That new Pokemon Generations episode was awesome! Definitely my favorite thus far, both from the episode itself and my Magma bias.

Tabitha sounded just like I imagined, and Maxie stayed true to his video game version: calm and collected like he was in ORAS.

The inside of the submarine reminded me of something out of Star Wars and Star Trek. It looked surprisingly spacious inside, complete with a special arm chair for Maxie to sit on.

As for the other details, the music and the animation during the fights were definitely my favorite out of all the episodes. The way Sceptile and Brendan were fighting through the base, Primal Groudon wrecking havoc, and the submarine beginning its submersion were fantastic scenes. Didn't expect Camerupt to speak like a horse with a deepened voice though.

And the highlight of the episode: Courtney. Very nice to see more characterization from her since Tabitha gets the bigger spotlight in OR. Her interactions had the mix of a cute demeanor with a fascination for her leader. Her dialogue right before she fought Brendan was exactly like OR/AS; however, this time she came across less like a creepy stalker and more like an insane psychopath. I mean, just look at this still.

Now THAT's creepy.

Her vision was pretty well written too. It ends right when Maxie, Tabitha, and the other Magma members are about to be killed by Primal Groudon's attack. It ties back to Maxie's final words to her before he left for the submarine: "After this mission is over, we'll meet again." The thought of Maxie's potential death to the overwhelmingly strong Primal Groudon makes her realize they may not necessarily "meet again." The water getting propelled into the pool even symbolized her vision. The water first emerges around the point the vision comes to her, and then it dies down once her vision ends. It's like the force of the water symbolized the length of the vision, as well as the intensity and strong sense of accomplishment coming from Magma's goals!

Considering Primal Kyogre also appeared on the Generations poster, I predict next week's episode will focus on Team Aqua. I think it'll be two possibilites:

• A direct mirror to this episode where the exact same events play out. The difference this time will involve Shelly filling Tabitha's role and Matt filling Courtney's role. We'll see more character coming from Matt in addition to his strong and gruff-talking self, and he will have a vision of Primal Kyogre wrecking havoc. The way Shellie will interact with Archie will probably similar to Bayonetta's mannerism, while Archie will command others in the loud and aggressive way like he is in the games. May and Blaziken/Swampert will be fighting through the base instead of Brendan and Sceptile
• A different scene that shows Team Aqua at their prime while the characterizations described above will still be present.

Definitely can't wait for next week!

Hi, couple things for y'all from me.

I'm on fall break now! I don't go back to school until Wednesday, so tonight I'm getting out a very special game from the library that I've wanted to play for a while, and will be doing updates on playing it on this social. I'll give the epic reveal once I come home from the library with it.

Pokemon Generations thoughts: Great action, great design, and the personalities are captured beautifully. My main problem is the voices. Courtney, I LOVE you, and they nailed your psychotic, robot-like personality.....but you literally have the voice of a little girl. But I am VERY happy the episode was more or less centered on Courtney. Also Maxie's voice sounds a little deep. And Tabitha? The laugh is kinda similar to how I do it when playing ORAS. Aside from that she has a very weird voice.

New Pokemon Trailer: Nice, nice, showing the leaked pokemon....steenee, interesting, but not enough for me to catch one......tsareena. Wait. like, a purposeful misspelling of Tsarina? Plus interesting design....maybe. MAYBE. Yup, definitely referencing a tsar's wife.
MUK. WHAT HAVE YOU BECOME. WHAT KIND OF SKITTLES DID YOU EAT!? I can see the "I tasted the rainbow" memes coming.
Olivia seems like a good trainer to fight, looks pretty good too. I can't tell if that trainer's name has two L's, or a capital I and an l. So far she's my best guess for what would be the rival of the game.

Finally, I don't have any set plans for my Moon team, since that's what people are discussing. At the moment there's way two many mons I like to choose from, it'll likely be better for me if I know everything I can choose from.
