Speaking of up to date on the manga, what did you think of the most recent chapter?

I know I gave some thoughts about it a while back, but I might as well expand on them.

Spoiler: Attack on Titan Chapter 82 Thoughts

One of my favorite chapters overall. Armin's death moved me. He was one of my favorite characters because of how his intellect pulled the group through in many situations, and he even had some badass moments (namely the one where he saved Jean from one of the people from Kenny Ackerman's squad). I was hoping he'd get to see the ocean by the end of the series, but alas, he's gone. His sacrifice was really well-written though, and it was a powerful scene overall. There are theories going around that Levi might use the Titan serum on him because he overheard Armin's conversation with Eren and Mikasa back in Chapter 72, but personally, I really want Armin to stay dead. I think it'd make a way more interesting plot to see how events will develop now with Armin gone.

Another element I really liked was that the Colossal Titan was ultimately defeated not by Eren's Titan form, but by Eren as his human self. Having the human land the final blow on Bertolt symbolizes humanity's victory over the titans, and the same can be said about the Armoires Titan's defeat, where Mikasa is the one that lands the final blow to defeat Reiner. A really neat detail in that scene is that her words to Reiner mirror her words to Annie when she defeated her. Instead of saying, "Annie, fall," she says, "Reiner, get out!" You can see the similarities between these two lines.

I'm also really glad Hange is alive, even though it was hinted that she survived two chapters ago where she wasn't among the dead soldiers surrounding Erwin and Levi. I guess we will find out how Moblit sacrificed himself to save her soon enough.

I only wonder now if Levi has survived against the sudden rush of Titans. I have a feeling he did, but I don't think he'll catch up to Zeke at this rate (that battle last chapter was so awesome). Zeke is also shaping up to be a very interesting villain, so I can't wait wait to see more of him in the next several chapters.

With the battle almost done, now Levi is the only part we have to worry about, we should be expecting the basement reveal a few chapters from now, and oh man I can't wait for that. This has been my favorite arc overall this far!

I honestly do like some of the designs of the Mighty Numbers.

Lost World was pretty good and Runners was really good before the worldwide release.

Before that we had Generations which was amazing and is a lot of people's favourite game.

I thought Lost World was considered mediocre.

Generations, sure. It was definitely great. And as far as Runners goes, all I've heard from it was a bunch of problems and level design issues after launch. Was it really good before that?

Lost World is divisive but it's still a good game. Controls work fine, graphics are nice, music is great. It was just there were a lot of gimmick levels that bogged it down but the core gameplay was really solid.

Runners was pretty great in soft launch. After the worldwide release though, they made a lot of changes that didn't sit well with people and even more so in the 2.0 update, which would lead to it shutting down.

Shame too, because it really had the right idea during soft launch.

I'm not sure but I heard that the characters were designed by Inti Creates, the same people who made Azure Striker Gunvolt and worked on the Mega Man Zero games. That's why the designs are good.

I'm a bit skeptical on this since the four moves still take up the entire right half of the screen in battle, and I think if they wanted to implement a fifth, they'd leave space for it like they did when Popplio only had three.

Having said that, it'd be very interesting, though I'd fear running into things like Garchomp or Mega Salamence with that new mechanic.

I think it's a bad idea. Just stick with 4 moves GF.

More moves = more coverage. More coverage = possibly less counters/checks.

Unless they find some way to balance it.

If they are going to add Pokemon with 5 moves, make it caused by an item. You could trade power for coverage so you can't have a Life Orb Talonflame with Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, Swords Dance, Roost, and Will-o-Wisp.
Although Game Freak needs to find a way to store the fifth move if the item is removed.

It is possible that the 5th slot could be for Mega Evolution. I mean, in Gen 6, Mega Evolution is on the same screen as the moves.

But yeah, a 5th move would be game-changing, especially considering alot of Pokemon sets want a 5th move. I just hope for something that game-changing that the 5th move will be a "Set" move rather than a choose-able move.

Also, I never realized how much I wanted a Bug/Fighting Mega Ledian.

Shiny form maybe, or just for movie?

It seems like a potential shiny form. I still think it's nice touch that it was more colorful 500 years ago because it's current look would demonstrate how it loses color and becomes more metallic-like in color as it ages over the years.

This makes me want Season 2 even more!!! (because at least atm, I don't read manga...)

I'm aware I'm a day late with this reply, so I apologize. It's just that I didn't even know there was an Attack on Titan discussion yesterday that I apparently skipped out on.

If you're going to wait for season 2 of the anime to come out and not read the manga, I would also stay away from Attack on Titan: Junior High if you want to avoid spoilers. AoT: Junior High is a 12 episode spin-off series where the Attack on Titan cast attends middle school, and it parodies some of the main series' most iconic moments and puts them in a school context, and it is pretty funny overall (I had a good laugh at some moments). Long story short, that spin-off series spoils some huge moments from season 2; there are even some season 2 characters that make an appearance in some episodes. Thus, I would recommend only watching AoT: Junior High until you've seen all of season 2.

I know there was also some discussion regarding whether or not season 2 will come out this year. I know there is an AoT live event coming up around the beginning of July that will feature some of the Attack on Titan voice actors. I'd say that is where we will learn if season 2 will come out in 2016 or it's being delayed (the live event also happens after the final episode of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, so my optimistic side is making me lean towards the possibility that's when we will see the first season 2 trailer, but we'll find out soon)

Yeah... Overall, I think the problem lies with one fact; Cartoon Network is turning into a literal kiddy land.
First off, Teen Titans Go (while the original voice actors are back) is infected with bad childish jokes and memes, and when there is any action, it feels like a complete joke and not like the original Teen Titans; that was action packed, this is not.

Second off, Powerpuff Girls (2016) has also fallen into the kiddy land category; they didn't bring in the original voice actors (despite them wanting to voice the main characters again, but they were never actually contacted), and the show overall is just the same as Teen Titans Go; it's weird and targeted towards children.

Now with this Ben 10 revival going into the mix (even though as Cutie Gwen said, it's not really a revival due to relativity in the past few years), it'll most likely just become a victim like the other two shows before they were revived (I would of been fine with them staying as is and not having these attempts at a revival).

It's a real shame, honestly... At least Samurai Jack is getting a proper revival...

This makes the least sense of all. Ben 10 was still popular and had a new show quite recently. This is the 5th show the franchise has iirc, and the 4th one already had the kid Ben. Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans at least had the flimsy excuse that they hadn't been on television in a decade or so, this franchise had a new season 2 years ago

It's one of three things:
1-Rushed menu for the demo, will be removed later
2-Random space for no reason, may or may not be removed
3-Actually 5 moves total
In the third case... this is gonna drastically change things up
Type coverage becomes easier, sets become more unpredictable, new sets can be made, Protean gets banned to AG and I can put healing moves for my no items Nuzlockes without having to waste a slot
Honestly, I kinda want it to happen, even if I doubt it, it's something so simple mechanically yet with such a big effect strategically

Ruining one of the few shows that helped definite the channel would definitely give them plenty of hate. Not sure what to say about Regular Show and Adventure Time since I haven't watched them in a while.
