seeing as silvally isnt in there they have scrubbed out at least 1 pokemon fully

at current count there are 72 pokemon if the ultra beasts can be caught (which seems to be the case as they are in the pokedex then we have 80 81+ if silvally isnt the only one not in the demo

What with the island theme and the UB moniker, if none of the Ultra Beasts are named UB40 that's a helluva missed opportunity. And possibly a lawsuit but whatever.

Hey so including the Tapu's there are 16 Pokemon in this game that do not get evolutions.

In XY there were 5.

I don't wanna get my hopes up, but it sure seems like too many.

EDIT: There weren't even that many in Black and White, which had 156 new Pokemon.

Some thoughts (spoilers ahead).

My god... Wimpod looks sick! That's what you get for calling it a wimp.

I have no idea what that anchor/ship wheel pokemon is, but I keep thinking it will be Water/Steel.

Salandit's evolution is alright, although people seem to heavily dislike it for some reason. Morelull's evolution is pretty interesting; a giant, walking mushroom (not like Breloom).

We have a new alien-like creature and a sea spike-like creature and their evolutions; at the moment, they seem pretty cool, but that's all I can say.

Pikipek evolving into a Toucan from a Woodpecker seems really off and strange... but hey, we have a Toucan now.

Crabbrawler's evolution (I believe that is its evolution) seems rather yeti-like, but it also seems familiar.... giant enemy crab anyone?

I'm sorry, but Alolan Persian looks so stupid... why does it have a round head? Of all the shapes they could choose, they chose a circle for its head? I hope its just a joke or something and maybe it won't look like that in the final game...

Golem looks pretty sweet now with its Alola Form; I'm guessing Rock/Steel.

The other Island Guardians look pretty nice, especially the Ghost themed one; kinda looks like a dolphin...

I am surprised to see that both main Legendary Pokemon have pre-evolutions. Wonder how they'll factor into the story.

Gotta say, those new Ultra Beasts look horrific, especially the giant crab themed one with those giant pincers. The color scheme is also pretty horrific in its own right (but in a good way).

Marshadow is pretty adorable if you ask me; I just hope it evolves.
