It was RebelTaxi's idea, he made the list of "Worst cartoon opening themes" in like 2014 and The Nutshack ranked high.
And technically Pokemon Go is the best meme of 2016. It got genoneers and others to come back to the series.

I think it's because RebelTaxi/Pan Pizza listed the theme in his top 5 worst cartoon intros a few years back. Silva apparently started contacting him for some sort of collaboration that Pan kept turning down, and then Nutshack was pushed everywhere. He mentions it somewhere in this video

Every time I look at this goofy *** Pokémon, the very first thing that comes to my mind is that video above the moveset. Anyways, Drampa is a really cool Pokémon. Good bulk, great movepool, and a unique ability in Berserk, which allows Drampa to sweep late game and destroy opposing targets while having a large HP pool that's healable with LO and Roost.

Yeah. Finally bred one up. Can I ask something though? Why the damn limitation on its move pool? Give it Close Combat damn it. Or Aura Sphere! I'd kill for AS Kommo-O because of what its other option is; Focus Miss. So the moveset is pretty simply. Out speed multiple target threats with Autotomize, then sweep with Life Orb-boosted overpower attacks like Clanging Scales and Focus Blast. Flash Cannon hits those troublesome fairies for hard damage. Fightnium-Z is an option if I want to guarantee a KO on multiple unresisted Pokémon who otherwise endure... actually that's bull**** I just don't want to miss.

I honestly prefer soundproof because of hyper voice and it's inevitable return lol though determining what ability it's going to have is going to be difficult. I'd also forgo fighting stab if I were to make a special one than use Focus miss.. it's too unreliable

Too bad the game was kind of poorly handled during the earlier months. Thus leading to the creation of the "Pokemon GO is dead" memes. Niantic probably didn't expect the game to get as big as it did.

Speaking of which, it's possibly getting nominated for Best Handheld and Most Innovative Game for the Game Developers Choice Awards 2017 (with No Man's Sky there for some reason).

Anyways... Yeah I was gonna go for Calm Mind but choosing a different move over Hyper Voice was hard (HV/DP gets countered by Mimikyu) so I went for three moves instead so I could keep it. As for Soundproof- I agree. But right now, that's not my concern. Until Sylveon makes an appearance with HV I'll stick with Bulletproof. And finally, I don't want to ignore it's Fighting-Type STAB. The reason why I went Special is because Flygon is a better DDer then Kommo-O, and once I get that 6IV Ditto, I'll be adding Flygon later.

To be honest, it's pretty dumb to group mobile games with handheld games when the two are clearly different. Just because your average freemium mobile game is handheld, doesn't mean it should be in the same category as Fire Emblem Fates and Pokemon Sun/Moon.

Speaking of JJBA in a way, Part 4 especially.......A day or two ago I found out about Crunchyroll's Anime Awards for 2016.
I'm extremely disappointed to say the least.

Josuke isn't nominated for Best Hero. No one from Izetta got nominated for Best Girl, nor did Yukako or Luluco or anyone from Konosuba Not a single fight from any of the above shows got into Best Fight. Koichi and Yukako didn't get nominated for Best Couple.
I watched four anime shows that came out in 2016 :JJBA P4, Izetta, Konosuba, and Space Patrol Luluco, Of those four, Izetta didn't get a single nomination and the other three got 2-4 nominations each while things like Yuri on Ice, Kabaneri, Re Zero, and My Hero Academia got tons. Not only that, but they only allowed four nominations per category, and again, had little to no diversity. Mumei from Kabaneri is nominated for Best Girl. She's also nominated for Best Hero, however iirc, Super Eyepatch Wolf's video on villains tells me that she isn't the main hero. It makes no sense, and again has so little diversity. I get that it's the first year they're doing this, but I'm still extremely upset.

I will say this, Kira has Best Villain in the bag, easy.

I wasn't too surprised about no Izetta, it didn't really make it big, much like 91 Days.
What did surprise me was that Bungou Stray Dogs didn't get a single nomination despite it being quite popular and damn it at least deserved a nomination for Best Animation even if Mob Psycho 100 wins that by a landslide.
And no Jojo besides Best Villain when the Josuke vs. Kira fight should have been in(the fights they chose are also pretty weird: MHA's Deku vs. Kacchan and MP100's Mob vs. Koyama are pretty good but the other two are "Gundam fight #195620" and "Girl vs generic zombies".

I played the NieR: Automana demo, having no experience with the previous game, I was completely lost story wise (assuming it even connects to it).

But I did really enjoy it gameplay-wise. The camera gave me some trouble, but everyone else was really good. May pick this up sometime down the line.

I played the NieR: Automana demo, having no experience with the previous game, I was completely lost story wise (assuming it even connects to it).

But I did really enjoy it gameplay-wise. The camera gave me some trouble, but everyone else was really good. May pick this up sometime down the line.

I highly recommend finding a way to checkout the first game. It plays pretty mediocre to be honest, but it's narrative and score is fantastic. The way game defies expectations makes it an experience to be had. If you can't get easy access to the game I'd recommend seeing the Super Best Friends playthrough of the game. It's covers all the alternate ending, providing a complete overview of the game.
