I always found those fights pretty dumb either way because it's a character that's designed to overcome greater enemies through new traits and writing vs a character that's designed to overcome greater enemies through new traits and writing.

Eh, it's more like power when the story wants him to have it. When the story needs him to be defeated, he's defeated. I.E. the writers love to just write in access to power they didn't previously have. It's funny that kirby is also mentioned as he works in a similiar fashion nowadays.(Going from a penguin stealing food to, as of most recently a godly computer that's about to destroy popstar and everything else.)

Yesterday I posted of a Killer Instinct leak discovery of an upcoming game called "TJ Combo Boxing Beta". Well, a higher up at the Killer Instinct forums spilled the beans on this. Turns out it's been scrapped:

Let me end he speculation. It was a mobile game prototype we were working on to go hand in hand with some interesting tech being developed for our phones.

The tech didn't end up being put into production, so the game wasn't finished. It was pretty cool - it told the rise of TJ and his whole dealings with ultra tech. His trainer was modeled after Ken Lobb too. =)

It played like punch-out but with combo mechanics and KI flair.

I honestly don't see a true future of a Killer Instinct spin-off of some kind but it's neat one almost happened.

When you are a being where EVERYTHING is a part of your dream (even other outer dimensional beings like Yog and Nya), NOTHING can truly kill or defeat it. And that's just how HP Lovecraft created it.

There exists a Top 50 list for most annoying Jump female leads and it's accurate and wrong at the same time. How the hell is Ochako more annoying than Erina and Sakura? And I feel a certain Ichigo 100% character is a bit too overrated compared to the more annoying leads of that manga.

At least Eve and Tokiko being last means that there's little complaints about their characters.

Some are probably the victims of having too many hard to translate Japanese jokes (especially Saiki K. and Luckyman) while others just didn't have the market for them (Shame since Tar-Chan is actually pretty damn hilarious).

Weekly Shonen Jump does have a rich history of many memorable and popular manga since the 70's in Japan (Some of their games like Jump Ultimate Stars and J-Stars Victory VS proves this). But when it comes to the U.S. however, they either care about the more mainstream works or never give any new or obscure series a chance. There are some people that even reject Boku no Hero Academia because it's generic or the main character is a crybaby (but Izuku as a character grows to be a better person in future arcs).

Long time lurker, first time poster here!
(An LTL FTP if you will)

I'm getting oddly nostalgic for Brawl's build-up the euphoria when Ike, Diddy, Pokemon trainer and the others were revealed. The long nights looking at the Metal Gear wiki to figure out what it was about (still confused BTW) and the epic laughing in doubter's faces when Sonic was revealed.

Personally I'm hoping for Krystal, Shulk and Mega Man on the characters front but I have to wonder about the features being added. I wonder if it's customization and if so that they pull it off better than Capcom pulled off the Gems In SFXT.

Two out of three isn't too bad.
