Just wanted to drop in and remind everyone that tomorrow is the first day of the Pokemon World Championships in San Francisco, and the opening ceremony will be streamed on Twitch at 9:00 A.M. It's very likely more Sun and Moon information will be revealed during the event. After all, the Worlds' opening ceremonies has a history of revealing of the newest information for upcoming Pokemon games. Here's a brief look at what was revealed in the past:

• Worlds 2009: Heartgold and Soulsilver was announced to everyone outside of Japan
• Worlds 2013: Mega Kangaskhan revealed
• Worlds 2014: Mega Slowbro revealed
• Worlds 2015: Pokken Tournament console release announced + Pikachu Libre as a fighter revealed

The new information will be delivered from a developer (who makes a guest appearance during the event) for the upcoming game; Junichi Masuda for HG/SS/X/Y/OR/AS, Harada for Pokken last year. In tomorrow's case, Shigeru Ohmori would probably be the guest star since he's developing Sun and Moon this time around (Masuda is the producer).

What does everyone think will be revealed in tomorrow's opening ceremony? I'm betting that we will see a new Alola form considering we had the reveal of a new Pokemon the day before.

That is actually. NWR and NintendoLife especially aren't afraid to give a Nintendo game a bad score either.

It may have something to do with the number of reviews these sites can pitch out. IGN and Destructoid (although there are many reviewers) have to pitch out reviews and articles about games on all platforms. I would also argue because of this sometimes their content is rushed or less openminded. I'm not saying these aren't equally reliable or valid, they just have different priorities and perspectives of how much time they can invest into one game or article, since they have larger teams and are a little more corporate.

Dedicated PlayStation and Xbox sites seem to have more thoughtful content for their games as well, and not always biased.

Yep, it lost aprox 3% during the session, but now is more stable at -2.50%
After checking the previous days this fall is kinda sharp for a single session; losing the points they got during the week. We must remember that Nintendo stocks crashed after investors realized that Pokémon GO is not owned by Ninty (lol) but it showed signs of recovery.
Atm I can't find a legit reason about this fall except for the supposed anime backlash.

Am I surprised people are cancelling pre-orders because of something that's been in the status quo for years so we shouldn't be surprised? No. But I don't think it's killing the stocks.

So, Matthew Taranto did an AMA on Reddit about Tadpole Treble and Brawl In The Family. His studio, BitFinity, is already conceptualizing a new game, one that's "more Metroid flavored". Get hype! He says that something in Tadpole Treble hints towards the new game, but that it's very subtle.

2 reasons
1- For the first time he made it to the finals and the episode titles indicated a victory for ketchup + TV Tokyo making some hype with YT videos featuring Ash-Frogger that convinced many viewers to see the anime again in hopes of having a change in the formula just like in Sun and Moon
2-Greninja is now the most popular Pokémon and having it capitalizing a league win would have make people to buy even more of its merch, but the staff basically pulled a Sakurai and nerfed it, potentially killing its market momentum.
