2016 has seen too many stars lose their light, but we won't ever forget what they've inspired for so many of us. Rest in Peace, Gene Wilder.
What do you consider a good review score?
Back when the Official Nintendo Magazine was still going, I've taken towards their review style and kinda adopted it after it stopped.
The score system went along the lines of:
0-19% = Bad
20-49% = Poor
50-69% = Average
70-84% = Good
85-89% = Excellent
90+ = The ONM Gold Award - which translates to an amazing game.
Every now and then when I look at Metacritic, I wonder when 7/70 became accepted into 'average'...
So...
Some questions....
1. How do you guys feel about a vampire who combines gunplay with more traditional vampire powers?
2. How do you guys feel about a werewolf that doesn't lose his humanity after transformation?
3. How do you feel about a Mongolian Death Worm/robot hybrid?
4. How do you feel about a centaur that uses its own version of martial arts based on its unique anatomy?
5. How do you feel about a yakuza nekomata?
6. How do you feel about a succubus that lives with her parents?
7. Buford?
8. How about Valkyries that speak like Thor does in Marvel comics/movies?
1: Could work along the lines of Demitri Maximoff from Darkstalkers - 17th Century style pistols would be the way to go. Vampires should always have a sense of class to them, so being boastful about his skills could be a part of his personality.
2: Must be difficult to know that everyone sees you as a monster on the outside, yet you're (possibly) still a human on the inside. I know of a few werewolves like Sabrewulf (don't quote me on this, I need to play more Killer Instinct) and Jon that do retain some shreds of humanity in them.
3: Would be interesting to see the concept 'fleshed' out. *Eaten alive by monster*
4: It's been pointed out a while ago that it's not unfamiliar for characters like Motaro in Mortal Kombat. Could be done, and it seems they'd have a strong reliance on their body as the bulk of their attacks.
5: I guess we know what happened when Jibanyan goes into edge mode.
6: Interesting subversion of the succubus' tropes.
7: Can't say I know that one.
8: Fits in with their Nordic background.
