This is pretty cool but if I be honest I'm far more interested in the two new characters on that select screen.
Again wolf is there but we have already seen him elsewhere and this will be the second time I've seen him so I'm very curious as to when we will get a Fox slot with Wolf's Brawl model on it. Because as with this mod:
we can see progress on Pikachu to make him more like Raichu. We can also see Shadow has his own slot here with his own separate model. So I am very curious to see what's going to happen with Wolf in both these mods.
I get great excitement waiting and viewing each new mod that comes out. It keeps the hype alive
EDIT: Sonic battle music Boii

I'm tempted about opening those SFV spoilers, but I want to experience it for myself... yet I no longer have the game. Maybe sometime into next year I might try the game again, when the roster's big enough...? Maybe after three seasons I might try again, but I won't be forgiving when I say I was disappointed with the game following Alex's release. Maybe by the start of next year the game will actually feel fun when there's more to it.

Trust me, the story is good (like MKX good), but not good enough where waiting for another year to get the game again to experience it for yourself is going to be worth it.
Within a year, everything from story mode will be common knowledge and you'll end up getting spoiled anyway.
You'd think those ******** would have read some responses in regards to the CEO incident and learned not to act like this.
Clearly asking too much of them.
So Rosalina's capsule turned green, and it appears she unlocked a third move. I really don't know what I'm doing in this game but it's super addictive. I really wish we could get a translated version.

Mario Party 8 had a candy exclusive to Bowser's board that had a similar effect to this, but rather than giving one a costume it actually morphed the character's body itself to look similar to a Bullet Bill.
Now we just need something like this in a Mairo platformer.
Just the fact Wolf Link & Midna are in this Nintendo crossover has made me very interested....but I'm not the biggest fan of mobile gaming...
nor do I really trust a bootleg...
At the very least I hope this gets Nintendo's attention and they realize how much we want Midna...

I think Rosalina's third skill boosts her attack (so Luma)
In terms of unlocking characters I think most of the 2* and 3* are luck dependent on that question block thing on the main menu. I pulled a Waluigi from the gold draw with a gold ticket (I advise saving gems for gold pulls) and he's two star
Also the one cool thing that's different from other mobile 'RPGs' is that there's an action command for team up attacks (Mario and Luigi is the first one you should get after playing two days in a row, check the 7 button or one of the other ones above it)
Also what level are you guys at right now? My player level is 28 while my squad is mainly 25 or 26
Edit - turn off the auto special move (so make sure the button at bottom left in battle doesn't have the moving arrows) since the internal logic for special moves is dumb at times. If you don't want to use it, click the blue button with the timer.
I don't recall getting any Purple Lumas even with everything I've done in 1.5 days' play
Also the hilarity where in my team Luigi is a lot stronger than Mario, Rosalina is front line despite being a healing unit, and Midna is amazing with her special move crit wise but her wolf attack is... pretty average
Captain Falcon looks like the character for daily logins this coming month which should be cool
Does anyone else think it's a bit sad there's no FE reps yet?
Re Dictator - the Chinese says 'Police' of all things and I've never heard of Dictator ever being referred to that lol (would have expected the Chinese to go Vega since Toad is Kinopio)
I'm sure there's more I could talk about but I'd better get back to work. Once I get on again I'll drop my player name if anyone is in the 库巴军团server
Forgot to mention that I finally achieved 100% completion in Kirby: Planet Robobot, having obtained all the stickers after lots of True Arena replays and playing World 1-4 a few times with UFO Kirby, so I thought I'd post a review.
The story in this game is up there compared to other Kirby titles. Simple robot invasion where the invaders want to mechanize Popstar and harvest its resources is what it is on the surface, but the villain's motivations are actually pretty deep, and you learn that by pausing the game during the latter boss fights. Turns out President Haltmann reactivated Star Dream in revive his daughter, but he became so trusting to Star Dream that he ultimately decided to invade Popstar to achieve his company's goal of eternal prosperity as Star Dream wanted. When he tries to operate Star Dream after his battle with Kirby, Star Dream possesses him, and it eventually erases his mind and soul once it turns into Star Dream Soul OS, with Haltmann recounting why he reactivated the machine in his final moments. Moreover, it's even implied that Susie is actually Haltmann's revived daughter from the Mother Computer, but her and him do not realize it. With Haltmann dead, it's tragic that he died not knowing that his wish was fully realized this whole time, and thinking about Susie's reaction in the future should she learn about it only adds to potential feels.
It's because of this backstory that Haltmann is one of my favorite Kirby villains of all time, and Susie is up there for one of my favorite Kirby characters as well. I really like her girly and sassy personality for a villain!
The plot even ties back to previous titles. Star Dream is revealed to be a Nova when merged with the Access Ark, and President Hartmann talks about how he "reactivated" it after studying "the most advanced civilizations in the galaxy." Considering that Return to Dreamland reveals the Ancient Halcondrans made "clockwork stars", which sounds a lot like Nova, and were considered to be highly advanced (just look at the Lor Starcutter, one of their other creations which was pretty high tech), Planet Robobot deepens the whole Kirby lore, hinting that there are indeed more Novas out there. For a game that looks so happy and light-hearted, it's pretty shocking that it would have a pretty deep story, one that connects to older games and whose villain has quite the backstory. It really is a much better plot than Triple Deluxe, Return to Dreamland, and the other recent Kirby titles.
Gameplay-wise, this game is a whole lot of fun. All of the levels are a huge blast to play on, and even some of the worlds are actually pretty new and interesting for the Kirby universe. World 2 is probably my favorite out of all them, being a city level where many of its levels involve Waddle Dees driving cars that can potentially ram into Kirby if you're not careful, and sometimes there are traffic lights that allow you to plan accordingly. World 5 is also a pretty interesting level, continuing some of the elements offered in World 2 in addition to being a music-themed level. The puzzles in this game are actually pretty clever, especially when it comes to obtaining the Code Cubes. The puzzles do a great job highlighting the new gameplay features the game offers, whether it'd be using the mini-Kirby bot to have move in certain area to allow you to proceed or using the Robobot Armor to create new paths or find certain items.
Speaking of the Robobot Armor, this is hands down my favorite gimmick among the newer Kirby games, far better than the Ultra Ability in RtD and the Hypernova Ability in TD. I really like how versatile the Robobot Armor is, giving you access to a wide variety of abilities with the way you copy them similar to how Kirby normally copies abilities (far more options than the previous unique gimmicks in the last two Kirby titles). Each Robobot ability also has a moveset much like normal Kirby movesets, but they manage to keep it simple so that it doesn't get too complicated trying to memorize what every Robobot ability does.
If there is one qualm I had with this game, it's that it feels much easier compared to other Kirby titles I played in the past. The majority of the Code Cubes were much easier to obtain compared to the Sun Stones, Gears, Chests, Medals in previous titles, with only a few that I had trouble in, whether it'd be because I overlooked it and thus forgot about it or one in World 6-3 where I wasn't patient enough when trying to do one Spark Robobot Armor puzzle at one point. The Chest Key Waddle Dee puzzles were nowhere as annoying as in past titles though, but I guess this improvement might be a good thing.
Most of the bosses also felt pretty easy for the most part as I played the game. The final boss was even among them, requiring almost no rolling (I didn't even use a single super-charged attack in the second phase and received very little damage in all three phases) with the only two bosses that really gave me trouble were the first phase of the Dedede Clone battle and the President Haltmann battle. While I did beat all the bosses on my first try, these two were battles where I almost lost. As for the True Arena, most bosses tended to be easy as well, though I actually lost in my first attempt against Star Dream Soul. That I will admit was a challenge. The True Arena is at least harder than the one in Triple Deluxe, even if use Archer Kirby (Clanky Woods 2.0, Dedede Clones first phase, and Galacta Knight to an extent particularly come to mind).
The soundtrack is also pretty good for the most part. Lots of memorable tracks in both the levels and the boss battles. A good chunk of the music are those from earlier Kirby titles as well, particularly Kirby: Canvas Curse and Kirby: Air Ride. Admittedly, this can be another issue as it could give the impression the music is lazy, but on the other hand, it also gives a huge sense of nostalgia when listening to these tracks again after so long. For me, I especially felt nostalgic listening to the Kirby: Canvas Curse tracks pop up here and then as it was my first DS game.
The game also runs at a smooth 60 FPS, and the graphics look pretty good. The 3D adds pretty well to the experience on most levels, but it sometimes reduces the game's FPS when using it, so this isn't one of those games where you can enjoy it in 3D from start to finish. Another aspect I really liked is that the game makes better use of a 3D overworked than Triple Deluxe did. Some of the boss battles take place on a 3D plane, namely the battles against Clanky Woods, Susie, and President Haltmann, allowing some bosses to gain more interesting attacks.
As for the mini-games, they were pretty fun too. The 3D Kirby minigame provides a pretty good stat what a future Kirby 3D title could be like, one that would probably be the Kirby equivalent to the Super Mario 3D Land and World games. It was pretty easy to beat though. The RPG-style mini-game is also a fun one. You take on bosses from past Kirby titles with your team members as you don special versions of abilities to fit the RPG theme with each having different assets, disadvantages, and stats that you should use to your advantage. The first five were pretty easy for me, but the final battle was actually pretty challenging. I barely beat it on my first try with just 5 seconds left on the clock, and man, Dr. Kirby really saves you (namely if the CPU uses it). As a heads up, you no longer have to obtain Platinum medals for all the mini games to achieve 100% completion. You just have to clear it and that's it.
In all, Kirby: Planet Robobot was a very enjoyable experience. The story is easily the best among the recent titles and perhaps even all the Kirby titles as a whole, and the gameplay is truly a blast with a wide variety of clever puzzles, fun maps, great boss battles, and fun abilities. The Robobot Armor was very well implemented and adds to the fun experience compared to the Ultra Ability and the Hypernova Abilities. Even the mini-games are pretty fun for this iteration. The graphics look great, and the soundtrack is enjoyable too. The only main issues is that game is rather easy compared to other titles, and the music might come out as "lazy" for those that are not a fan of simply rehashing music from past titles.
Other than that, this game feels like my favorite Kirby game thus far, and one that I definitely recommend playing. If I have to give it a rating, I'd give the game...
a 9/10.
I'm new to giving games ratings, so this scale could change overtime, but I think this is appropriate for now.
And to finish off this review: Enjoy this special cutscene if you achieve 100% completion.
I think we now know who is going to replace the Squid Sisters once the Spatfests are done!
What's really weird is that it seems more like a bootleg of Smash Tour than anything else. Except, you know, good.
Really, Nintendo and Sakurai oughta take notes. The SSB IP has tons of potential as an excuse for fun crossover games. They don't need to be more than that. As simple as this game, basically. Sure, it's not a regular game with a roster people clamor for, but it helps, since as long as it uses the SSB IP in general, it expands the franchise itself and makes more happy. It'd also be a great way to get more sales for unique games, as there's tons of genres that SSB can be put into. Clearly, it can be a party game. An rpg(more of a regular one like Final Fantasy's older stuff, with actual turn-based battling, whether you have to select everything and let speed statistics decide who hits first or using the ATB Gauge), or the more strategy rpg's like Fire Emblem, or even action rpg's akin to Dynasty Warriors.
