I can think of 2 reasons off the top of my head

1. Beating someone with it
2. Planting it as fake evidence


I can't think of any non-sinister reasons though but that isn't my forte

You only buy the legal half if you plan on getting the illegal half.

People use Emulators to stream games on Twitch so I believe. They create a backup file of said legal copy and use the emulator to make it easier to stream the game.

That's why there's a huge scene for Melee and PM online using the Dolphin emulator.

Emulators are perfectly legal though. It's only ROM's that are distributed through the web that are illegal.

Ironic considering the first thing you see when you Google search a SNES/N64/GB/GBC/GBA/NDS game is "(Insert game title) rom". Here's proof.

Except the 3DS is still very new, and you can get almost every game on it easily. If it was something like, say, Path of Radiance, then yeah, emulation can be considered as there's no way in hell I'd buy a new GC, controller, memory card and 110 euros (or more) for a game that might not even work. Especially when the bloody thing is region locked

Well the plans to work on clones were announced, so it's nice to see some progress. It's a good start. I want that stage they are using, it looks pretty good.

Can anyone help me know why Dolphin (dev build) is always abruptly shutting down on me after a set amount of time (~2 minutes after opening, even if I don't start up a game)..

Seems like North Korea is preparing for war because the U.S put sanctions on the leader of North Korea.

Why can't we just all be civil, or better yet, get a better leader for North Korea who isn't some hostile jerk.

I know a lot of Video Game content creators use emulators because its convenient for recording video game content...no need for pricey capture cards...

Because you can still run legal copies of a game on an emulator. Like a backup on your computer.

That's why Melee/PM is huge on Dolphin and streamers use them to stream games on the internet.

Seems like North Korea is preparing for war because the U.S put sanctions on the leader of North Korea.

Why can't we just all be civil, or better yet, get a better leader for North Korea who isn't some hostile jerk.

The problem there is, we'd need to wage a war to remove a leader from power like that. And that's not what we need atm.

Hopefully this problem can be resolved and we can be somewhat peaceful. The world does not need another world war, especially with all the vast and violent technology we have.

No **** that they got a wake up call! Let's see why that is Capcom, shall we?

• Only 16 fighters in game at launch!
• Bad modeling skills on fighters such as Ken, and Alex!
• Fat Birdie
• Ditching fan favorites such as Sakura, Dan, Blanka, Akuma, Sagat, C. Viper, Q, and many more!
• No Arcade Mode!
• Sakura being given her school uniform AGAIN despite Karin being an adult now! Seriously Capcom, give her the outfit she wears in the comics as her default!
• Charging $30 for a pack of two costumes, Capcom recolors of ALL fighters, and a stage made entirely of reused assets from all of the stages already in game!
• Frankenstein Charlie who dies yet AGAIN! (At least Marvel vs Capcom kept him alive!)

Anything else I missed?

Anyways, yeah to those who want Rinka in Smash, I honestly wanted someone different to represent Fire Emblem in my Smash game. Rinka was a first in many ways. First muscular female fighter in Smash, diversified the roster, and uses a weapon, which like Hector, has never been used before in Smash, her's being a club! (Hector uses an Axe!)

My most liked post was on the Isaac support thread; it was the day that Isaac got revealed in his edited Smashified appearance and also my first time posting in that thread. Strangely, the original post has the image now in the default IMG appearance and it no longer shows the image unless I were to edit it, but I'll keep it as is. Gotta say, though; he really did turn out great and I am hoping that's what he will look like if he gets into the game.
