Touchscreen: Sweet
Battery life: Not too shabby
Region lock: AW YIS
Motion controls: That's actually pretty impressive and immersive
1 2 Switch: Innocent little game, looks okay
ARMS: This looks ****ing cool, new IP and fun concept
Splatoon 2: I didn't see most of it, but it's nice to see a successful IP
Super Mario Odyssey: I have never been excited for a Mario game until now
Pimp Bowser: 100000000/10
Xenoblade 2: New Monado looks pretty damn sweet, can't wait to see more of this!

Probably can't buy it launch, but luckily that's not too bad for now. Calling it now,either it will do well on launch regardless because of BotW or people will wait for Odyssey and everyone will misinterpret this as NINTENDO IS DOOMED

Hey, the Presentation was pretty good. Breath of the Wild coming out at launch, the Super Mario Odyssey reveal, Xenoblade 2, and more. Very good!

However, having to pay for online is a huge turnoff for me. I'm pretty disappointed about that one. I know I'll get the system and the games anyway but it's pretty unfortunate that they decided to go under this model. I understand that Nintendo is a business and that they have to figure out ways on how to make more money to stay afloat, but... eh... whatever. I can't do anything about it.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (Which made me cry it was so beautiful), Arms, 1 2 Switch, Skyrim, Project Octopath

There are so many switch games I want to get...

All it needs is Smash Bros for my Wii U to be in danger. If it gets Kingdom Hearts then my PS4 is gone.

Definitely buying. I'll probably wait until after E3 to purchase, but I'm getting it, and I'm getting a **** ton of games for this thing.

Presentation was lit.

Shin Megami Tensei V, BoTW, Mario Oddesey, Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem Musou, a bunch of a 3rd party stuff.

All it needs is a decent launch line up, and even then not really because when was the last time ANY console had a decent launch line up?

My thoughts:

  • Only 299,99 US is a pretty good price.
  • The Joy Con strap thingy looks pretty useful. I like it!
  • The battery and specs looks pretty good so far, thought the battery "charge by games" kinda worry me.
  • 1,2 Switch looks pretty blah. Nothing bad, just kinda underwhelming.
  • Arms looked bland at first, but I saw how it worked I was hyped. If the Joycon is responsive enough, it could be an awesome game.
  • Splatoon2 is, as expected, Splatoon with more guns, more power-ups, more costumization and more fun. The dual-guns looks pretty fun to play. Also, what's with the dab?
  • Super Mario Oddessey : Speedwagon edition look amazing: gorgeous graphic, creative and amazing worlds, Splatoon reference and one hell of an handsome outfit for Bowser. The hat mechanic looked great, hope you can had balde to it.:troll: The lack of Luigi and Jr make me sad thought.
  • Jr is in the Mario Kart Switch, yes!
  • Xenoblade2 looks simply amazing.
  • Is Fire Emblem Warrior like Hyrule Warriors? Looks interesting either way.
  • Skyrim is coming, as expected.
  • I don't care about Fifa. The EA guy looked unsurpringly evil.
  • Zelda Breath of the Wild at Launch!!! It looks grandiose!
  • The other games looked pretty cool too.
  • The launch lin up is kinda small for now.
Overall, I'm very pleased by the presentation. I can't believe the Switch is only a few months away.

Is there any hints at Smash through what you guys are finding? All I needed was a mention, but that did not come to pass, apparently...

I do not wish to wait another year; there has to be a hint somewhere.

I thunk I'll wait a little while before I get a switch there only one game I want a launch.
My baby is back! King boo I missed you so much!:cry: And The battle mode is back. Yes! I hated the other one.
minus the lack of launch games the switch is looking good.

I'm a bit crushed by paid online and the amount of fallout the Switch is about to have drop on it's head, but Kawaiinoblade Chronicles 2 is going to be added to my list pretty quick so it wasn't a total loss.

I'm never going to hear the end of it after Nintendo completely whiffed that presentation. At least it should be pretty easy to get a system preordered now. . .

By the time very many games I care about are released, I'll already have to shell out for online and won't have half the time to play them.

I just hope Treehouse shows more of that Splatoon game instead of dwelling on the new stuff constantly. Hopefully some more games will be announced soon, the leaks had a pretty extensive list building up.

Why the heck didn't they put the Mario Kart trailer in the conference? I'm going to wait until Black Friday for the Switch if it gets better over time, because I'm not enticed to buy it right now. Especially since it's $400 here.

Final opinions

  • Paid online suuuuuuucks
  • 1-2-Switch is blatantly not made for me
  • ARMS actually looks really fun
  • Mario Odyssey is like. . beautiful man. I have very high hopes for this one.
  • Splatoon 2. I wanted a real sequel. I GOT a real sequel. New campaign confirmed. We got single player gear like ink rails in regular maps. All new weapons. It's going to be spectacular. (Holy **** chargers can hold a charge through swimming in ink)
  • Fire Emblem warriors made me do unholy things. I thought it was a pipe dream. I thought mario Warriors was inevitable. but I was SO DAMN WRONG AND I LOVE IT. Chrom alone is hype but there are plenty of character we still need to see. Hoping for Roy and Lyn but speculating for that is another time haha.
  • Got some square stuff so good start
  • Inklings in mario kart + splatoon stage is hype as **** (shoo-in for smash :p)

    If this is a legit continuation of the story I will buy a switch. Like. . .no question. I mean jeez I really didn't expect this one, or at least not this soon. Im so hyped for this one it isn't even funny. Like damn. A seuel to my second favorite of all time. On the go. Hot damn. I mean. wow this, FE and Splat blew me away like no other. Legit super hyped about these babies.
  • Zelda still looks good. I wonder if we are back to old woman Impa (RIP smash chances again if so)

In the end, 300 sucks and we have like 0 knowledge of the day one launch games. Games like DBZ are hype because the list is so broad but for 300 and paying for online I dont think im a Day one buy just yet even if I reallllllllllllllllly want the big 3 i talked about.
