That post with the Riddler leaks is kewl stuff. I still think the Ultra Beasts will be like Pokéstar Studios opponents (aka while not catchable, they're coded into the game like normal Pokémon and fight as such)

So you guys remember a while ago when we were discussing what non-video game characters you'd put in a Smash fan game of your own? I ended up getting bored and made full movesets for two of mine for fun. I'll go post them when I get back from doing something. :p

OK I'm just going to drop a random probably false idea that still popped into my head.

If Solgaleo and Lunala do have a prevo, somehow the thought dropped into my head that it was Type: Null and that the helmet was hiding a head like theirs.

That idea is probably wrong, but I'll share it.

And here we go! Two movesets for non-video game characters.

Mickey Mouse

Jab Combo: Punch Punch Magic Blast
Dash Attack: Mickey spreads his arms out and delivers a magical blast mid-run.

Up Tilt: Mickey does a small jump with his fist held high, like he's cheering.
Side Tilt: Mickey takes out a parade conducting stick and twirls it in front of him.
Down Tilt: While leaning, Mickey whips his tail across the ground in front of him.

Up Smash: Mickey thrusts his hands up and launches two magical, firework-like explosions.
Side Smash: Mickey calls down magical lightning directly in front of him.
Down Smash: Mickey leaps up and pounds the ground on both sides with magic.

Neutral Aerial: Mickey does a midair cartwheel maneuver. The sorcerer hat does more damage.
Forward Aerial: Mickey takes out his magic paintbrush and strikes the foe in a small arc.
Backward Aerial: Mickey does a backhand move imbued with magic.
Up Aerial: Mickey points upward as a small shooting star arcs above him.
Down Aerial: Mickey points downward as stars descend on those below.

Grab and Pummel: Mickey grabs and then shocks the foe with magic.
Forward Throw: Mickey punts the foe forward.
Backward Throw: Mickey swings the foe around and tosses them back.
Up Throw: Mickey tosses a foe up and they got shot by three magic sparks.
Down Throw: Mickey throws foes down and blasts them with a fireball.

Neutral Special: Magic Sparks - Mickey launches two swirling magic sparks that, when they hit foes, continuously stun them for a bit with each hit.

Side Special: Pluto - Pluto barks and runs in from off stage, dragging his leash. Mickey grabs on and is dragged. Pluto is invincible and can knock foes away, but Mickey himself can still be knocked away.

Up Special: Magical Paint - Mickey uses his paintbrush and creates a small bouncepad beneath him, rocketing him upwards.

Down Special: Sorcerer's Apprentice - Mickey summons a broomstick that will act depending on Mickey's next input. If the special button is pressed, the broom will throw water at the foe, washing them away with a push. If the attack button is held, the broom will begin smacking the foe with buckets, which can break shields. After the action is done, the broom disappears. The broom can also be destroyed by a foe.

Final Smash: Fantasmic! - The stage grows dark with a spotlight on Mickey. He rolls up his robe sleeves and hops atop a pillar in the stage's center. He then launches a giant magical beam down at foes, causing massive damage. "Some imagination, huh?" Then the attack ends.

Victory Theme: Mickey Mouse March

Captain America

Jab: Two punches, and then a shield-bash elbow strike.
Dash: Leading with the shield, Cap does a roll maneuver.

Up Tilt: Cap grips his shield and swings it in an arc above him, like Little Mac's.
Side Tilt: Cap holds his shield in one hand and swipes it sideways.
Down Tilt: Cap does an outward sweeping kick.

Up Smash: Cap does a rising uppercut with his shield.
Side Smash: Cap leaps forward holding both hands on the shield, smashing it into the foe.
Down Smash: Cap tosses the shield directly to the ground at his feet, which bounces back to him after making impact. Similar to Mewtwo/Lucas/Zero Suit Samus.

Neutral Aerial: Tosses his shield, which circles him for a moment, damaging those it hits.
Forward Aerial: Holding his shield with one hand, Cap swings it in a downward arc, similar to Olimar's Forward Aerial.
Backward Aerial: Does a backhanded shield bash with the shield in resting position.
Up Aerial: Cap does a corkscrew motion with the shield held high.
Down Aerial: A diving aerial. Cap gets behind his shield as he slams it into the ground.

Grab and Pummel: Grabs, then batters the foe with his shield.
Forward Throw: Cap drop kicks the opponent.
Back Throw: Cap turns around and swings the opponent the opposite way.
Up Throw: Cap tosses them up and then bashes them upwards with his shield.
Down Throw: Cap throws them to the ground and slams the shield into them.

Neutral Special: Shield Toss - Cap charges up and tosses his shield. Can be aimed before throwing, and altered after throwing. Momentum is maintained and the shield will bounce off walls and floors, but must be recovered immediately.

Side Special: Charging Star - A callback to Marvel vs Capcom, Cap charges forward with his shield protecting him. He gains super armor in front of him, though he can still be hit from behind.

Up Special: Fly the Flag - Cap leaps up an additional time, much higher than before, as red and white transparent speed lines appear behind him. Cap is free to use an aerial at the very end of the move, like Olimar can.

Down Special: Shield Deflect - Cap holds his shield with both hands to reflect energy-based projectiles back at the user for increased damage. Shield can be aimed for reflection purposes.

Final Smash: Avengers Assemble! - Cap yells this iconic phrase as he's joined by three Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, and Scarlet Witch. Scarlet Witch holds the foe up with a hex while Iron Man and Thor blast them with repulsor blasts and lightning, respectively. Captain America focuses on a close combat combo similar to the likes of Robin, Ike, and Mii Brawler. Finally he slams his shield into them, sending them flying.

Victory Theme: Avengers (2012) Theme

So that was fun. :p

No Keyblade or King Mickey 0/10.
:p

But they both sound good. I honestly would't complain if Mickey got in. He has games behind him and is arguably the most iconic image in the world.

Hello Kitty will be collaborating with Kochikame for a tour, products, and comic in honor of the latter's ending.

I never really expect the two to get this close, like not even in my life.

Over the past year I've been starting to get the impression that Hello Kitty wants her paws in every pie.

I knew about the Sonic plush deal years ago (Despite people acting like it was a surprise. It wasn't.), but then she started showing up in Mario Maker and there's Animal Crossing decorations. . .

*EDIT* Was a while since I read the full archive of what I linked, going to remove that just in case it's too much. I found something off.

So here's some interesting things. first there's this
View attachment 117786

Keep this in mind whille you read this next one, and take note of the date it was posted.

the riddler is saying like another leak, some of this is true and some of it isn't. The last leak he mentioned had some stuff shown off in the last trailer. The english is the 4chan leak with his comments below.

So this fake leak actually has some real info in it. Thoughts?

Don't worry, you can still get it! Do one of two things:

1) you can check your app store now for it. Or

2) You can find the APK online and auto install it yourself. Several people have done this instead of waiting already.
Ah, I was just reading the thread over at Bulbapedia, here's what I could gather about it:

Firstly, here's the link to the original thread, you can follow the trip by Ctrl+f !F9YsLwy0rM

Apparently what happened was that a poster posted information about the game that ended up being verified a few hours before the Sept 6th trailer hit, with the Lusamine bit in particular being a notable point. Not too long after that, this guy posted that 'leak' with a picture of that same post claiming to be the same person, in which he said different things across the thread with leaked information. Right now, there's nothing saying it's the same guy as it's easy to masquerade as someone else due to the anonymous nature of 4chan, and there's some dubious elements to his statements (for example, he says Rockruff doesn't have multiple evolutions, which isn't true if he included forms in that definition, and he acts like it's surprising GF revealed Aether when the picture indicates that he was somewhat expecting it to be revealed soon) so there's nothing saying everything he's spouting is true.

Now with that said, I definitely expect the parts about Lusamine being Lille's mother and studying Hyperspace Pokémon, the three professors, Z-forms, and Kukui studying them as the details that could very well be true. They're mentioned in the linked picture at the top of the thread that got Lusamine's reveal right, so it's stands to reason that bit is what the Riddler is referring to at the very least. For similar reasons, the Solgaleo/Lunala bit is also very plausible since that detail was also mentioned in the image you posted. As for the rest, I could see UBs not being catchable, the starters potentially having Z-forms, and the Battle Frontier returning as those I feel have good chances to appear based on what we know about the game so far. The rest I'm skeptical about, but we'll see soon enough.

Well, might as well continue.

Something horrifying happened here too.

RIP Hermonie
RIP Santa
RIP Rolf
RIP Doge
Rip Oranges
Dang it, there goes my two main competitors (Hermonie and Rolf). Now who am I supposed to root for...

I wonder...

if :152::155::158:actually do get Alola forms...Alolan Oak will be the one to give them to you, maybe?...Could be neat, remember in X and Y we got the Kanto starters who all had Mega Evolution when it was introduced...Alolan Johto starters would literally do the same for Alola forms in Sun and Moon...And it would make sense for Alola's authority on Pokemon's Alolan forms to have starters with Alola forms...

If they do it's possible for just the final stages to get Alola forms instead of the whole evolution line since we know that Exeggcute, Cubone and Pikachu don't have Alola forms, yet their evolutions do...it's also easier on development because it's only three Alola forms to make instead of nine...
Still think :154:Psychic/Fairy :157:Dark/Poison and :160:Dragon/Fighting would be sick tho...

But then again...I'm just thinking out loud...and for all we know Alola forms are going to be Kanto only...

----

Either way we're getting new info tomorrow...most likely covering more about Lugarugan and the new Ultra Beasts...I feel like we may get the starters 1st stage evolutions...we're a bit overdue for them methinks since the game's coming out in just over two months...

Been having this idea for a long while now (even down to the same typings).

Since I doubt we'll see it, I was kinda thinking of trying my hand at editing the sprites for them just for the hell of it.

Even though this may sound insane, I find Demon Ryotsu Kitty absolutely adorable.

Got to follow this event closely just to see where the Hello Kitty team is going with this.

----

Either way we're getting new info tomorrow...most likely covering more about Lugarugan and the new Ultra Beasts...I feel like we may get the starters 1st stage evolutions...we're a bit overdue for them methinks since the game's coming out in just over two months...
Feraligatr is mah favorite Starter.

If it gets an Alola form.....I'm going to be excited.

I wonder...

if :152::155::158:actually do get Alola forms...Alolan Oak will be the one to give them to you, maybe?...Could be neat, remember in X and Y we got the Kanto starters who all had Mega Evolution when it was introduced...Alolan Johto starters would literally do the same for Alola forms in Sun and Moon...And it would make sense for Alola's authority on Pokemon's Alolan forms to have starters with Alola forms...

Well, I like the typings (And it would allow me to use Typhlosion on my team since I already have a fire picked out)

But Oak gives you the Kanto starters, I dunno if it'd make sense for Alolan Oak to give you Alolan Johto starters

@Swampasaur - Why would they kill off Rolf?! He's the son of a shepherd!
Always love reading whatever happens in the Hunger Games that often go on. Should be a more common thing at least once a month or two.

But today I decided to start on the next game I felt was important on my backlog - Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
I've always had this game since it was released, but never really made it past when Professor Birch was attacked on Route 101. My starter Pokémon was Mudkip, but that's because when I started playing it, my sister made the save file, and I didn't want to delete it. I've taken over since then, which leads me to the current stage of revisiting Hoenn - Caught about 7 familiar Pokémon along the way, from Zigzagoon, the Poocheyena with Fire Fang (I like the inclusion of these Pokémon that often have an unusual move, the aforementioned Poocheyena being a neat case), Tailow, and Wurmple has now evolved into Silcoon. All in all, so far so good. Just about to enter the forest that leads into Petalburg City.

And hype for Pokémon Generations - that looks pretty cool so far.

Been having this idea for a long while now (even down to the same typings).

Since I doubt we'll see it, I was kinda thinking of trying my hand at editing the sprites for them just for the hell of it.
I mean those typings just fit them perfectly so, it's no surprise...

Would be cool to see some Alola edits for them though...
Go Nappa!

Well Typhlosion is one of my favourite starters, and seeing it get a powerful typing like Dark/Poison would be sick AF...

Well I think the Johto starters seem the most likely to get Alola forms if any starter trio will get them...and since Alola Oak is studying Alola forms then he would very well be studying the Johto starters because of it and likely have three to hand out to trainers...once again similar to Sycamore who was studying Mega Evolution and gave the player the Kanto starters as well as their respective mega stones...

Even though this may sound insane, I find Demon Ryotsu Kitty absolutely adorable.

Got to follow this event closely just to see where the Hello Kitty team is going with this.
Yeah, though hardcore Hello Kitty fans may hate it because he looks too weird to be their favorite kitty.

The store will be selling these goods starting today and they will host a Kochikame exhibit in the same place throughout the year. Kind of like with Sonic, they are trying to get the Kochikame fanbase into their products. Even though most of them are probably old by now and not into girly stuff.

I just remembered....

I didn't do my Gen VI end of playthrough tradition of Wondertrading my team (while holding useful items like Master Ball and Leftovers)...

It's like sending them to a new home after a job well done...A journey's end that leads to a new beginning for them instead of being sent into Oblivion after restarting the save file....

"Cannot Trade This Pokemon Because it Has an HM"

Alright then....

Bruce-Gible (not bad at all)

Einstein-Wurmple . . . . . .yay

Moldarach-Cottonee (interesting)

Beth-Marill (it's alright)

Smaug-:215: Ok...so trading off my Second Favourite Pokemon, Salamence, does hurt a little bit but....Getting back my favourite Pokemon just feels so damned fitting...(but it's frikkin Modest, what even is this?)

Kellam-(My MvP Holding a Master Ball as his trophy)-Another Marill...eh...

wouldn't be a bad team for a Wonderlocke playthrough though...

Thoughts?
It has Alolan Nidoking, and it hints Wimpod might have an awesome evolution.

I want it to be real.

RIP Gimli
RIP Pyro
RIP Socialism

The Winner is Tippi.
RIP Socialism.

You died at the end just like the Soviet Union. ;_;7

Hello Kitty will be collaborating with Kochikame for a tour, products, and comic in honor of the latter's ending.

I never really expect the two to get this close, like not even in my life.
Damn. I want to call it an abomination but I love it so much.

LOL, I heard about this earlier

This is like that time scientists held a poll to name a boat and the results turned out "Boaty McBoatface"

The scientists didn't name it that...
Though they DID name the small sub aboard the ship that.

...when THAT should have been Subby McSubface.

The Harambe name actually won, but the zoo decided to not name like that. :p
EDIT: Actually that baby gorilla doesn't even exist, so the news is a hoax.
First Matt Damon's not Matt Damon, and now this?!

We know of about 51 pokemon including the evolutions of the starters, Pipek and the briefly seen Cutiely evo. If there are 3 more guardians then that's 54.

There's 10 Alola Pokemon, plus the speculated and likely Alola Persian, which technically count as new Pokemon in all but Pokedex data making 64/65 so far.

Gen 6 had 72 new monsters plus 28 Megas (later expanded to 48) so unless they've already revealed all new Pokemon I think Gen 7 is gonna be bigger than 6. It's very obvious that several monster shown thus far are only the first stage.

5 hours remain.

I don't really think they are going to show much more than what was in Coro Coro

Maybe 1 or 2 new pokemon
