Way too short IMO for showing off a new console's library, but Nintendo did pretty good even if it mostly appealed to just their fanbases. No major time wasted on 3DS titles or ARMS or Splatoon!

Good:
Metroid Prime 4 - Easily the biggest news. Nintendo NEEDS matures titles & a good shooter.
Kirby - Awesome, a solid Q1 release if advertised correctly.
Rocket League - Good on Nintendo for getting it for the Switch. Should draw a few eyes from older gamers.
Mario Odyssey - Monster Hunter/Fossil Fighters? Nope, and the game looks significantly better for it. It's the 2nd SM3DW trailer all over again. Was that Pauline at the end? An October release is a surprise.

Okay:
Xenoblade 2 - They may actually make the 2017 release window. Good on Monolith Soft.
Yoshi - Really underwhelming after Metroid...not bad though.
Zelda DLC - Should keep people content & make more money.

Bad:
FE Warriors -
Pokemon 2018 - This will be HUGE for the Switch, but why waste the time here?
Rabbids - Cool, but why waste time here when it was at Ubisoft's conference?


Nintendo still needs 3rd Party Support badly, but this wasn't bad by any means. They shouldn't have wasted time given last week's Direct, but confirming a mainstream Pokemon title is on the way is a great way to get more hesitant companies on board.

That was a really nice direct.

-Xenoblade 2 looks very nice. Once again, it reminds me of Baiten Kaitos.
-Really love the look of the new Kirby title. PARTNERS ARE BACK! Not to mention mixing abilities, as well as the Curling Rock from Kirby 64 is back as well. This is definitely one I can't miss.
-New Core Pokemon title coming to Switch? The Switch will definitely skyrocket when it comes.
-Metroid Prime 4 exists! Sorta sad at no gameplay or actual reveal, but the fact that it's happening is awesome.
-New Yoshi game. Looks nice. The 3D aspect looks rather interesting.
-Female Corrin confirmed for Fire Emblem Warriors. Not surprising at all. At the very least, I just hope Male Corrin is a available costume/swap for her. Either way, I was hoping for more gameplay, but I guess I have to wait for Treehouse to show it hopefully.
-Breath of the Wild DLC. Looking nice. I wonder what Champion's Ballad as well as the Champions and the Amiibo will do.
-Mario X Rabbids is looking rather nice. Alot better than what I was expecting. I'll need to keep an eye on this one.
-Rocket League confirmed for Switch. Pretty nice and good for the Switch.
-Mario Odyssey looks freaking amazing. The T-Rex absolutely threw me off. Also, the fact that Mario can now possess stuff is interesting, even if it's major fuel for the fan artists/fanficionists. That aside, Mario Odessey looks gorgeous and amazing. I cannot wait to get that.

Anyway, there's still apparently some reveals yet to be revealed, so let's wait and see what happens.


For those talking about no Metroid 4 gameplay, it is sad to see it more as a confirmation rather than a reveal. But the best thing is that when we see it again, there will be gameplay and it will be AWESOME!

In-case you're wondering guys, Nintendo will be announcing a new game in about one hour; if its one of the games mentioned in the Best Buy leak, then I think its pretty much safe to say Smash is coming.

My E3 "Cooldown" is almost over...
But here's my first trailer overlook (Names I still use the name according to the script):

• British voice actors yeah!!!!
• So CGI anime style are more of a standard in some of recent JRPG games if you look at Tales of Berseria, Persona 5, and next year's Code Vein. I actually prefer this kind of style.
• At first I was like: No no no no plz don't turn into blade Homura(Pyra)!!! So yeah Homura is blade is sort of right but also wrong. She still fights beside Rex.
• And we have the first seen of the battle, not sure if it's just temporary lock up fight like the previous game, we do see Xenoblade 2 has a new battle arts design. At first I was disappointed to see them change. Looking it more thoroughly I actually like this system for now. It looks more simple compare to XC and XCX.
• We have a"Military uniform girl" (I suppose it is a girl, and those who watch Re:Creators will get the pun)) somehow damages Homura's Zohar core a bit and Rex's left arm (I also guess his left arm is amputee or just unable to use.
• I guess Hikari might play a role similar to Alvis, that she is sort of a bystander at first but later play an important role in the story.
• We also see two more male antagonists one looks meh and other one looks rad.
• We get to see most (If not all) crews. We do have a Nopon, Nia (The catgirl on the right), Homura/Pyra, unknown girl and Rex.
• The logo... love it love it love it.
• Yes, I know people will be questioning one thing: Why is Rex the only male protagonist so far?

I also hope that anyone can share me more Xenoblade Chronicles 2 info after this.

Super Mario Odyssey was already interesting to me but with this latest footage, it's threatening Breath of the Wild levels of hype. I'm going to have way too much fun "transforming" into anything and everything.

Which reminds me... that Kirby game initially had me rolling my eyes. "Another one of these?" But then taking control of enemies AND the return of the 64 fusion of abilities... I judged too soon, it passes.

Yoshi... ehhhhhh. I immediately lost interest like with Kirby but unfortunately it remained at the end. No thanks.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2, first reaction was that it is looking rather.... stacked. Ahem. But really, another beautiful game that I cannot wait to explore.

Thought the Pokemon reveal was hilarious, came across him reading forums on the internet "Pokemon Stars? What? O-Oh yeah, we're totally doing that. But it's going to take a while! *currently writing down in notebook a reminder to start development of a Switch title*" Glad to hear something, but come on man.

Mario + Rabbids looks better than I imagined, but I'm not entirely sure on it still. Would have preferred a tactical Mario game mashed up with many various IPs, but the bunnies are, well... bunnies.

Bunch of Fire Emblem Fates characters in Warriors, expected Xander and Ryoma pretty much. Guess Corrin is acceptable as a dragon fighter. Still feel like I haven't seen much of anything though. I wonder if we'll get Alfonse, Sharena, and Veronica as DLC somewhere down the line because the games both revolve around pulling heroes from other words. Not something I'd ask for though, given that there are so many "actual" Fire Emblem characters to choose from.

No mention of Smash huh? Guess we aren't getting a port then. Not hearing about anything related to Smash is probably the main disappointment.

One cool thing I saw that gets me excited for if a certain someone appears in Odyssey...

So back when we first saw Odyssey, people noticed that Mario was half the height of the "realistic" humans.

This was worrying for some of us Rosalina fans, because as you can see here, Rosalina's height difference from Mario is the same. It made me think they were gonna make her default height feel small, with her being the same size as other humans, with Peach being even smaller.

But if you compare Pauline in Odyssey to her typical models...

They TOTALLY made Pauline MUCH taller to make her size comparable to the "realistic" humans.

This means if Rosalina appears (and I think she will), she's going to be absolutely massive because she was always much taller than Peach, Pauline, and Daisy as it was.

Not really getting the Fire Emblem Warriors hate. Pretty much the only downside is that Shion and Lian's voices kind of suck. The fact that we finally got full confirmation of Xander, Corrin, and Ryoma is great.

Thoughts on the presentation:

Xenoblade 2: BRITISH ACCENTS ARE BACK!

I'm also glad to know that it's still releasing in 2017 (Just hope they don't rush it).

Metroid Prime 4: The fact that it is actually happening is amazing in and of itself.

FE Warriors: Nice to see more of the game in action and see Corrin, Ryoma, and Xander confirmed(Even though everyone knew they would be in the game anyway). Surprised to see FemCorrin though.

It's interesting to see that a Pokemon RPG is being developed on the Switch. I kind of expect that it's going to be somewhat similar to the Orre games.

Mario Odyssey: That trailer was really cool and increases my hype for the game even more.

The Botw DLC looks interesting, although it will be a while before I get to playing Botw, let alone the DLC.

Overall I'd say it was pretty good. Some people are disappointed about no Smash Switch, but I didn't expect it in the first place, so it doesn't bother me.
