Still kinda odd he got in before Dedede, but I'm not complaining. He looks awesome!

Not sure how to feel about him using the Beam ability rod in his smashes though.

I guess they just wanted to reference Waddle Doo in some capacity.

It adds a little more variety to his moveset, so I don't mind it.

In regards to the anime/manga characters in Smash conversation from the last pages, the best approach would be Nintendo and Sakurai collaborating with anime studios and manga publishers for a project similar to Hyrule Warriors.

Use the same design philosophies for gameplay and content, replacing the Nintendo properties with those of the manga publishers.

That would be the best approach rather than simply inserting anime/manga characters into a regular Smash game.

Andy, Lyn (would be the only FE character I would want), and I guess the Inklings if they were going for newer characters. Here's hoping for the first option though.

Bandana Waddle Dee is an interesting addition that I would've never expected (though I didn't have much interest in him for Smash 4). Looks really neat moveset-wise.

And newcomer for tomorrow? Hope for King K. Rool, Simon Belmont, or Inkling (but not a problem if it's none of them).
