I knew scorpions were, but eating spiders seems less appetizing. And, I guess horseshoe crabs are also closely related to scorpions so that makes sense.

Motion controls I'll agree that they're not as "important" to have since a lot of games that do use them are generally better off without them. Still, I don't think that's enough to outright remove them, just focus on them less unless something actually useful can be done with them.

Well shoot. The presentation airs right when I need to go to my afternoon class. I might have something going right before it too. Seems like my chances of watching it live are pretty slim. If I do watch it live, I'll probably only watch the first 10 minutes of it. More likely I won't watch the Direct until after 6:45 PM.

I was looking forward to watching this Direct live, but oh well, at least I got to watch the Switch presentation live. I predict it will last for roughly 15 minutes. They'll probably discuss Fire Emblem Warriors and Fire Emblem mobile for most of the presentation, and if they were to reveal a new game, it will probably be at the very end with some brief details following the trailer.

I don't see why some people think Touch Screen isn't all that useful/is a gimmick. There's plenty of games that have shown how touchscreens can be a very integral part to their controls and not feel like it was shoehorned in.

I always found Touch controls to work better than Motion controls most of the time. Either that or most Motion controls felt shoehorned compared to some games where they are actually a focus. But compared to games with Motion controls, I can think of tons of DS/3DS games where the Touch Controls are handy and integral.

I think some people probably got introduced with the touch screen either through the Wii U where it wasn't really utilized that much or through some early DS game where it got used a little too much (Most notable example is probably the DS Zelda's) or by the fact that many IOS games use them and think its some casual gimmick.

However, touch controls have actually been very useful for a number of games (Such as Ace Attorney), if not, completely integral for their gameplay (Professor Layton). Some of those being highly popular or beloved franchises that Nintendo would probably not want to abandon.

Plus, can you imagine playing a game like Art Academy or Flipnote Studio with traditional controls? You're probably better off using a computer mouse instead.....

Reading Not Always Right in the Theme Park tag, and I recognized a really specific theme park location and was more interested in the fact that I actually remembered the bargain deal for free unlimited soft drinks there upon having my memory jogged than the anecdote.

I just saw another entry that didn't have a location marked, but it also had a free unlimited soft drink deal so I'm guessing it was the same place.

Come to think of it, it's kind of insane that they offer (or at least offered, no idea if it changed since my visit and the anecdotes I'm seeing) free soft drinks there. Not that they don't more than make up the money lost on it other ways.

Of course, apparently the issue is that visitors have no idea what "free" and "unlimited" mean. . .

*EDIT* Read the comments and yeah that's definitely the place. I remembered there being free sunscreen, too, and one of the comments recognized it and mentioned it.

You would have to set the destination to the Gas Stations for some areas.. I got tired of him parking in the wrong area For one of the Cities that I manually set the destination close to the gas station so i could Refuel the car without having him park in the parking spot and forcing me to take the wheel and drive there myself..
