, but at the same time don't do something like make the character always invincible , infinite recovery(even if they had it in their game.), or every move instakills. Make it a character that's fightable. For instance, as broken as Meta Knight was im brawl, he was still a defeatable character.

Sorry for wrighting so much, these are really basic rules, but I wanted to clarify. I'll post my character in a bit, I hope at least a few people have fun out if this.

There's a new character in MK8Deluxe.

But the character is basically there so the player can brag and say "Look at how big my balls are!" Which is alright I guess.

I made a moveset for PMD2 Grovyle a few years back, but it's not entirely complete.

This is the most important rule though and I almost forgot it:

4. They can't be from a franchise with playable characters already in smash. However, it can be a character from a franchise that only has an assist trophy/item/stage

There, that should narrow things down. I can't believe I forgot that considering it was the whole idea. :p

(Like Diddy's but you can't charge it only direction)

That narrows it somewhat, haha. Or at least it gets rid of Chrom and Decidueye's movesets I made. :p

I have several in various stages of completion.
Full sets I've made: Chrom, Decidueye, Henry Fleming, Starfy, Muddy Mole

Characters with full Specials lists and a playstyle description, but without going into detail on their specific normals, smashes, aerials, etc.: Inkling, Frogger, Crash Bandicoot, Lara Croft, Papyrus

And then I made some movesets for a Disney Smash Bros. concept I was toying with, with Mickey, Captain America, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Elsa in the former group, and Rapunzel, Woody and Buzz, Peter Pan, and Quasimodo in the latter. :p

I now have a new dream for Smash 4 for Switch.

4 new characters.

Announced in 2 awesome trailers.

First trailer?
Opens on a mountain as someone descends down from it. We are then greeted by the smiling faces of The Ice Climbers as they lear ahead at a maze in front of them. They head towards it after getting their title card. Insert gameplay of them in the battle as if they never left.

Suddenly an explosion sets off and Nana is sent flying off the combat stage. Her assailant drops down and it is revealed the maze that they approached was none other than a Bomberman world. Bomberman proceeds to get a splash card and gameplay against the Climbers and other characters already announced.

The screen on this trailer comes to black. Only for the blackness to be interrupted by the Metal Gear Solid alert sound. We open back up on CGI of Snake crouched on the battle field watching the chaos between the Climbers and Bomberman. He proceeds to give out an iconic ''Kept you waiting huh." before leaping into the batttle himself and getting a gameplay reveal.

Second trailer?
We open a shopping district in a CGI land. Callie and Marie are just staying fresh as ****. Shopping and being entertained when paint splashes on the shop window and the sisters turn to see that the Inklings have started yet another small war in the center of the shopping district, they walk off, but totally miss the fact that Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy are fighting Mario and Donkey Kong.

Cue splash titles for the Inklings (One for both the boy and girl.) Gameplay reveals for them happen and show off their customization options and such. Cue back to CGI where Mario and Donkey Kong are completely defeated and covered in paint. Inkling Boy and Girl high five one another.

I don't mind personally, I'm just saying gold colored things in games are usually for showy reasons.

Well, that additional rule rather narrows down my choices, so no Shadow or Waluigi.

Instead, I gotta think outside the box.

So I guess I'm going with.....



I haven't made a full moveset for him yet (so I may be breaking rule 2 a bit), but I already had some ideas for a fighting style.

He would be someone who definitely has the tools to get the kill, but if you try to Leroy Jenkins it, you're going to fail miserably. Just like how he (and the player) functions in his home game, the aim of this character is to outwit the opponent with mindgames and baits and to punish them for their mistakes, arguably moreso than any currently existing Smash fighter. You have to think strategically while wearing down your opponent and disorienting them with Phantom hallucinations and RWQFSFASXC (Shadow Bonnie) to make them easier for you to KO.

I'll eventually draft up a complete moveset, but I don't really have the time right now.

As for content, there's a stage based off Fazbear's Fright to serve as his home turf (or another location to represent more than just FNAF3) and possible trophies of other animatronics throughout the series for sure, but when it comes to music....that may be more difficult outside of tracks from FNAF World.
Original tracks would probably have to be made in the same vein as the main songs for Flat Zone and Flat Zone 2. This is because the FNAF series doesn't really utilize much in the way of tracks as there's supposed to be a particular kind of ambience to the games that music doesn't really work with alongside the gameplay. Though I suppose getting permission from certain artists such as Aviators, The Living Tombstone, DAGames, MondoPony, etc. to use their some of their fan music is theoretically possible.

I remember doing some in the past but I don't remember who they were besides Wonder-Red and Mimikyu so I'll just do something new instead and totally unbiased on the character that inspired my username

The Protector from Etrian Odyssey aka Shisho


Overview: If any character from EO would be choosen, it'd have to be her, being the mascot of the series and all.
There have been others(Gunner, Sovereign, Fortress and Fencer, all white blue-eyed blonde girls. I think I'm seeing a pattern here) and even Medic(or Medi-Ko as she's known in the Explorer's Log) but Shisho was the cover girl for the first two games, is constantly chosen for merch and even has a DLC portrait in EOV.
The Protectors play the role of tanks in the games they appear, so naturally, she'd have a more defensive based moveset.

Costumes:
Shisho might be the main one but there are other Protectors so they deserve some recognition

For the other four, there are many choices, they could either be based on the Etrian Mystery Dungeon skins for the first two

(Unfortunately, the other two don't show up in EMD)
Or be skins based off the other tank classes:
Hoplite

Fortress

Dragoon

(For the sake of consistency, the shield would always be the same format as Shisho's)

Stats:
Speed: Slow(slower than Robin)
Weight: Heavyweight
Fall speed: Fast(about the same as Ganondorf)
Jump: Low(a little more than Little Mac's)

Passive traits: much like Link's Shield, the Protector's will block projectiles if they're standing still. Also, their shield will receive less damage if they're attacked from the front.
All attacks that use the shield will act like Palutena's and will block any ajd all hitboxes

Moveset:
Normals
Jab: two horizontal slashes followed by a vertical one
S-Tilt: a sword stab
D-Tilt: stabs the tip of the shield downwards
U-Tilt: bashes the shield upwards
Dash Attack: Shield Rush-using the tip of the shield, she does a punching motion with it while sliding forward a bit

Aerials
NAir: puts the shield in front of her creating a sex kick hitbox
FAir: slashes in a vertical arch forward
BAir: bashes the shield backwards
DAir: performs an overhead slash while entering a stall-then-fall state
UAir: performs a slow circular half-moon slash over her

Smash Attacks
Side Smash: Shield Smite-Tackles while bashing her shield in front of her.
Down Smash: smashes the shield downwards in front of her using both hands
Up Smash: stabs upwards with her sword

Grab: grabs using her right hand
Pummel: knees with her right leg
FThrow: kicks the opponent with her right leg
BThrow: holds them with both hands before turning back and throwing them away
DThrow: falls with her shield over the opponent
UThrow: stabs them before throwing them upwards

Specials
Neutral Special: Fire/Ice/Volt Jar-Releases one of the items in front of her, always following that order. Once released, they'll go diagonally down like Robin's Arcfire.
Fire Jar will launch a fireball and explode once touching the ground or an opponent, releasing smaller fire balls around randomly. Ice Jar will release an icicle spear that'll freeze at higher percentages and keep going even after connecting. Volt Jar will release a thunderbolt that stays for a split second, stunning anyone hit by it.

Side Special: Elemental Wall-The Protector will put her shield forward and reflect or block any projectile that has Fire, Ice or Electric properties. Projectiles like Lucas's PK Freeze will simply be blocked while ones Mario'a Fireballs will be reflected.

Down Special: Parry-It's a counter, do I have to explain it in detail?

Up Special: Ariadne Thread-While grounded, marks a spot in the ground. In the air, warps her back to the spot marked. The mark will disappear after the move is used again.

Final Smash: F.O.E.!
A giant "!" appears in the middle of the stage and a fomidable orange enemy...

If Bomberman gets in to Smash I want his alternates to be the other Bombers, but that might be a bit too much, considering Pac Man didn't get Ms. Pacman as an alt. And Bomberman would have two female alternates.

Man this new Grand Hero battle is pretty hard on Lunatic, hopefully I can beat it somehow.

Here's a smash related question, since we're a smash forum and we're finally talking about smash again...

What character would you want in smash, what would they be like and what content would they have?

These are the rules
1. It can be anyone, as long as they have appeared in a video game or at least be video game related.(Like R.O.B. or Wreck it Ralph.) And yes, I do mean any person/character to appear in a game. So Goldberg would be fine, but Whoopi Goldber wouldn't. :p

2. The character has to have a full smash moveset, no characters with one move or anything like that. Be creative if you have to.

3. Don't worry about balance, but at the same time don't do something like make the character always invincible , infinite recovery(even if they had it in their game.), or every move instakills. Make it a character that's fightable. For instance, as broken as Meta Knight was im brawl, he was still a defeatable character.

Sorry for wrighting so much, these are really basic rules, but I wanted to clarify. I'll post my character in a bit, I hope at least a few people have fun out if this.

First Appearence: Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

(A) Combo: a triple strike with a Steel Axe ending with a dual attack combining the Steel Axe with Steel Dagger. Two normal side swings with the axe ending with a cross swing with both weapons.

(A)>: A thrusting stab with a Steel Dagger with a sweet spot on tip.

(A)v: A low swing at the feet with the Steel Axe.

(A)^: An arch swing with the Steel Axe, covering a wide range above the Dragonborn.

(A)Dash: A downwards slash with a Steel Axe, equivalent to a Critical Charge (Skyrim).

(A)Air: A quick use of one word in Unrelenting Force to attack on all sides. Has a bit of startup.

(A)>Air: A fast spin strike with a Steel Axe.

(A)vAir: The Dragonborn utilizes the first word in Whirlwind Sprint, Steel Dagger pointed downwards, for a very fast descent attack that can bury enemies underneath or meteor smash aerial foes. Do not use this above pits.

(A)^Air: Casts the Flames spell directly above, which has a high reach but leaves the Dragonborn vulnerable when executing it.

(A)<Air: A backslash with the Steel Dagger, a very fast yet weak attack.

(A)Smash>: A powerful, quick triple hitting dual power attack, just like in Skyrim. If all three attacks land, the final blow will launch the foe even further.

(A)Smashv: Using the first shout in Slow Time, the Dragonborn quickly executes a downwards spin attack with both weapons.

(A)Smash^: The Dragonborn charges a Flames spell with both hands, then let's loose an Impact Flames spell in an arch, blasting airborne targets even furthur away.
Note: All of the Dragonborn's (B) attacks are known as Shouts. All Shout have three Words of Power. As you hold the (B) button, the shout will become stronger. However, utilizing the full shout takes time, as such it leaves you vulnerable. However, these attacks are very powerful at full charge, unrivaled by most other Specials, and as such you must train yourself to find where and when to utilize the full power of a Shout. Some shouts are faster then others. In order from fastest to slowest; Whirlwind Sprint, Dismay, Unrelenting Force and Fire Breath.

(B): Unrelenting Force: A blast of energy that deals very low damage but pushes enemies away.

Fus: A weak blast. Good for quick space clearing. The distance pushed is limited, regardless of the enemy's health.
Ro: Pushes enemies away more so then just Fus, and is now affected by enemy health.
Dah: A powerful blast of energy that can even kill lightweight enemies at low health.

(B)>: Fire Breath: A ball of fire is hurled from the mouth, scorching and blasting multiple enemies away.

Yol: A small ball of fire with minimum explosive radius. Will hurt fairly well.
Toor: The explosive radius and damage is increased, but not by much.
Shul: The blast is now equivelent to the force of a Bob-Omb, blasting away targets unfortunate to be hit.

(B)v: Dismay: A powerful voice that can scare enemies into a state of shock, making them dizzy. Must be on the ground.
Faas: The radius of the shout is very small- touching both sides of the Dragonborn.
Ru: The radius is increased.
Maar: The radius is increased- hitting enemies up to two character slots away.

(B)^: Whirlwind Sprint: In the air, the Dragonborn zooms upwards, knocking away anyone in his way. On the ground, he zooms straight forward until the edge of the stage is met. When charging in the air, the shout slows the Dragonborn's descent for recovery reasons.

Wuld: A small jump from one spot to another. Deals no damage.
Nah: Increased distance and now deals damage.
Kest: Further distance increase as well as increased damage. Buries enemies when run over on the ground and meteor smashed when in the air.

Name: Call Dragon

The Dragonborn uses the Call Dragon shout to summon Odahviing, the dragon who devoted its service to the Dragonborn, who uses a fully powered Fire Breath to burn everything around the Dragonborn, OHKOing anything hit. The dragon then flies off, and the Dragonborn brushes dirt off his shoulder as the Final Smash ends.

I now have a new dream for Smash 4 for Switch.

4 new characters.

Announced in 2 awesome trailers.

First trailer?
Opens on a mountain as someone descends down from it. We are then greeted by the smiling faces of The Ice Climbers as they lear ahead at a maze in front of them. They head towards it after getting their title card. Insert gameplay of them in the battle as if they never left.

Suddenly an explosion sets off and Nana is sent flying off the combat stage. Her assailant drops down and it is revealed the maze that they approached was none other than a Bomberman world. Bomberman proceeds to get a splash card and gameplay against the Climbers and other characters already announced.

The screen on this trailer comes to black. Only for the blackness to be interrupted by the Metal Gear Solid alert sound. We open back up on CGI of Snake crouched on the battle field watching the chaos between the Climbers and Bomberman. He proceeds to give out an iconic ''Kept you waiting huh." before leaping into the batttle himself and getting a gameplay reveal.

Second trailer?
We open a shopping district in a CGI land. Callie and Marie are just staying fresh as ****. Shopping and being entertained when paint splashes on the shop window and the sisters turn to see that the Inklings have started yet another small war in the center of the shopping district, they walk off, but totally miss the fact that Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy are fighting Mario and Donkey Kong.

Cue splash titles for the Inklings (One for both the boy and girl.) Gameplay reveals for them happen and show off their customization options and such. Cue back to CGI where Mario and Donkey Kong are completely defeated and covered in paint. Inkling Boy and Girl high five one another.
That would be hype as ****.

Size: Around Sonic's height
Weight: Medium

What would make Rayman unique is that he's primary a melee character, but due to his lack of limbs, he has larger range than other melee fighters.
Moveset:

Neutral: Punch, followed by multiple punches if the button is continually pressed.
Forward Tilt: Walks while punching three times, similar to Mega Man's.
Up Tilt: An uppercut
Down Tilt: Does a kick, sends opponents in the air for opportunity to attack.
Dash: Spins like a tornado while dashing. Can be used more than once.

Side Smash: Charges his fist, has pretty decent range.
Up Smash: Same as side smash, but upwards.
Down Smash: Does this spin attack.

Netural Aerial: Kicks.
Forward Aerial: A stronger kick.
Back Aerial: A backwards kick.
Up Aerial: Kicks upwards.
Down Aerial: Slams to the ground.

Neutral Special: Shoots balls of energy like in Rayman 2, can be charged.
Side Special: Shoots a Shock Rocket from Rayman 3, think Villager's Gyroid.
Up Special: Uses his helicopter hair to ascend, the "blades" can hurt opponents.
Down Special: Plucks a giant plum from the ground, it can be thrown to opponents or used as a platform.

Grab: Grabs opponent with one hand
Bash: Hits opponent multiple times.
Side Throw: Throws opponent forward.
Up Throw: Throws the opponent upward, Rayman then puts his hair in helicopter mode, hitting opponents with it.
Down Throw: Closes his hand into one fist and pounds the opponent to the ground.

Final Smash: Has to get at least one hit for it to activate, but will hurt other opponents if activated.
Rayman hits an opponent and summons Globox, Polokus, and the two Teensies to join him in a big beat down. The screen goes black and is followed by Rayman and friends beating the day lights out of anyone on screen.

I've been studying conspiracy theories because I want to make a youtube thing on them. But the "Mandela Effect" is extremely extensive and goes a lot deeper than I really want to go. It has things that freak you out far more than any of the others I've looked into. It connects into several other conspiracy theories such as the "simulation reality" theory, the "Kennedy Assassination theories", it ties into Christian theology (Which most conspiracy theories do in some way), parallel universe theories

For example, some theologian theorists believe the mandala effect connects directly to the anti-Christ especially with passages of the bible supposedly changing such as the example I used last night of the "LIon and the Lamb" which in reality say "Wolf and the Lamb". And supposedly it's connect with experiments with CERN and quantum computers "Opening the gates of Hell" Revelations stuff.
