Yeah, I too doubt the possibility of a PJ skin.
A: Because of hitboxes.
B: Because of some people who would complain about Mei's body.
C: Because we can't have nice things.
A PJ skin would be a dramatic difference in comparison to her other skins which is why I want it, but it's not without issues. At the very least, there is the possibility of her Ecopoint outfit as a skin, which is nice looking. Maybe during the next Uprising Event, as that event had skins revolved around past events, like Blackwatch Genji and McCree, Orisa's OR-14 skin, etc. I can't see it coming on Christmas considering Mei already got a Legendary last Christmas.
Yeah, and when it comes to Mei's body I have mention this everytime and this Overwatch short proves that Mei isn't "fat" as what people might think.
Let's wake up this thread with some good ol' MHA opening covers
I love this channel's remixes and now it's with my favorite MHA opening. The objectively best MHA opening.

The song is really my most fav if they change the singer... not saying that he isn't good, his voice just doesn't really fit the OP too well. in my opinion.

Also I just finished listening to Made I Abyss OP "Deep In Abyss", it is rare for the OP to be sang by the two main characters, and I like it.
I still think the starting theme in the first episode is more better though.

That Metroid hype though.

It really is a Zero Mission style remake.

I love it.

New Samus returns trailer

Can't wait for Samus to get a Counter and her own Witch Time in Smash

Oh crap...they were teasing Omegas and the Queen...

And new Aeion abilities and what looks like a new boss enemy? Nice!

One of my biggest concerns for Samus Returns was a lack of marketing for the game, but Nintendo's really pushing Metroid hard this time around...

I still wish there's a demo of the game though, thus I could encourage my friends and other users not familiar with Metroid to play it.

The Tag Team stage in Sonic Forces looks pretty decent, if a tad basic. Glad to see we have a fully 3D stage.

That Lightning Whip Wispon looks absolutely janky as hell though.

The player was just bad. You can use it from a standstill if you don't push the directional stick. It propels you forward if you push the directional stick while using the attack.

Think of it like the difference between using a neutral and a tilt in Smash.

If that's the case then that's good.

Though I can still see some unintentional deaths coming through it.

Well, there's still a while yet, so they might put one up on the eshop by then...perhaps even at launch...

Here's direct feed of the Sonic Forces Tag Team stage from the Famitsu stream.

Not the full stage for some reason but it's being played by the game's producer, so the gameplay is a lot smoother.

The tag team level looks better than all we've seen so far. I don't know about the double boost thing tho.

Hot off the official Sonic YouTube account, here's a remix of Stardust Speedway Bad Future (US Version) that will be featured in Sonic Forces for a boss fight with Metal Sonic.

Also, here's a brief clip of Tag Team gameplay from them in much nicer video quality. It also shows off the Cube wisp, which we haven't seen before.

A new Sonic Forces track has been uploaded.
This time it's a remix of the US version of Stardust Speedway Bad Future.

Didn't expect US Sonic CD to get some love.

Oh lord...

So, I was watching the comment of the Nostalgia Critic video on the DuckTales reboot.

And guess who I found?
Screen Shot 08-24-17 at 05.48 PM.PNG

I'm fine he doesn't like the reboot, but he sound so much like an angry nostalgia fanboy. It's horrible to see that from him, and I don't even want to think about his twitter account is like, because last time I checked, urgh...

This is a really interesting theory regarding infinite. I think it's plausible.

Yeah same here. I think it'll be a good game.

Will it be better than Mania? Prolly not, but it doesn't have to be for me.

Hate the release date tho.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

I still see a ton of red flags, but I don't think it's going to be bad.

It's certainly on the lower spectrum of the games I'm looking forward to this year though.

Y'all have to check out this awesome advertisement they made for the recent Pokemon TCG set:

Team Skull has a dance battle with that team of dancing Pikachus!

Your boy Guzma has some really sick dance moves!

Follow-up on that.

Alvin (the creator of Super Mario Bros Z) actually deleted his twitter account and other social account. (His Youtube account is still here)

Apparantly, alot of drama happened to him before. And now, jugding by this tweet from one of his friend, he is apparantly contemplating suicide.

This is worse that I imagined. And he is making drama on Youtube while he is already depressed?

Jesus, even if I don't respect him as much as before. I hope he will get better, he doesn't deserve this by far.

The Tag Team bit does look like the aspect of the game with the most potential, but the particular level shown still seems a bit basic.

I didn't mind with the initial Modern Sonic gameplay and the Avatar's Park Avenue gameplay (Avatar Green Hill looks more complex and explorable though, even though it's all 2D) since the first level is usually pretty basic in 3D Sonic games, but we've seen two 3D levels (one with a remixed version as well) and yet both of them look more on the linear side, and only one of them was fully 3D at that. I think they really need to show a mid-game 3D level that's hopefully more complex and open-ended. Just cut out the radio chatter if spoilers are an issue.

I also worry about the standalone gameplay for Modern Sonic and the Avatar now. The Tag Team gameplay is literally combining the movesets of Modern Sonic and the Avatar (there's no dedicated character switching button like in Sonic Heroes - Sonic takes the lead when you boost, the Avatar takes the lead when you use the grappling hook, etc). Because of this, I have to ask - what's the point of making standalone stages for Modern Sonic and the Avatar, from a gameplay standpoint? Both are just a version of the Tag Team gameplay where you have less moves at your disposable. Sonic can Boost and Homing Attack and Quick Step, but he can't use a grappling hook, he can't use Wisp powers, and some of the moves Modern Sonic normally has naturally in past games, like the Light Speed Dash, are now tied to Wisps meaning only the Avatar gets to use them. Reverse is true with the Avatar (except in the case of the Homing Attack, which the Avatar still has on it's own via the grappling hook, albeit with a slower animation...also the Avatar can Quick Step too, actually).

Basically my point is that the Tag Team set up has way more level design possibilities than the Modern Sonic-only stages and the Avatar-only stages. And the latter two don't seem to offer anything they can't do in the Tag Team set up. So there's no point to them. Why isn't the whole game just Tag Team, with maybe Classic Sonic as his own thing?

From a marketing/meta standpoint, I understand why - if it's Classic Sonic/Avatar-solo/Tag Team with Avatar + Modern Sonic but no solo-Modern Sonic, then people will complain that Modern Sonic is getting upstaged in his own game. If it's Classic Sonic/Modern Sonic-solo/Tag Team with Modern Sonic + Avatar, but no solo-Avatar, then people will complain the Avatar concept is underplayed and has no reason to exist when the Avatar's main moves are things Modern Sonic has done before.

And that really goes back to how Classic Sonic feels like he's throwing a wrench into things. I kinda think the game should have been just Tag Team stages, fully 3D Modern Sonic with some unique moves, and Avatar with some unique moves and a mix of 3D/2D. I think Classic Sonic's gameplay looks fine on it's own (it's disappointing that they aren't really improving it from Generations beyond adding the Drop Dash, and it's not gonna feel as good as Mania, but the level design and platforming still looks solid so it won't offend me), but it seems to be at odds with the rest of the game.

That being said, I think it's really cool how they are tying Mania and Forces together, and how that has to do with Classic Sonic being in Forces. Classic Sonic is only questionable from a gameplay standpoint.

That being said, I don't think it's shaping up to be a bad game outright, and I think a lot of people are giving it a much harsher time than it deserves, but I am worried about it not being as good as Unleashed, Generations, or even Colours. I'm getting worried that it will be another Lost World - "strong concept and foundation marred by questionable design decisions that are at odds with each other".

I'm excited for the story, music, and seeing more of the visuals at work, it's just the game mechanics and how they're integrated that's looking a bit iffy.

I think the competitive player I added on Squidboards popped into one match. On the opposite team, which would partially explain the stomp that time, LOL.

The Fire Emblem Warriors website has added clear resolution images of the officials arts for Hinoka, Camilla, Takumi, and Leo.

They also added some of the in-game screenshots from yesterday's Famitsu scans onto the official website, giving us better resolution of the images. There is a new in-game screenshot of Takumi as well.

^I love that screenshot of Takumi.

Hinoka is one of those cases where I like how the character looks in-game but not their official art. I know her Warriors art is a 3D version of her official art from Fates, but the way how it is presented looks awkward.

I think today is the first time on the internet that I've ever seen only one comment from someone and instantly realized they belonged on my ignore list. :/

I feel a little sick right now, I think I'm going to take a bit of a break.

I have now beaten KH2
I suppose I'll discuss certain points one at a time.
I didn't really mind the Roxas prologue. Yes, it was very long, but I watched all the cutscenes from Days before playing KH2, so I knew all about Roxas. Plus I really like Twilight Town as an area, even though there aren't many major battles.

As for the worlds in the game, I do like the new worlds that you get to go to, and I like that Halloween Town and Olympus Colosseum had you go to Christmas Town and the Underworld respectively, but I don't think I like the level design as much as the first game, as it is pretty much just hallways for the most part. As for my favorite new world, I think I like Space Paranoids the most, even though I've never watched Tron.

As for the battle system, I really like Drive Forms as a mechanic, as they allow for a lot of different playstyles. I hate AntiForm though, as it punishes you for using them. I have mixed feelings on Limits as a mechanic. On one hand, it's cool to see Sora team up with his party members for a special attack, but I do sort of miss having moves like Sonic Blade and Ars Aracnum (although, Limit Form exists, so I guess it would feel like nitpicking). Gummi Ship is easily one of my favorite changes over the original.

As for the story itself, I feel like the members of Organization XIII are interesting antagonists, and I definitely feel like I Love To Hate them. I've heard some say that the story is a bit hard to follow, but I knew everything that happened in Days, so stuff like how Axel acts toward Roxas made a lot more sense then it would have otherwise. In regards to stuff that ties into Days, I know the Final Mix version came out before Days, but it still hurts that Xion is the only Organization member without a Data Rematch, or a grave in the Proof of Existence. Then again, having to fight Xion would also hurt a bit.
Now as for the last couple of moments of the game, it felt pretty satisfying to fight the rest of the Organization (Xigbar, Luxord, Saix, and especially Xemnas). The ending itself is one of the few times a game has actually made me cry before. Must be because this is the only game with an unambiguous happy ending in the franchise. As for secret endings, I got the one with the MUCH more forgiving unlock requirements, just like in the first game (only getting the other secret ending this time around requires more than completing Jiminy's Journel). I don't think I have what it takes to face the Data Replicas (I haven't even been able to beat Marluxia's Absent Silhouette) or the Lingering Will.

I don't think I quite enjoyed this game as much as the first, but I still enjoyed it quite a lot.

So I came across a theory a few days ago and figured I'd run it by folks here. In essence, it's a theory that states that initially, dual types weren't going to be a thing in Pokémon, but were added relatively late in Gen I's development.

It mainly stems from the existence of the dual type effectiveness glitch (where, for example, Earthquake would do average damage on Venusaur, but display "Not Very Effective" due to Grass being listed first) where type effectiveness is a cornerstone of the game (and as such, something you'd think they'd get right), the fact that there are a disproportionate amount of monotypes compared to later generations, and the fact that most dual types could be reduced to one type, appearance-wise, without issue (Slowpoke and Slowbro are the only ones that are admittedly kind of hard, as both types are integral).

I think it could be plausible. Not enough info to confirm or deny, but...plausible.
