I have a question for you guys:

Who here reads books (like novels) for a hobby? I really have no interest to start any book but my parents repeatly push me to do even I tell them no. Books are simply not my thing.

When I was a kid, I loved reading books. There were many series that I picked up and read through such as Harry Potter, the Gone series, and a few others that I enjoyed. Even now, while I don't read as much as I did, I still pick up a book from the bookstore from time to time whenever I see something that interests me.

It really depends. Mostly I don't read as it's not a habit or a hobby. On the other hand, as a person who read about 60 Hardy Boys books, a bunch of Nancy Drew books and other similar detective books, I do like detective/mystery books and novels. I also did read the Harry Potter books and the Lord of the Rings books. Oh, and I did read alot of old books, like Red Badge of Courage, The Three Musketeers, Ivanhoe, and etc back then. Heck, one of my favorite books is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

But otherwise, I really do not read much in terms of modern books. Actually, that's somewhat not true. While I really do not read much, I did actually read some of Discworld. While I haven't read all of them at the moment, I have read a whole bunch, especially the City Watch Books. And truly, Samuel Vimes is the !@#$%^& best. R.I.P. Sir Terry Pratchett.

Does GameInformer count as reading? Because I got plenty of those. Those are the only " books" I read

I still think the most hype reveals are from fro 5th to first Lucina/Robin, Bayonetta ,Cloud, Mega Man & Sonic (in brawl).

Lucina/Robin in the sense it killed an otherwise iron clad leak so the next character could be anyone/thing
Bayonetta is obvious
Cloud for killing so many of the "rules"
Mega Man for showing that someone cared about him
Sonic, also obvious.

Lucina and Robin were so hype. When the trailer started I was line oh... cool. Chrom.

Then boom. Double whammy and the good Captain.

My fave trailer is still the Brawl announcement trailer.

Meta Knight, Pit, ZSS and Final Smashes, Wario and Snake.

Seriously. I must have watched it 500 times.

Don't know why its a popular fetish.

Some people may like it for the idea of a taboo relationship.

I think a lot of it is from people w/o siblings who don't really get what it's like to have a sibling, as well. Edit: Hence the prevalence of "oh, they're not blood related, so it's okay."

I do enjoy reading every now and then, and some authors I enjoy include the likes of Carl Hiaasen and more modern book series like The Hunger Games and such. I've also read a bunch of books that have quite a lot of significance (for English in year 12) - from Animal Farm to 1984, Life of Pi (Funnily enough, I saw the movie before I knew we'd be studying the text, so it kinda spoiled it for me in a way that was fine for me. Made my life much easier. ), Lord of the Flies... Yet I've books that I've got stored up in my backlog of sorts because I just don't have the time or prioritise my games over them. As such, I've got Sherlock Holmes, 'The Happiest Refugee' by Anh Do, and about 10+ more books that I need to start. I just need to balance my gaming and reading priorities, so I know I can dedicate the time into reading if I just try. Not to boast, but one challenged my friend gave me was to read the first two Hunger Games book by a certain deadline, or else he'll spoil them. Good motivation to keep the pages turning as the action goes on. Now, if I could just say the same for the textbooks I have...

With regards to five trailers I felt the most hype for:
1: Shulk
2: Roy
3: Little Mac
4: Bayonetta
5: Robin and Lucina (after the initial confusion I had died down)

Now I'm having second thoughts about submitting that defense to the Controversial Characters page the more I think about it. Perhaps I should wait and see what pops up in these next few days, then make my judgment.

On a different note, here's something that just crossed my mind about Sun and Moon.

You know how Mythical Pokemon as of late have special events unlocked in the game? I've been thinking what will probably be Magearna's special event.

So Magearna had a full set of color 500 years ago. As the years went by, the paint on Magearna faded to the point it only has that metallic color now.

We also know that one of the cities in Alola has high walls around it similar to that city in the recent Pokemon movie.

My prediction how Magearna's special event will play out: You will meet an NPC in the walled city that will explain the history of Magearna to you, similar to other special events with Mythical Pokemon in recent games. This NPC will tell you that Magearna used to look much more colorful in the past, and he/she can paint Magearna to its original colors. This will allow you alter Magearna's appearance so that it has its original colors. However, the paint won't last forever. After a certain amount of time, perhaps about a month, the paint will wear off, and you'll need to talk to the same NPC again if you want Magearna to have its original colors again.

Smash 4's custom system was a mixed bag so future instalments either need to streamline it in some fashion, or drop it.

While I'd prefer the former, if the latter happens, what custom moves would you want to become regular moves?

You'd think the choice for Ganondorf would be the sword but I'd want the shallower Dark Dive. It'd help his mobility game considerably.

I'll use all of Lucina's customs as her new moveset

Crescent Slash, Efforless Blade, Iai Counter but her Neutral B stays the same

Palutena's Lightweight (down b), super dpeed (side b), and explosive flame (neutral b)

way more interesting and better moves than a counter and reflector.

Explosive Flame and Angelic Missle would be fine for me. Lightweight and Super Speed should just be one thing since it's almost the same
