Out of morbid curiosity, I checked to see if Rosalina's name in this bootleg is her actual Chinese name or a made-up one. Turns out it's her official one (the Simplified Chinese version), so the developers of the game did their research when it comes to naming the characters.

I considered Toon Zelda to be a strong contender due to Phantoms being a big thing in both DS games.

She probably will summon and control them like the Phantom Slash move from Smash.

Granted, I didn't quite expect them to pick another Zelda (with Sheik and Tetra being in the roster and all), so I thought Linebeck would be chosen instead, but I never doubted Toon Zelda in the first place, so I'm not disappointed.

As for the ALBW characters, Yuga and Ravio. Called them.

That's cool, out of the choices of who they would use for the PH/ST, it makes sense to me. Everyone always just assumed it would be Linebeck, but I figured it would be a choice between these characters:

Linebeck
Toon Zelda (With the Phantoms)
Alfonzo (Using the Spirit Train)
Bryne/Staven (Using his claw hand)
Oshus (Using the fairies)
Chancellor Cole (With Malludas and the Demon Train as his weapon)
Bellum
Anjean

These were always the ones I thought they were most likely to use in the PH/ST DLC.

I'm still hoping Toon Link's DLC weapon is Ciela using the hammer from PH

Also really looking forward to how they adapt the Phantoms in Hyrule Warriors, if that is what they use. And please let this be the Zelda from ST, no co-pouts this time and just saying its Tetra in a different from, like they did with Zelda and Shiek in HW.

Ravio will likely use the items you can obtain from him in ALBW. Perhaps the more unique ones like the Sand Rod, not the common stuff such as bombs or bow.

Yuga is self-explanatory. He probably will use moves from his boss battles, maybe transform into paint form to sneak into the floor and attack from below.

Toon Zelda could summon Phantoms or stay in her spirit form but possess Phantoms along the way. Dunno, there's a lot of potential here.

Yes it was, gone back and edited it, stupid board glitched and posted before I finished.

Also just adding to what I said, I still want Saria, Nabooru, Rauru and Groose to be added already, cause I just see them continuously adding characters, but still leaving out other primary story characters, cause now the list of characters that should be there to complete the games has now grown to:
Saria, Nabooru, Raruru, Groose and Makar
Who are all the only still important characters left over from the 3D games still. Well I suppose except from the members of the resistance from TP, but they're not as story important as the missing sages are from OoT and WW.
Plus I don't have easy as a time coming up for move ideas for the resistance from TP, besides Auru, who would use canons, like in the cutscene from when the group saves Link in Hyrule Castle.

A recommendation up to anyone here who may like bullet hell shmups: eXceed 3rd is only 3 bucks right now thanks to the steam sale. I've been playing it a bit and it's quite fun.
