Also I wouldn't buy a game on Steam with the assumption it gets mods. Not every game does.

The only reason I did this with Sonic Lost World was because I saw the research going on with the already existing Wii U version, and because it was known that it shared file formats with Generations.

Yooka-Laylee might get mods but we can't know when since it's a fresh new game.

I ordered it May 25th and got it today. Soooo... 12 days. They did send an email that has a link to a package tracker so you might want to recheck it.

I've been waiting on that email. They say it ships within 4 business days, and it's been a week since I ordered. Maybe they're backed up or busy with cons or something. They have been attending a few different conventions lately. I'm debating with myself over whether or not I should send them an email asking about it, or just wait a few more days.

Poketuber who doesn't know anything, constantly makes drama and is all around an asshole. He claimed Mega Salamence being banned by Smogon was fumb because regular Salamence outclasses it, saying Mixed Greninja doesn't work, blahblahblah. He claimed he is undefeated at official VGC, but there's proof that's a lie. He says a +3 Defence Slurpuff counters Mega Khan, but is most infamous moments are when he claimed Smogon stole his girlfriend, when he stole an image and tried to turn the tables by claiming there's no copyright on the image and he sent his mindless fans to harass Shofu and Pokeaimd. Pokeaimd merely politely corrected him on one of his videos. tldr: whiny **** who I'd gladly remove from YL

If it were up to me though, I'd just make a weird slice of life show with an episode dedicated to each character, where they are going through some kind of struggle and overcome it through mingling with the other characters. With random fight scenes in between and maybe an underlying plot.

Frankly I see what you mean about him being an asshole.
But still, did he at least get justice for stealing? I mean, he's monetizing this stuff, that's illegal.

Personally I think a Smash Bros anime could be either really hit or miss. Hit because seeing all the Nintendo characters together is fan service overload and Miss because it can turn out to be cheesy as all hell. Wouldn't want it personally. I liked SSE because it wasn't too over the top and I liked the interaction between characters without them having to talk.

Nope. Unless you count the people who realized he's a thief calling him out, but they all got blocked regardless if they were fans. He then tried to twist things by saying "nuh uh, it doesn't count as he doesn't own the battle format despite making it!" or "It doesn't count because he's an idiot" (the guy he stole from graduated from one of England's best universities and Verlisify spins signs for a living) or "He gens illegal mons so it doesn't matter!"

Bloody fantastic. The art style is pretty great.

I like how there's both genders for Robin and Corrin. Shame the same can't be said about Wii Fit Trainer or Villager, or other noteworthy alts like the Koopalings and Alph.

Also like how Ganondorf, Bowser and Mewtwo are on the top center of the art like the mighty villains they are (or tend to be portrayed, at the very least).

I think it can easily work. Think of it like a' open world Big Brothers house' with characters simply interacting and some fighting and some small story and hilarious story arcs. Or you know, whatever N thinks of.

It doesn't need to be about amiibo to sell both Smash & Amiibo & Games from all the franchises.

I think I've thought of using Smash in a card game-type context before, so this isn't too much of a stretch from that.

Alternatively, they could go a Ben 10-esque route and use either the game itself or the Amiibo to physically transform whoever gets them into the characters for ludicrous crime-fighting and general utility purposes.

Considering people only seem to try with older IPs when the original product is mocked in the first place. . .YES PLEASE.

The way people take issue with the original might lead the people in charge of the remake to compensate by making it far better than would be normally expected.

Besides, the original went on for like, two and a half seasons. It didn't do half bad for itself, it's just that in a day an age where even the slightest inaccuracy from source material will set people off now the sheer number of things that only loosely resembled what they were supposed to be is kind of mind breaking to the internet. The concept itself clearly works, so the idea of what would happen if it was made in the modern era with a bit more care is kind of interesting.

Slice of life. . . almost kind of reminds me of Palutena's Revolting Dinner in a way. There wasn't too much mingling going on, but it was essentially a plot about Palutena trying to make dinner for the day and being enough of an idiot about it that it caused a conflict.

It could definitely use an underlying plot, some character interactions, and a bit more fighting, but there's definitely the potential there for the characters to just live their lives and then have something happen that warrants attention. Heck, if we look at Palutena's trailer, that covers the fight scene part just fine. So we just need characters from different series chatting each other up and a storyline to anchor it and it's good.



Honestly, there's a lot that could go wrong with a Smash Bros anime to be sure, but there's enough potential in it that I wish they would try to make one anyway.

If Smash had an anime, I'd see it as a comedic sketch show relying on character interaction
