I had to do a double take when I saw that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were confirmed for Injustice 2. I thought it was a joke, one of Ed Boon's troll deals. Nope. They really will be in Injustice 2. They are now that game's answer to Bayonetta and Smash Bros. They just don't seem to fit in a roster that has Batman, Superman, Hellboy, Sub Zero, Poison Ivy, Red Hood and Brainiac. The same is said for Bayonetta in Smash, given the whole nature of her character, yet Sakarai-san and his crew made her work in a game featuring Jigglypuff, Rosalina, Mario and Pikachu. Now, Geese Howard and Akuma in Tekken 7 does make sense. While I still think they'll stick out like a sore thumb, I believe Ed Boon and his crew will make them work. As long as they don't play like the original NES TMNT game they'll be fine. And since we get TMNT for Injustice 2 I would absolutely want Scorpion or Sub Zero for the next Smash Bros. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?

Since they became available, I decided to give the new Steven Universe episodes a watch tonight. Any other fans of the show around here seen them yet?

Progression seems a tad bit slow in regards to the Homeworld side of the plot line, but there was still tons of great stuff going on with the characters, and a lot of teases and hints of what's to come. I like what they've done so far.

Now I just hope we don't have to wait several more months for new episodes again...

I... definitely was not expecting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at all. Welp, if we were to bring the (somewhat loose by this point) Smash Bros comparisons, the TMNT are to Injustice what Corrin is to Smash. I'm not mad. I've seen enough fighting game speculation at this point thanks to Smashboards that I'm exactly mad. Disappointed that we didn't get Spawn, Constantine or Rorschach (not to mention the trolling of Raphael in the trench coat), but I'll live with it when we see what they're like. Will they be 1 main turtle and the others come in for special moves like Captain Ginyu in DBFZ, or will they be their own separate characters? We'll just have to wait and see.

Raph in the trenchcoat is a reference to the movies and shows, since they were them a lot. I'd compare them a bit more to Cloud, in that they weren't exactly expected, but they are pretty popular.

I really really hope that's not the case. As much as I love MK, and as much as people say he fits better there due to his brutality, he's still a comic book character at heart so I would much rather him duke it out with Batman and Superman, Ninja Turtles and Hellboy, FAR more than I would like to see him rip somebody's heart out.

Hopefully there will be more DLC like Boon was teasing. Please?

Edit: Also the teases for Talion in the files of Injustice 2 PC really makes me want him as a guest Character for the next MK. That'd be ****in epic.

Pretty much at the end stretch of Forces.

Sad to say the Eggman Empire levels were the most underwhelming of the bunch. The Avatar's is a 2D only Wispon spam fest, Modern's is short even compared to the rest of the levels and Classic's is just... A mess. The Infinite boss fight was also super disappointing given how he ended up being a reskin of the Metal Sonic boss fight not that long ago. They don't even use his theme here like what's the point.

Mortar Canyon is Modern Sonic's best level honestly. I agree with it being too short but it's got tons of routes.

Also, you can become an unstoppable missile in that stage.

Well, it is a literal auto-scrolling section.

Not sure if I'd say it's worse than the snowboarding section(which has the camera in front of you and is also auto-scrolling). The camera view can be annoying too. Then again, this is 3D Sonic, and the camera sometimes has been an issue...

Both are honestly something that just shouldn't exist. Auto-scrolling is dumb. Note that the stuff like in Star Fox is very different and is balanced by not having it immensely fast or making it hard to control as is. You can miss stuff, sure, but it's still very doable and you don't need to be super perfect to simply beat the stage. It's not even hard to beat the stages in that kind of game. Mind you, of course sometimes we get some bad gameplay options or stages, but that's something that tends to happen in any series.
