Orihime being less annoying than Sakura is also funny on its own in a good way.
Same. It really says alot about who Japan finds the least annoying. But they are also flawed since Ochako is far from annoying (They are probably Tsuyu and Momo fanboys).

I know this is ironic because I just had an anime avatar (and now have one that is anime inspired but. . .

people take anime way too seriously.

As if The Great Bleach Meltdown over IchiRuki wasn't obvious enough.

Tell that to the Dragon Ball Z fans that want to slit ScrewAttack's throat over Buu and Goku's loss.

We all know that nowadays both would curbstomp Kirby and Superman, but come on.

People still ignoring the fact that Superman is limitless in power (lifting a book of infinite pages for example) in 2016.
Can Superman cause shockwaves that can endanger the universe when done more than once (And I'm referring to Dragon Ball Super here)?

I always found those fights pretty dumb either way because it's a character that's designed to overcome greater enemies through new traits and writing vs a character that's designed to overcome greater enemies through new traits and writing. :p

And to that I say, touche too. :p Since I was also with the supporters.

It's alright, because an unresticted Bill Cipher would destroy all four in the end of the day. :troll:
Sorry, but even the strongest Undertale characters would destroy Cipher with ease.

Even your old pal Flowey who's here to kill you over and over and OVER!

What part of limitless power don't you get?
Goku has limits. Superman doesn't.
End of.
Ok, you are the DC Comics expert around here. But try saying that to another Dragon Ball fans's face on online. They would still cry foul because they never listen to face value.

Says the God that lost to a human and his horde of demons.

Also, Azazoth says hi!

Don't think I forgot.

The thread may have been locked and I may have left the mansion years ago, but I still remember quite a bit from that strange place :p
:061:
I prefer to forget about that for the most part. My past self really makes me cringe. :p

Eh, it's more like power when the story wants him to have it. When the story needs him to be defeated, he's defeated. I.E. the writers love to just write in access to power they didn't previously have. It's funny that kirby is also mentioned as he works in a similiar fashion nowadays.(Going from a penguin stealing food to, as of most recently a godly computer that's about to destroy popstar and everything else.)

****. You win this round. Azazoth can destroy everything on a higher dimensional scale (even non-existence) if it wakes up. All of existence is part of its dream. This existence includes beings such as Yog-Sothoth, who embody all that is and isn't, also containing an infinite number of dimensionless, limitless beings who can control anything below them as they see fit. Even the lowest of these gods sees infinitely layered worlds with infinite possibilities and impossibilities as nothing more than a game without any rules.

That thing is beyond broken being in existence.

When HP Lovecraft can create the most broken beings in all literature, he loves to **** with his reader's minds.

Nothing can truly stand up to a being in which EVERYTHING is part of its own dream.

Pretty much what I'm saying but simplified. :p

In fiction I've seen characters both buffed and nerfed incredibly.

Yesterday I posted of a Killer Instinct leak discovery of an upcoming game called "TJ Combo Boxing Beta". Well, a higher up at the Killer Instinct forums spilled the beans on this. Turns out it's been scrapped:

TempusChaoti said:
Let me end he speculation. It was a mobile game prototype we were working on to go hand in hand with some interesting tech being developed for our phones.

The tech didn't end up being put into production, so the game wasn't finished. It was pretty cool - it told the rise of TJ and his whole dealings with ultra tech. His trainer was modeled after Ken Lobb too. =)

It played like punch-out but with combo mechanics and KI flair.
I honestly don't see a true future of a Killer Instinct spin-off of some kind but it's neat one almost happened.

Strange, no one wants to argue against Azathoth's strength at all.

Then again, HP Lovecraft's work doesn't appeal to everyone.

Man, sucks that this got scrapped. A KI style Punch-Out sounds pretty great.

When you are a being where EVERYTHING is a part of your dream (even other outer dimensional beings like Yog and Nya), NOTHING can truly kill or defeat it. And that's just how HP Lovecraft created it.

Even dare I say, Superman would be powerless since logically he or any other character is still a part of its dream.

Goku/DBZ fans will try to look for any reason to prove that he's stronger than Superman. It's kind of sad really. Especially considering Supes is a guy that sneezed away a Solar System lol.

I'm pretty sure anyone from the Nutshack can instantly win anyway.

Consider this: Phil killed Bob Saget, twice. And Bob Saget killed Snoop Dog. And we're not even getting to the stronger characters such as Tito.

Plus they know they're a cartoon and have communicated with the real world. :p

Wait, why the hell are we talking about the overpowered and obviously god-like Old Ones again?
Because HP Lovecraft rules.

And some need to know who are the real broken gods in this universe.

There exists a Top 50 list for most annoying Jump female leads and it's accurate and wrong at the same time. How the hell is Ochako more annoying than Erina and Sakura? And I feel a certain Ichigo 100% character is a bit too overrated compared to the more annoying leads of that manga.

At least Eve and Tokiko being last means that there's little complaints about their characters.

This makes me wish there weren't so many obscure manga, and they were more popular outside Japan.

Some are probably the victims of having too many hard to translate Japanese jokes (especially Saiki K. and Luckyman) while others just didn't have the market for them (Shame since Tar-Chan is actually pretty damn hilarious).

Weekly Shonen Jump does have a rich history of many memorable and popular manga since the 70's in Japan (Some of their games like Jump Ultimate Stars and J-Stars Victory VS proves this). But when it comes to the U.S. however, they either care about the more mainstream works or never give any new or obscure series a chance. There are some people that even reject Boku no Hero Academia because it's generic or the main character is a crybaby (but Izuku as a character grows to be a better person in future arcs).

Izuku is way more than a crybaby: he's basically Taskmaster.

A few days ago I actually looked at the Quicksilver VS Flash thing. Some people were butthurt about Flash winning because "Quicksilver can stop time, have you even SEEN the movies?" and I temporarily became Mark Hamil because these idiots don't know how special effects can be used

Omagadoki Zoo?

That manga was the ****. Shame Horikoshi pulled the plug before the next best arc.

The funny part is The Flash does pretty much the same thing in the JL trailer...

I know the trailer came after the DB, but it still makes that argument null and void...

Who ever thinks Deku is a crybaby barely read through the manga in the first place. Mineta is a bigger ***** than him and he cares more about boobs than being a brave hero.

As a fan, I can admit that it's hard to defend anything involving this spidermonkey. He's actually kind of an obsessive, annoying jackass for a friend. And I'll admit the butt jokes are the more lowbrow and cringeworthy jokes in the show.

What was your first ever post on Smashboards? Here's mine from May 2012

Long time lurker, first time poster here!
(An LTL FTP if you will)

I'm getting oddly nostalgic for Brawl's build-up the euphoria when Ike, Diddy, Pokemon trainer and the others were revealed. The long nights looking at the Metal Gear wiki to figure out what it was about (still confused BTW) and the epic laughing in doubter's faces when Sonic was revealed.

Personally I'm hoping for Krystal, Shulk and Mega Man on the characters front but I have to wonder about the features being added. I wonder if it's customization and if so that they pull it off better than Capcom pulled off the Gems In SFXT.
Two out of three isn't too bad.
