Not to mention all the other stuff like NieR Automata and the Dragon Quest stuff on 3DS, that others seem excited for.

2017 is probably gonna be one of the best years for gaming in a while.

Sometimes I just like to turn into a squid and flop around on DJ Octavio's snowglobe prison. I feel like it's a hilarious amount of disrespect to him since usually I end up blowing up gigantic eldritch horrors or the villain gets away before anything can really happen. Wait. . .spontaneous plothole solving fan theory again. Not that it does a good enough job if it is, but that would at least qualify as trying to keep him in there.

Games you doubt would happen but would blow you away at the presentation?

This can be anything, from 1st to 3rd party, any storyline, and concept, etc.

For me, I would honestly love to see either Super Mario RPG HD or a new captain toad game based on galaxy. That would be great to see in that style and HD.

Cool spinoffs would be great to see as well, like more warrior games or other unique spinoff genres like Detective Pikachu.

Super Mario Galaxy: 10th Anniversary Edition - a remaster of both Galaxy games akin to Wind Waker HD. Displays the game at a native 1080p resolution. Uses updated character models and improved lighting. Has an optional unified save system that helps seamlessly blend both games together, making it feel like one big, epic adventure. Adds amiibo support. The main one being that when you scan in a Rosalina amiibo, she will appear to assist Mario by floating by his side and deflecting enemy attacks and saving him from pitfalls. You would also be able to talk to her at anytime while she is summoned, and she will remark on the current situation and also tell you helpful tips and secrets. Scanning a Bowser amiibo could also activate a game-spanning Daredevil Mode, which makes it so that Mario can't take more than one hit, ever, and there are no checkpoints (Rosalina can still be summoned though). Also, as an added unlockable, they could make an animated short movie based on Rosalina's Storybook. Not to replace the original storybook, but as an added bonus for 100% completion or something. The Co-Star Luma mode from Galaxy 2 is also active in the Galaxy 1 levels while playing with a second player. Luigi is unlocked for Galaxy 1 levels as soon as you rescue him. The game would launch on November 1st, the same day Super Mario Galaxy launched ten years prior. Sold at $45 (assuming full price Switch games are still $60 like on Wii U).

Any Nintendo Warriors game would be cool, but I mainly want to see a Super Mario one.

The usual "new game for underused franchise" (F-Zero, Kid Icarus, etc).

An action-adventure RPG starring Rosalina, serving as a celebration of her own 10th Anniversary, as well as a potential start to her own franchise like Yoshi has got. I could go into great length on this but I won't bore anyone here (plus it's late, lol).

Also yeah I want to see Detective Pikachu.

Also, a localisation of The Great Ace Attorney 1 & 2 on Switch would be amazing.

And a 3D Kirby adventure game.

Any two of these would make me at least consider getting a Switch at launch, on top of the expected stuff.

EDIT: Oh yeah, a Codename Steam sequel would be dope too.

Advance Wars Switch.

FE is going mobile in 2017 so I can't see why Intelligent Systems can't revive AW on the Switch somewhat close to launch especially given how the series can make a huge comeback on that system. Even more so how long Advance Wars has been MIA. The series is way overdue for a new game.

Other than that Golden Sun and F-Zero. More so Golden Sun though.

The minigame at least attempted a test at it, but from the admittedly only one level so far I had gone into it the attempt doesn't seem to fit how I would imagine a 3D venture. I imagine it would feel very experimental in the same fashion as early 3D platformers if they did get it to work, because in order to Kirby to be Kirby there's a lot of delicate things they would have to get in place and they'd have to feel their way through for the first try.

Oh, and the fandom would shatter to angry little pieces as with every other fandom of anything that transitioned to 3D, that too. Considering Kirby's one of the few large franchises with a relatively placid fandom, that will be especially sad to see go away.

*EDIT* That isn't to say I wouldn't be interested, I would, just. . .having a slightly harder time picturing how it would work to a satisfactory level.

I'll even take a remake of the original in HD to gauge interest in a sequel. Outside of the REmake that game is my favorite horror game of all time.

Either they go full Mario 64 with it and make it so that it's more of an adventure game where you do quests for people to collect macguffins in open ended levels, and just go nuts with what copy abilities can do (and make them useful for finding secrets and such).

Or they go for a more linear approach that's almost like a beat 'em up action game. Which Kirby already sort of is anyway.

His flight isn't an issue. It already trivialises most platforming in 2D games, so why worry about that in 3D? Plus, they can use a lot of the same tricks to force platforming like they do in 2D (Kirby needing to carry something somewhere to advance, high wind currents that push him down, underwater sections, etc).

If need be, just limit his jumps like in Air Ride. Or give him a flight meter that can be upgraded.

Anyway, to answer the overall topic at hand, I think a new Kid Icarus game of. . .pretty much any kind would be something unexpected that would hype me up. Aside from that, nearly everything that I could ask for that would REALLY start sending my hype up has already been rumored enough that I'm not too concerned about it.

Basically, it's more what's in the games themselves that would send me into crazy hype mode than what games there are with so many games I already want likely accounted for.

. . .Although I would definitely take Kirby Warriors. I see enough hypothetical crazy in that one that if that ended up being the IP picked for the next one I would jump at it. It's probably not it though.

Anime Benchwatch Part 4:Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
I LOOOOVVVEEE ITTT!!!!!Basically take everything i said about toradora and imporve on it.The characters are very humanized and down to earth(expect misaki and shiina both for fair reasons).Teaches a lesson thats not really taught in anime,atleast the ones i seen(Basically hard work doesnt pay off all the time) and the romance doesnt seemed forced nor does the comedy.Only complaint is that at times there's pointless fanservice but i can look past it.Really ever since i started benchwatching anime out of the 4 i seen this past week this is the only one to actually make me cry at the end and not want it to end.If your looking for a good romantic comedy anime that's actually not 100% cliches watch Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo might be surprise at what you find.... Also Shiina best anime girl(Sorry taiga)

For those who can count, you can probably notice that I'm currently at a little dilemma...I just caught Mimikyu and I'm a little undecided who to switch out for it...Mimikyu will be a great counter for Dark types (and a good addition in general simply because of it's ability) so I definitely want it on my team....
Misdreavus and Drifblim are putting in work for my team...
Sableye is another good counter for Dark and Ghost types and because of Brick Break it's good against Normal types (which often have dark type moves) (also Sableye is my favourite Ghost type so....he's staying)
Decidueye and Marowak are solid choices for an in-game team (I'm probably going to trade my Marowak over to Sun to teach it Shadow Bone so it can have a good STAB move)
Sandygast is likely on the chopping block, but I do want to at least try out Palossand when it evolves but so far it hasn't really done much for my team...

At this point (if I'm not mistaken) there's only one ghost type left that I can get before post-game...being Dhelmise...
